For people going for PGD. And you think your bank balance is not fat enough. I'll advice you to look away from Toronto and secure admission to colleges in the Atlantic part of Canada such as

Holland college. PEI
Nova Scotia community college
College of the north Atlantic. NewF and Labrador
Newbrunswick community college

Average tuition is 8-9k per year compared to colleges in Toronto that ranges from 14-15k per year..

Lol , Madam Bbclue! Study permit questionnaire is meant to be filled with pen. Even at the VFS office you will be instructed to fill them by hand and not electronically(online). It might be fillable online, but pen is the ideal method here.

When I submitted mine.....I filled mine online...

You are not allowed to fill this form with a system. Simply print out the last 2 pages (18-19) of the IMM5832E form which is the study questionnaire and fill them with a pen.

Hello everyone, Please I need your assistance. I am planning to travel to Barbados on vacation. This is to enable me work on my travel history (I have had denials at about 3 embassies because of that). I chose barbados because it is visa free to Nigeria and also an opportunity for me to visit that part. However, i learnt I will have to get a[b] transit visa[/b] since my booking shows im gonna have to transit tru canada [/b]airport. Please can u all help me with this info:
1. How to go about the application
2. IMPORTANT...[b].how long it takes for the embassy to issue a transit visa (because i know their visitor visa takes about 3 months)
3. Likely requirements because I was once denied a VISITOR visa but Im hoping to apply for TRANSIT this time. (Hope my refusal doesn't mean anything here since im not going directly to canada)

I have checked VFSGlobal website but i didn't see any info on transit visa application procedure.

Like the last week I travelled to south Africa for a seminar we have a stop over at Nairobi....since the next flight is the next day .me and other of my group went to there embassy and told them we will like to move round that we need a transit visa...we paid 20dollars and we did biometric.. And they stamp transit visa for us...that was for visiting visa...the two transit visa I have is when I have stop over I usually get them in DAT country we stop and connect to other flight

Since have been reading on this thread, I could see that your patience is worth of emulating, your contributions have tremendously helped many people on this forum, and I myself have gained a lot from your post, as you have answered my queries many times too. However, I would like to tell you that, not everyone that criticize you hates or don't like you. I don't really know why people gave 36likes to the Man that accused you on here, but my observation was that, I always see in your write up saying " I help " . To me, it might be because of this. People don't really like it mentioning it yourself publicly that you help them, it looks so proud of you to them. Let people come out themselves to giving testimony.

You can go ahead and send it to me. But there will be a delay in getting response from me as there are many SOP's I'm yet to review from prospective applicants. If you're not in a hurry you can send it down, while you get a response from me by next week.

Before sending it to me, make sure your SOP reflect the following and should be addressed in each paragraphs to avoid repetition.

1-) Describe your academic background briefly.
2-) Why you choose Canada not Nigeria.
3-) The school.
4-) The program of choice.
5-)How you intend to finance your studies in Canada without working.
6-) Your home ties.
7-) What you intend to achieve at the end of the program and how it might benefit you in the future. (how your proposed course would increase your career prospects in Nigeria).

1)...You can add brief brief history of your family background and what motivated you to chose that program you r going for.....
2...Describe your academic background
3...why Canada. ..webometric is saying about the ranking of the school...The program of choice
4...Training. .Awards Certificate if any
5...Your corporate social responsibility
6...Financial breakdown.....

Your GCMS is pointing at your Letter of intent(SOP), I can't see home ties here nor insufficient funds. So therefore, work more on constructing a convincing SOP. It's clearly stated on the note that the information you provided is insufficient enough. I can also see that your intended program is reasonable in control with your previous/job role, so you don't have problem with academic progression. Provide a rational explanation to how your proposed course would increase your career prospects in Nigeria, why Canada not Nigeria and you will be fine.

Yes I don't think they cross checks previous documents and letters. The only thing I know the visa officer does is go directly to Global Case Management System (GCMS) file and cross check the previous refusal grounds and Notes made by the previous visa officer. Each application is treated afresh and are accompanied with new application fees. The only details they keep/store/save on their portfolio is the details on the IMM study permit forms and not previous letters. So I don't see anything bad if the applicant decides to reedit or add valuable information he missed in his previous application.

Come to think of it, haven't you thought about this:
Why is it that some applicants on their first application, they use a Sponspor and claim its their maternal/paternal uncle etc... and got refused. Then, in the second application the applicant decides to change sponspor and use another person with different name from the previous one and still claim that the sponspor is maternal/paternal. At the end of everything, they get their visa approved. If they really go through letters, such application was supposed to be charged for MISREPRESENTATION, but it wasn't. There are large volume of applications and a Visa officer won't stress him/her self going through previous letters.(It's not done).

My advise to the applicant is that you don't change/alter the employment history stated on the previous IMM forms, but can go ahead to change/reedit/add their letters and CV's using the same EMPLOYMENT HISTORY there is no harm in that.

This is my intake Sir, Any valuable opinion will be appreciated.

To me am sure cic keep previous documents...submitted...you can Add some information that was not in the previous info in the new information you which to submit
