Cerebral damage only? are you forgetting the tons of other medical issues ex-pro football players suffer?
i know, Alzheimer and dementia aren't a joke.

we also forget guys like earl campbell who can barely walk.  Urlacher already has arthritis from playing football.  I imagine how he would look when he is 60.

These nuccas aint MEND. . .  . the real MEND are in talks with progressives like Wole Soyinka and Prof. Sabella Abidde. . . . FG must answer for these criminals. . . . MEND had tried their best to stop these boyz from sullying their name, but the nature of MEND's set-up was such that they had to hire different criminal groups at different times to blow-up oil installations. . . . now these criminals must answer their new oga's name. . . . and their new oga is FG.
interesting. The government made a big mistake thinking they could be rehabilitated.

I am not even thinking about that now. That was what my parents wanted and landed me in the hands of the fraudster. That is not in my plan for now. But if you ask me, I don’t mind being wife number 22 as long as there is money and peace.
wait who is the golddigger here?

True, but Hassan arguably didn't face any more stress than the thousands of US combat troops who have done 2 or 3 tours already and none of whom have opened fire on colleagues.
that's true. I also find it strange that hassan took money from the Army to attend medical school. If you hate the US so much, why enjoy it's benefits?

davidylan:
Why didnt Nidal Hassan simply move to Saudi Arabia?

I really dont understand these hypocrites who hate the US and STILL INSIST ON LIVING THERE!
i know right.

i know right.  What's the role of government if it can't provide for its citizens?

I see no reason why her legacy can't be discussed, in a tasteful manner of course.

PoliticsRe: Is Maryam Babangida Really Dead? by bawomolo(m): 7:19pm On Nov 16, 2009
Whose fault was or is that?
and I tell you this . . .no one on this forum is in any better position than she was. It is easy for everyone to cast the first stone but search yourself first pple. We are all guilty!!
How have u tried to improve the situation in nigeria? how many homesless people have you helped or donated money to? how many orphaned kids out there do you really pay attention to? Maryam died, so did 2000 more people in the world.
I don't get it, how does I donating to charity (which i have before) change the fact that the babangida regime with the help of programs such as Mariam's NGO embezzled money.    She represents an era of excessive flamboyance by first ladies who feign an interest in the lives of women and kids (where is her organization now).  we may all be guilty but most of us would never be in a position of power similar to that of the deceased and her husband.   She stood by her husband and their legacies are tied together.

poor or not poor, they are still in a better place than Nigeria. . . we can still learn a thing or 2 from them.
That was ma point.
America is in a better place because it's able to accept the mistake of it's leaders.   The likes of Bernie Madoff are rottenness in American jails while the likes of IBB are party chieftains.   What are we going to learn if you let tradition stop us from judging the dead?

DOYINDAMUS IS BACK  cool cool cool

I know that means they have to beat the Colts.
see this fraudster. I thought the demise of maddoff would have scared you out of this business grin

JeSoul:
I can think of a few more Bears that need to be chased outta town cool
word, it's house cleaning this offseason. That defense line should just be thrown into lake michigan.

We saw what Young could do in his first season. The question is whether he can do it consistently, over a long undeniable stretch and maintain his focus on football. There's a reason he was benched in the first place.
let's not get too happy. that TD-INT is looking anorexic right now. There's not much he can do when the best wide receiver is justin gage huh

Or maybe you have that the other way round? . . . qbs have been the ones killing buffalo? The Eagles are not using him, unless they're silently waiting on McNabb to get injured again.
with that Offensive line and coach Dick Jauron (the clown that was chased from the bears)? Maybe Vick can use his speed to perform miracles but good luck getting TO to play with a run-first QB.

I see Vince young is playing well, the resurrection of black jesus grin
PoliticsRe: Is Maryam Babangida Really Dead? by bawomolo(m): 4:46pm On Nov 16, 2009
She had no fault. tell that to God cause he created her that way. Whether some people lost their parents due to lack of funds for the hospital bills . . .ask God about that cos he made things that way. I am not saying that she is any better than all the other dead people but pple don't need to disrespect the dead in that manner.
I guess Bernie madoff had no fault also, God created him that way right. I agree the dead shouldn't be disrespect but it's no surprise people have mixed feelings about this. She ended up dying at the mercy of an health care system her husband failed to provide during his tenure. Who knows if she could have had an earlier diagnosis if Nigeria had a solid heath care system?

Busta:
Imagine what America would like today is everyone was still holding on to what the white people did to the blacks in terms of segregation and racism.

The people that started all these are dead and gone, so are the first slaves in America. . .life goes on!!
poor analogy considering America has tried to fix his flaws (civil rights bill, affirmative action), Nigeria still feels the wounds of Babanginda regime till this day, Maryam Babangida was also alleged to have embezzled money through her charity program.

It seems Bellichick is losing a bit of his lustre. . .

I actually did not have a problem with the call to go for it and I think
Faulk got the forward progress for the first down.

But to have used their timeouts and not be able to challenge. . .  tongue tongue tongue
word. I won't downplay the pats though.

JeSoul:
I guess we can all start taking the likes of Cincy serious now . . . sweeping the defending champs is an impressive feat.

And start sticking a fork in the likes of the Eagles . . . just when it seems they're poised to take off, the sputter and spill their guts all over the ground. Vick should go to Buffalo jare . . .
qb goes to die in buffalo, JP Losman, Bledsoe, trent edwards?? Vick might as well retire and get a construction job.
