Hello house, can my uncle drop his company’s bank account for me because I want to use him as my sponsor. I used his personal bank statement in my previous application that was denied tho my GCMC note is yet to arrive. We are not the same surname. Since I used his personal bank statement in my previous application he said I will use both his company and personal statement now, will that be enough? His personal bank statement that I used his closing account then was 15M. Please I need suggestions. @Makano |

makano: Hello Bayo
Yes he can, but be mindful of Lump sum..
I will advise your Dad do a Deed of Gift for you with the attestation of a notary public...
Also try and pay the first semester fee with the submission of Vital sponsorship documents.. (You can see these documents in the timeline of approved Applicants)...
Peace Thanks boss man |

Plannie22: I suggest your dad pays the required sum into your account. Execute a deed of gift with your dad and have a notary public attest to the deed of gift. Attach a birth certificate and maybe pictures of you together that would suffice. That way they only see the money (gift) he paid to your account and there would be no need for him to bring his account statement. I used a similar method. In my case, it was my sister that gave me the money (gift). So it was just my account statement and the deed of gift that I submitted as proof of personal funds in addition to the scholarship from the school. Okay, I understand your point but my dad don’t have an international passport can we just use his birth certificate and other documents? |

[quote author=Bayor65 post=105886812]Good evening house, I have a question. Can my dad loan 10M from a cooperative and put it inside his bank account so that I can use it for my study. I will print his bank statement. My question now is this, can we go ahead and loan the money? And hope the loan will not be a red flag for the VO in charge of my application? He is having 3 or 4M in his account before, so the total plus the money we will loan should be 13 or 14M. N.B: My application was refused this month I used my uncle bank statement we are not related and we do not bear the same surname. @makano |

Feyisharah: This is what I got I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. makano: If truly he was the one paid for your undergraduate fees, then you should have a record of such transaction via bank transfer.. His name will reflect in the transaction history as the creditor....
Also I will advise you work on the family/relationship tree, if you have any past pictures of both of you or pictures of himself with your parents or pictures of him with yourself and siblings e.t.c just to show he is closely related to you and your family , that will also convince the VO..
Peace That’s true. Thanks |

makano: Hello Bayo
Your sponsor must proof that really he or she is ready and committed to sponsor you all though your study in Canada, he must state the amount he will be committing to your studies, well being, accommodation e.t.c, and a signed and stamped letter of Sponsorship of your spomsor from a recognized High court in Nigeria comes to play here....
Now in your case, you need more than just what you mentioned in your post cos he is neither your Dad or mum, you must show your relationship with your said sponsor (your Uncle) considering the fact that he doesn't have the same surname with you....
You must explain the relationship tree of yourself and your Uncle, has your said uncle sponsored you in your academics in the past? Or has he had any commitment to your well being in the past. all this will have a positive impact to convince the VO that truly he will be responsible for you while you study in Canada...
Note, you will need to convince the Visa officers more for any sponsor aside your biological parents, the Visa officer should be convinced of the commitment and readiness of a 3rd party Sponsor//
It will end in praise..
Peace Thank you so much bro. My question again is this, since my sponsor is not the same surname, if he writes a letter, tax clearance and passport data page and affidavit of sponsorship from the high court, and I include all the undergraduate school fees payment claiming he is the one that sent me the money, his name can’t be on the receipt since I am the student do you think that would or should convince the VO enough? |

makano: Hello tourphland
Its not compulsory for an applicant who is not self sponsored to drop his or her SOA, but it is necessary..
But if you are a Self sponsored applicant, it is mandatory you drop your statement of account..
I personally know of some applicants who are not self sponsored who didn't drop their SOA but still got their Visa..
But please note, your Sponsor must be more than capable to see you through your schooling in Canada and also he or she must show readiness and commitment to sponsor you all through your study in Canada... Once your sponsor can show this, then you are good to go..
But to be on a safer side, I will advise applicants to also submit their SOA
Peace Hello, readiness and commitment how? I am so so sorry to ask, I need answers. I used one of my uncle though we not related and we are not the same surname but he gave me his statement of account, he wrote a letter, passport data page and his tax clearance which I thought it was okay, that is why i asked the question earlier. Please i need answers. |

OCT202020: Best advice won't be possible until the notes arrival.
Despite that,I think your POF needs repackaging. I'm certain that one of the refusal reasons would have been fund related. A 15m in a third party sponsor's account without any financial commitment, sometimes won't fly.
Immediate family sponsorship is easier, infactit's considered the best, Ioan can be sourced from anywhere and I'll advise it should go into your tuition payment while the living expenses is paid into your account. It's a good thing that dad and mum are gainfully employed, any other form of income source; business ,investments or properties will make it more beautiful.
But like I earlier said, the gcms note will be our map. And I sent you a mail. Thanks |

OCT202020: So so sorry about this bro, you've actually taken the right step by ordering for the gcms note. We've got a whole lot of gurus right here who will come to our aid once the note is out.
Please stay strong, what God can't do doesn't exist. Thanks. I wanna ask. I used one of my uncle tho we are not related but he wrote a letter, gave me his bank statement closing account 15M, gave me his passport and tax clearance. I guess this might have effect since we not related and why spend so much money on me. So I’m thinking if my parents could be, am suggesting if they go to there micro finance banks because that is where they use for there salary money, if those ones could loan them a reasonable amount of money and again all my siblings are working our last born is writing his project. So I guess it won’t be why spend all the amount on me alone. I’m just thinking and I want advice please. Thanks |

OCT202020: I've acknowledged your mail sir and I'll try as much as possible to address any concern raised.
STILL, I strongly opine that issues should be shared here (if it's nothing too personal though), that way, we're opened to different and most times a better angle of views.
Just my thought though but all the same, you're welcome bro. Thanks man, I was refused yesterday but I have ordered my GCMC note to know the exact problem. Thank you so much and I will keep in touch |

mastersammy: You can order your GCMS note in 2ways,either you use someone that stays within Canada to order it or you use any of the companies in Canada that orders Gcms note for people worldwide to get your own. Just incase if you don't have any friends or relative in Canada to order the note for you,I suggest you go for the other option. I recommend you choose either Getgcms.com or Gcmsbuddy.com to order the note , since you have no one in Canada. Thanks, should I order GCMS basic Or GCMS documents? Thanks |
