transformR:here comes the CIA killed lumumba theories blah blah blah.
,then either he has not been well served by his foreign policy advisers,or he is being intentionally ignorant
more like he is prioritizing his visits. Ghana is seen an emerging economy and soon to be oil producing so why not go there? The secretary of state visited Nigeria so that's a consolatory price. |
Is nigeria in the middle east?
did i say Nigeria is in the middle east ![]() |
transformR:umm the issue of debt relief or payments have come up before on CNN, PBS and countless of other network. no disrespect but it seems you are the one looking for soley negative reports on Africa Who caused the crisis in Congo? Have you heard of Lumumba?umm we know who patrice lumumba is. not that much of a secret. Why dose Zimbabwe get so much coverage? Because some White farmers got a bloody nose; why did they not give Abachas regime the same treatment?the alarming inflation rate and election violence in zimbabwe dominated the news recently and not the fate of white farmers. Darfur is a bad situation - its a war of Arabs trying to wipe out Africans and yes it gets plenty of coverage because its negative and tell me why do they give it so much coverage and NO HELP!!! Why has Obama not mentioned it?no help? you mean charity groups such as doctors with borders are offering no help? or the sudanese president being summoned with a warrant (that the AU is against) is no help? The bills passed by the UN is no help? The support provided to the african taskforce in sudan is no help? well lets just agree to disagree. i hope u know the US imports more oil from nigeria than saudi arabia, and its the sweet kind they prefer in the refineries here, saudi has heavy crude insteadnigeria is 4th, while saudi-arabia is 5th. the difference is negligible as kobo pointed out. There are US army bases in saudi-arabia and saudi's are needed in middle east peace talks. I think it's safe to say saudi-arabia is a bigger ally than Nigeria. |
muhsin:umm it's contestable. palestinians don't even have an effective government or voice. Who does Israel negotiate with, hamas or fatah? both sides need to stop passing the blame to one another. |
Islam and Christianity aren't exactly mutually exclusive. they are both strange diversions from Judaism. |
ouch that hurt. bitch please |
This is Tudór from living faith sahara desert (church Treasurer) would papa oyedepo kindly send his 2 Jets over to help convey us and our camels to the venue?
lmao the funniest post i have read in a while |
but he went to china,he went to saudi arabia,he went to russia, see the hypocricy nigeria, kenya and SA has arguably better freedoms and democratic idealS than these countries he happily visited,so why the double standard?
china, saudi-arabia and russia are bigger trade partners and deemed bigger priorities than the after mentioned countries. China is need to address the issue of North Korea and saudi-arabia is a big ally in the middle-east.
he meant size of economy, read my post above
so what? they are countries on the right path. You should be concerned about addressing the issues that led to the media coverage and not media coverage itself. negativity and controversy sells. |
transformR:why should size matter? Japan is a relatively small country but that hasn't stopped them from developing an economy. It's pretty Ignorant to make fun of these countries because of their size. Not all the debt was paid off by Nigeria as some of it was relieved and yes it did make the news. Debt relief for african countries has made the news a number of time. Its funny when Africans whine about media coverage. Are these media houses lying when they show pictures of zimbabwe, congo and darfur? |
lol this is jokes. |
transformR:the economic advancement in countries like botswana would be an example. Reconstruction in Liberia. More negatives than positives though. |
it's funny when people say the good parts of african should be shown. The point is the good parts of Africa are being shown but the negative overwhelm the good parts. Most Nigerians would be complaining if slum dog millionaire was staged in Nigeria. hey lets ignore the bad parts and act as if they don't exist. |
Aywire:enough? |
Gekko:he would be ok. he already admitted to handling the ball so it's not as if there is a cover up. |
He could not even find the contracts he had originally signed, Mr Tennink added.lol naija boy |
JeSoul:I agree, just restrict what can be challenged. a classic example would have being Ikpeba's penalty kick during the nations cup . It won't slow down the game if used effectively. |
SEFAGO:awon boiz ![]() |
conversion, conversion from what to what? from u praying to the gods of your ancestors to you praying to a white european jesus
i'm an atheist. You think i care about Christianity? commerce, yea they came to trade in slavesnope, the initial form of exchange among europeans and africans was trade for goods such as palm oil, gold, copper, peanuts spices etc. Slavery became a more profitable venture after that. Missionaries like Livingston actually campaigned against slavery, especially the Arab slave trade. What they did encourage was colonization. civilization, are u a damn fool too? did the white man build the bini kingdom too? or the oyo, kanem bornu empires,or the igbo civilization tooThis were the ideas of the missionaries not mine. Learn to read people. there was always an exchange of technology and craft between Europeans and Africans. There is evidence Africans adopted ideas from Europeans such as gun making and the printing press (brought by the missionaries). transformR:ha ha you made a funny. |
chosen04:why don't you become a Gideon Orkar rather than spewing verbose on the net? talk the talk and walk the walk. |
A supposedly rich well off guy should have a better way to waste his time. |
OBVIOUS:Umm at the expense of the nation and more capable office holders? i don't buy that excuse. |

"The effect of this event will force the nations of the world to begin to see every Nigerian from a positive light and the country as a nation where bribery and corruption are frowned at, freedom of movement assured, security of life guaranteed", he said.where have i heard this before? hmm |
Katsumoto:all of the above https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-350215.0.html ![]() |
Katsumoto:Aloy_Emeka is too busy chasing booty in the celebrity section. |
JeSoul:you know the old school purists would come out saying it slows down the game and all that nonsense. |
