🏆 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier ⚽ Nigeria🇳🇬 1-1 Egypt🇪🇬 [Etabo 59' | Salah 90+] 🗓️: 25th of March, 2016 🏟️: Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna 👩👩👧👦: Stadium Capacity: 16,000 | Attendance: 50,000 The moment we'll never forget in the history of Nigeria football and Afcon when 50,000 fans turned up and packed into a stadium with a capacity of just 16,000.😲 The huge turnout at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium came as a result of the Kaduna State government making entry for the match free. 34,000 extra fans scaled the floodlights, screens and other temporary infrastructure in order to catch a glimpse of the action on the pitch. Oghenekaro Etebo had put the Super Eagles in front on the hour and looked like claiming a crucial win as the match entered the dying minutes. But with Godfrey Oboabona having limped off injured, Egypt’s players refused to kick the ball out and Mohammed Salah was able to score after being played in by Ramadan Sobhy which kept the Pharaohs on top of Group G. With the draw, the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon. Alex Iwobi was also brought on as a late substitute by the Nigeria coach, Samson Siasia – an appearance that means he can no longer represent England on the international stage. #ATMSports https://www.facebook.com/100063969317784/posts/pfbid02Q8rshMeH6p3tiLSe9rM8Je2u57Ri9UyH9Xgns16TnRs4HoaNjJu7fYnfmcg1ekF3l/?app=fbl

Why is it that military coups are mostly organised and carried out by Army officers alone? Like I have never heard that a military coup was headed by a Naval or an air force general. Is it that Navy and air force officers are more civil than their army counterpart? Or that the orientation of army officers is different from those two? What's your take on this? |

Dyke15:stop deceiving yourself, they are all the same, just that you won't be able to differentiate them because they all wear same camouflage. Both the army, Navy and air force do mount road blocks with same mentality and uniform. and most times when Navy and air force personnel misbehaves outside their barracks/bases, we all concludes that the culprits are army personnel because of the camo. I have friends in the navy and air force so I know what am saying. |
Good evening nairalanders. Why do Nigerians believe that you must have to cut your baby's hair (especially male babies) immediately they reach 1 year? Is there any theory here? People have been suggesting that I cut my boy's hair when he reaches 1 year which is some days from now, he has much hair which I plan to maintain and keep in a good shape. |
This is why the world cup is considered to be the biggest stage in football |

For the first time after a very long time, I see nairalanders on the side of the Nigerian Army. Very strange. [sub][/sub] |
phorget:yes |
Good morning nairalanders. Please ignore any typo error. I have a son of about 11 months now who still finds it difficult to stand holding objects, like chairs, table or bed, immediately I place him on those stuffs for him to stand, he starts shaking in fear and cries out loud, he gets too scared when placed on a standing position to hold those mentioned stuffs. But he can stand confidently when his back is placed on the wall (even for a long time), he can also stand firmly and even try to walk when holding my both hands, my wife took him to the hospital but the doctor told her to allow him, that he will adapt when he wants. My question is. At 11 months, why does he still get scared when placed to hold chairs, table etc? I understand that some babies don't crawl at all before walking, he can stand firmly while holding someone's hands but refuses to do so while hold other stuffs due to fear by shaking and crying loudly as if he saw something scary. Am concerned that's why am here. Please should I just ignore him and stop trying to force him to hold those things or I should continue not minding how he cries and shakes? He is very healthy, plays a lot. Why the delay to crawl, and stand holding chairs, bed, table |
Jokerman:that's why the world cup is referred to as the biggest state in football |
