Some people will never comments on the progress of one application
But they will wait till one small issue before they pop up.....
Am sure even the guru's in this thread knows the truth about that BAN...but nobody will say the truth because no body want another to progress |

Frankrobbn1: Who told you he wasn't served a procedural fairness letter to explain himself prior the ban? Please let's stop giving people high hopes here, the young man was given a 5 years ban and I don't think he can do anything to avert it. Frankrobben.....if you can remembered Senarato ..just quoting the name...he has the same issue..he contacted a lawyer...the lawyer said he can reapply of which he later did....but was refused and a letter was sent with his refusal note saying he is to serve 5 years ban...... Let the matter rest before someone will abused you...let him reapply....who knows God can make the vo happy on the day of his application and visa approval |

mightyola: Best of my knowledge, as long as you don't have plans of leaving the airport and going into the city, you don't need a transit Visa. You would just have to wait in the airport. There would be free wifi, so charge your phone and your laptop to keep you company. Best of Luck In some airport they have transit visa spot...he can just tell them he will like to stroll out and they will issue him transit visa for a token...that is wat I did..in some country |

Naijaforeigner: Let me start by thanking all the gurus of this great thread, you guys rock. Thank you so much jnyuwa02 and Frankrobbn1 and the guy that made that list on the first page, God bless you guys. I make a special prayer for you today Jnyuwa02, as you have been a blessing to many People on here, God Almighty will perfect everything that concerns you in Jesus name (amen).
I started my journey late June and had to read close to 50 pages of this thread within a week.
I got all documents and applied July 10. My application to Canada was a last minute try. I had a 2:1 in business but the only school I could find as at late June was Fanshawe college and I picked PGC logistics and supply chain management (LSCM), got admission and paid first term fees.
Documents submitted - Paper Application - submitted July 10
All IMM forms
My personal statement of account - mum transferred over £16,000 in 3 tranches via an agent.
A sponsors letter from my mum - I actually wrote this letter for my mum ( I saw sample on the first page) and strongly emphasised how she has been the one who sent me to do BA in UK and paid for 4 years without owing. I made sure this letter was not more than a page and straight to the point. - Letter of explanation (LOE) from me - I detailed the course I was going for, focused on how I have had a good record in the UK, no criminal convictions and always obeyed the rules. Also mentioned how I never missed classes for 4 years and completed my studies without any issue. I stressed on how I love challenges, stating how I moved from Nigeria to UK alone (culture change, new people et al) and how I would love to try a new challenge in Canada and try education over there and then concluded with, once I am done with the PGC LSCM in Canada, I would come back and take over my mums company. p.s my mum owns a company in Nigeria.
I wrote my LOE myself using the sample on the first page and then sent it to my brother who is a PHD holder to proof read for errors. I Told him I am satisfied with the content all I needed was proof reading for errors. If I remember correctly, I made sure my LOE was not more than 600 words.
- birth certificate, my passport page, mothers passport page, C of O of my mothers house, CAC documents for my mothers business, proof of payment of first term tuition fees, BA certificate, transcripts.
All these documents were photocopied and no original was collected at London Canada VFS office.
- no medicals (not needed for applicants in UK) and no Police certificate.
The things that scared me were;
(1) I forgot to explain the lump sum. I honestly cannot tell how I forgot to explain this after reading this word for word before submitting my documents.
(2) Difficult convincing the VO in my SOP why I would be leaving UK with a 2:1 with the option of doing masters here in UK in a university but decided to do PGC in Canada when the fees were almost the same? To make matters worse, the course is a very common course in UK in almost all Universities. Infact, my application was screaming this guy wants to run away.
(3) I am a matured student - 31 years.
(4) I also forgot to show my USA visa (still valid till Dec 2019), Dubai stamped passport page.
After I submitted, I fasted day and night for at least 9 days. I have never fasted more than a day in UK in my 4 years of being here. This whole process taught me many things I will never forget.
Finally let me say this, on 10/08/18 (Last week Friday), I listened to a convention online by Pastor EA Adeboye and once he was done with his sermon, he asked everyone to stand up for prayers. Just before he asked people to pray, he paused and suddenly said "the lord said there is someone here, that one breakthrough you need for your joy to be full, receive it. Something in me told me that word was for me, I jumped up, claimed it and kept on praying with it.
I sincerely pray for as many that are still hoping on God for their visas, your joy would also be full before this month runs out if you believe. this whole application is just Mercy of God. p.s I am not saying don't put in work, put in maximum work, put all documents and then pray.
Thank you to wheyme, galala123, lagos2canna, bismo, ezriela, mightyola, shizzleadedapo, bbclue and every other person. I am so grateful. Amen ooo I keyed into it... |

I have a question and I'm hoping my people here can drop there own perspectives on it.
Assuming I've been working for myself for like 7 years.. No company registration, no pay slip... How else can I prove that regarding a study gap .
Thanks . Kindly pm me.....will tell you the procedure |

