Hello Everyone, I am Idongesit Basil, a Market research analyst with Sagaci research, a Pan-african market research company. An ardent but silent follower of this thread. And I must say this is one of the most stimulating threads on Nairaland. I write because Sagaci research is conducting a focus group discussion session as it relates to sports and sports fandom. The key focus of the session is to understand how sport fans in Nigeria(like yourselves consume and interact with digital content in the context of professional sport (with extra focus on basketball). And I believe a lot of the contributors on this thread (esp. eruditor, steady 896, Karnthornheart, A40, khan ben)would be suitable participants of this session. To this end, we request your kind participation in the focus group discusssion session. The session detail refers.... Date - Thursday 13 june, 2019 Venue - Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja Time - 11 am - 1pm The session is billed as an informal discussion where there are no right or wrong answers and everyone’s opinion matters. Your participation in the research is voluntary. You may choose not to answer any or all questions, and you may stop at any time . A small honorarium will be afforded participants for their time. Please anyone who is interested in being a part of this session should kindly signal their interest with their emails/phone number/or contact me on 08182052486(text/whatsapp). or if there's a more suitable/private way we can reach you Note: Mods please permit to do this as I am not sure if I am breaking any rules with this message Regards, Idongesit Basil |
nothing funny or to be thankful for. All I read was aggravated assault with intent to kill. I just wonder why the story didn't end up with the lady spending at least a year in jail. |
Boss13:Exactly o....@iLegend. Do not be dismissive of the OP's nuggets ooo. Na experience dey talk here oo. Marriage experience and dating experience no be same. A Woman pre-marriage and post-marriage can be 2 different beasts if she chooses (operative word being CHOOSES). Even the best of Alpha-maleš have ended up losing their lives to the wrong women oo. It's almost impossible to change another save the changee takes a conscious effort to be changed. And even then you'll also need some help from a higher power cos it's established that Humans are deathly resistant to change Be guided Sir |
Ifeoma77:Thank you very much Ma'am. Happy Belated birthday ![]() Saintimakuh:Thank you very much for your this Sir. Please to confirm is it the CIPM - chartered institute of Personnel Management or....? |
Hello everyone A big ups to active contributors on this thread. we owe a lot to you guys. I wanted to confirm if anyone knows a list of professional certifications other than ACCA or I CAN which would be considered for the two or more certificate, diploma, degree CRS score ![]() I"m talking about certifications like CIPM, CIPS et al. and what ECA body will most likely favour these certifications?? |
TheCongo2:Not that I advocate for crime. But even if they were into money laundering , the operative theme here is they launder this money via businesses that intentionally/unintentionally create opportunities and contribute to the growth of their community. Same cannot be said of Blacks |
wetdick:Exactly. This past month I've been reading and watching lectures and commentaries by reputed black conservatives and scholars in the US who have moved away from the idea of institutionalised racism and believe the US has made a lot of positive progress with regards to racial prejudice. These men are calmly urging other members of the black community to move on and not cling-on to the ideology/paranoia of institutionalised racism. But to make something of themselves especially in a current America that is at its most tolerant and most sensitive to political correctness so much it has been brow-beaten into making some form of restitutive concessions for minorities especially blacks. (think affirmative action, black history month and other concessions other minority groups do not get). Much Progress will be made if our black brothers would embrace the logic of this right-thinking minds and leaders INSTEAD of the louder and more aggressive liberals/leftists counterparts (Al Sharpton et al.)who are hell-bent on fanning the flames of the racism agenda - always blaming the white-man for their lack of progress. jesmond3945:Bros leave this white man will not allow them thing. Yes we cannot be totally dismissive of these things. But if we rise above and are determined to change the narrative and impact your sphere of influence (positively/negatively) no Gov't can stop you. Go and watch documentaries like "the Men who built America", read about the Rothschild family, the Italian American community/mafia (the Gambino and Bonnano crime families). This were guys who from nothing grew to become so powerful that they became too big to fail for the Government). For the blacks we have a few elites who are too big too fail at this time (think Oprah, Robert Johnson et al.) if these guys could pool their smarts and establish a secret society like the Jewish elite do (read about conspiracy theories about the Jewish elite). Groups like The NAACP also actively pursue such agenda/model the fortunes of the black community will improve dramatically. |
globemoney:I swear this unlimitik guy is annoying. Arguing based on pure passion. No facts. Just extrapolating from what he watches from movies and maybe news channel. Anyways OP is right. Its clear to see that the UK doesn't have a decent enough representation of affluent blacks/black neighbourhoods. I wouldn't exactly know why because I have not lived in these clime. But it is troubling the position of the black community in the UK and other developed nations, considering other cultures like the Jews and Asians who are thriving in countries away from their home-land by creating their own ooportunities and empowering their communities. Not relying on things like Affirmative action etc. like they have in the US. These other ethnicities somehow have found a formula of going against the grain and making something out of the very little they are afforded. Even when you read about the history/back-story of the Italian American community and their origins. You cant help but marvel at how clever this guys were creating opportunities, expanding their influence in a society that was skeptical about them. To even think that the Italians rocked America with a lot of violence and illegal activities which have become like an acceptable norm and a stereotype woven into the fabric of the American society. But the black community are still down the ethnicity ladder and enduring the stereotype of violence, poverty. Still smarting from the wounds of Slavery and oppression if yesteryears. Granted this still persist till tomorrow. But if we could learn from the Jews. Leave matter of skin colour but model the Jews to building a society. Even Africa would benefit from it. If you hear the amount of money the Jewish community in America donate back to the homeland. And how they still have strong ties to the homeland ensuring the preservation of the homeland. This is a community that was in the verge of extinction some decades ago. I dey cry for the black race. Maybe, just maybe we are cursed. : ![]() |
