See we have so many software developers who just learnt how to code and are good at it but they refused to get other Necessary skills to go with it like NETWORKING!!!! see , I just helped a software developer with less than 1yr experience who has applied for lots of jobs on LinkedIn, get a job even though I'm still yet to be a software developer... The little network I have can give me a job but I don't have the skill yet....of which I'm currently studying JavaScript....

Software developers should know that coding alone isn't all you need... You need other skills like NETWORKING , the Act of salary Negotiations etc.

I just had to let him know because I’m a UI/UX Designer but I’m not working for the agency only contracts here and there and most times I see the documentation of the clients entire budget and how this greedy oga and one other guy will share 80% of the money and give the remaining to the unexposed developers, after my conversations, all the developers left him and he was dumbfounded.

I once had a conversation with a mobile app developer with 2+ years experience working for a software agency in Nigeria non remote job mon-fri and he’ll be coding lots of app per month for a pay of about 120k while the oga will be collecting the contract of $3000-$4000 per app. The dude had no idea how remote jobs work and how much his mates are earning in dollars, two days after our conversation he resigned straight up.

This is a good question. Though they might have designed it this way so you can easily turn off your phone in case your phone freezes or a rogue app hijacks your phone.
Also remember that a thief can easily remove your sim making it hard to track even if s/he can’t turn it off.

In the other hand, there's an app that does that for jailbroken phones(not encouraged) through Cydia.
You can also set up your iPhone so that you can’t turn on airplane mode from the Lock Screen.

Nice, your explanation makes sense and cydia has always been a life saver for some of us that’s known about jailbreaking for years now but for others who don’t care or are not really tech savvy, this is an important security feature that needs to be added, About removing the sim from the iphone ,what’s the point of iPhones from xs upwards having the e-sim feature then. Apple just like making its user beg for something for years before implementing them. You can’t turn off most of the latest Samsung phones without a passcode including the airplane mode and data. With the find my iPhone feature, the chances of someone getting his phone back If it was stolen is very slim, it only works well if you misplaced your phone or don’t have an idea where you dropped it last.

Till today I still don’t understand why Apple will let iPhones to be to be turned off without putting in the passcode or turn on/off data or airplane mode without passcode. If the phone can’t be turned off or the data then it’ll be easy to track early enough not waiting till the thieves connect to the internet first

In my own experience, There is a store called C & C Trading in computer village, avoid that store at all cost, they sell neat iPhones with 100% battery health, they’ll give you one week warranty but immediately after a week your battery health will be down to 93% after two weeks 85%, u already know the rest. Their new phone are faulty used phones with hardware problem that is repackaged with the box and sold as new. They also sell uk used that are neat but faulty. I’ve returned a phone before and randomly selected another which was also faulty, returned it again and still got another faulty one that’s when I knew all the phones were damaged but looks good on the outside. Buy new phones from trusted stores like slot even if it means paying higher at least you’ll have peace of mind. I’ll tell anyone that wants to get a used phone in cv to just avoid any Iphone that’s 3 years or older.

School isn’t for everyone or maybe they didn’t find a lasting solution to his problem. But I’m sure if he was in Nigeria he probably would have passed waec by now�.. if you know you know.