NeyofeedNigEnt: Nigerians always look desperate! Why paying school fee when u never get your visa. Fee payment doesn't guarantee approval. It even looks desperate to some VO Hmmmmm oga/Madam Abeg read before you comment....this is and never a sign of desperation but to show that he / she can afford to pay the tuition fee and beside Most of the school in Canada asked for part payment / full payment of tuition before so someone seat will be reserved..... Even a time vo do asked students to pay school fee when they are convinced about there application.... So this is not near sign of desperation.... Good day |

mightyola: First I doubt that CIC will carry out a physical check on all applications they receive, maybe in some cases where they doubt the authenticity of the documents and need to verify. But going back to the draw board, whether anyone hoards information about their application, if am familiar with the anthem here, is to be honest with all documents to be submitted when applying. Perhaps if the applicant was refused based on fake documentation, it wont be about hoarding information but why did he take that path. Just my two cents Exactly......that is my point |

kpizzle: I suspect people are hoarding information and only coming out with the true picture after been approved. Well, we can't fault them since it is to their prerogative to share or not but I think it will be beneficial to be open and reduce the brain work the gurus are doing. Because why am saying this is because....some people forge land documents....and what if embassy now go there and discover is wrong information |

jnyuwa02: What kind of people showed up at your address? Whites of blacks? Embassies are known to do such random physical checks. Recently I talked to a proprietor of a school who told me an embassy sent some men to come check the validity of transcripts submitted by an applicant. This is the first time I heard Canada does such physical checks. Please can you explain more what these people wanted from you? Sorry to say..... Before now....you know that embassy sent some people to verify document....why not say it before now...not until someone said embassy sent 2 people....hmmmmmmm it is well........ |

henricson: I'll like to first apologize to people who may get angry that the alot of repetitive questions are being asked. I tried my best to get information from old threads and the CIC website.
This is my first time applying for a Canadian study permit. Got an admission to humber college for a graduate program in project management slated for the winter program January 2019. I have an MBA from Ahmadu Bello Zaria, and b.sc in banking and finance. I have been working for almost 3 years in customer care for a telecommunications company. That's for that.
So far, I realised one can apply online and just upload required documents. I hope it's ok to take pictures of documents and upload.
For clarification, required documents to upload online are, acceptance letter from university, birth certificate, police clearance (yet to be called to pick this up), upfront medical clearance (booked appointment date at prime medical is 31/07/2018), SOA from sponsor plus letter of introduction, plus canadian citizenship page of sponsor, employment letter and payslip of sponsor, letter of introduction from work place plus 6months payslip (learnt payslip not important though), employment letter, Nigerian passport (data page), proof of first semester tuition payment.
One last question, I guess visa application fee is paid immediately after application online, and later on the visa office calls for biometrics
Please once again, I apologise for taking us back You will have to scanned all documents....firstly you will upload imm forms 1294E...family information form...and temporary visitor form....then there is a place they wrote.. Client information were you will upload your SOP....BSC certificate etc. ...then you still upload....sponsored financial document with your own all together...and there after your data page of passport separately...and passport photograph... |

joe10: My simple advise is that you use the paper route because 'what will be will always be' regardless of the type of application method chosen. There is so much delay on the online route which does not guarantee TRV approval at the end. So traumatising, Imagine someone whose application was tied down for 12 weeks without a medical call and the outcome was refusal. Mine was delayed for 9 weeks, If i didn't send messages across who knows, could have been 12 weeks as well. Paper route refusal messages are always sent within a month, we have seen cases on this forum where applicants get TRV refusal messages in 2-3 weeks after application submission, at least such applicant has ample time to request for his/her GCMS note before reapplying in the next one or two months.
Also, using Paper route your forms will be thoroughly vetted by VFS attendants to ensure all I's and T's are properly dotted and crossed. You can visit VFS office and submit same day provided you get early enough.
I hope this helps. I agreed with u |

tonnymexx: Hello guru in the house,
My TRV study permit online application was refused this evening after 12 weeks of submission. Am weak, I don't know what to do next. And classes resume on 5th of September..
Reasons:
1 travel history 2 family ties in canada and in country of residence 3 purpose of visit
Am weak, I don't know what to do next and classes resume on 5th of September. I don't know what to write to satisfy this people again.
Travel history I make used of my virgin passport. Is it compulsory to have travel history before making application? I read some people receiving their visa with passport why my own different?
Family tie what family tie should I input am not married and my dad doesn't have landed property, he only has a company.. my course of study doesn't go in line with his business or Should I say I will come back home to take over his business while my course of study is not in line with business? Which other family ties should I use.
Purpose of visit. I don't really have idea about it.. please guru in the House should help me out abeg! Am confuse..
If I should reapply should I use the same SOA I used during my first application or I should another one? Am saying this because SOA was not part of the reasons I was denied.
I could be reached via tonyumeh25@gmail.com... I need help!
Thanks It is well...it hurt but you need to refire...kindly order your gcmsnote immediately....to see the proper reasons for the refusal....well I will recommend you look for frankrobben post on how to tackle common refusal reasons on this thrend.... Travel history is not that compulsory for study visa Purpose of visit....was your previou study in line with the present one you want to study....to me i think your sop need to address this issues raised by v.O....and did you include your sibling birth certificates.... You need to reprint another statement of account from the same sponsor you used in your first application... my 2 cent |

makano: Hello house, am about re-applying buh there is something confusing me in one of the form that has the employment start date nd end date. In my last application, I left the end date blank since I was still gonna come back to my place of work after my studies. Buh when I got to VFS, the official that attended to me said nothing should be left blank, so I was made to fill another form putting an end date by force. Now my question. Won't this have an implication on my application or wont I be contradicting mysef by putting an employment end date, when actually I stated it boldly in my SOP that I will be coming back to my company to continue working. Please those of you that have gotten ur Visa, did u fill the employment end date? Ur response will be appreciated as I wanna re-apply soon. The officer at vfs was right ....the employment end date can be the date you fill the form last or the date before your submission....it's doesn't matter ooooo.....even the visa officer knows you are still working till date you submit...you can't leave it blank |
