Oga there are checkpoints in the North. Please don't come here and mislead the people. I am a southerner (a civilian) but based in the North. Mind you, I have never seen an immigration checkpoint in the south but it's scattered everywhere in the North. But for the issue of orientation as regards to security personnel, I will suggest you ask various leaders in these regions. I think every governor has the right to caution security heads in their states on the rules of engagement and how personnel should handle those they are governing (just my thought)...

(no mind my Grammer abeg).. gentlemen similar thing happened to me some years back (2018). my younger sis called me (with her Small Itel phone) and informed me that a guy whom she believed was a cultist approached her and demanded for her phone number which she refused. the guy then slapped her and forcefully collected her Android phone from her. I just laughed and asked her where she was and she told me she was around her lodge. the next day I entered the school with my friends/colleagues (all members of the armed forces) and went straight to my sister's lodge, after hearing what happened from from her and her friends. i asked them if they new the idiot which they said yes and also gave me info about him. the next day I went in search of him and caught him in a beer palor together with his friends. I asked him to provide my sister's phone immediately, but he proved stubborn and threatened to beat me up. lol. the baba no know say my guys don round everywhere. I was just laughing at him. before I could know what's up, my colleagues had started mending his cultists friends around. I took the bastard to the female lodge and made him swim the most dirtiest gutters. while I was Kparufin the idiot, my sis called me that a lady had returned her phone to her. omo since that day. if I enter that school, na senior man the idiot dey call me till my sis graduate.
