I got our Visa approvals some hours ago.

I submitted my SOWP application with my 2 kids (ages 5 and 3) through Paper route
On 20th of June 2016
Medical call: 2nd July 2016
Medicals done: 8th of July
Medicals passed: I didn’t know when we passed the medicals bcuz I tried linking my account for weeks to no avail.
Approval mail: 9th September 2016
Documents submitted:
• Serious Prayers!
• All CIC forms
• Letter of Introduction/Consent from my wife
• Study permit she got at POE
• Wifes Data page
• Wifeys Canadian Visa Page
• Letter of support from the university , Stating my wife is a student there, fully funded and she needs her family (optional and it depends on your spouse HOD or skol, some don’t give)
• Unconditional letter of admission from the university.
• Photocopy of student id card
• Wifeys employment letter within the university
• Wifeys bank statement both Nigerian and Canadian

My Documents
• SOP (thanks Huzzie)
• Kids NPC birth Certificates
• My CV with my certificates
• Police Character Certificate (Expired 4 days before I submitted)
• Car particulars
• Marriage Certificate
• Appointment letter
• Reference letter from my office
• Letter of explanation
• Bank Statements
• Siblings Birth certificates

Please what do these messages mean?

1. The requested documents are received on , and had been resubmitted to the CVO for processing. Kindly contact the Visa Application centre for further instructions.

after i tracked it i got dis:The requested documents are received on 08/09/2016, and had been resubmitted to the CVO for processing.

I applied for SOWP 20th June with my kids..

We got medical call 10 days after..

The embassy sent back our Passports to abuja for us to use as means of identification at the hospital..

we did that and Abuja said they will send it back..

We didnt hear from the embassy for 6 weeks after medicals..

I was bothered and i sent an email to Lagos which the acknowledged..

Now that I am getting dis message from VFS.. are they just sending back our passport to Lagos since 7 weeks plus

Please help out my people!!!

My application has been approved today after 20 weeks. I hope this will encourage all TRV hopefuls and to remind you that with God nothing is impossible. If God be for us who can be against us.

Date of Submission (paper): 18th April, 2016
Medical mail: 30th Aug. (after 19 weeks)
Medical done: 31st Aug
Medical passed update: 3rd Sept
Approval mail: 7th Sept (School resumes same day 7th Sept)

It took a week to approve my Visa from the date of medical ( that was God's speed).

I thank God for His grace. God will do it to all of you just as he did for me.

reminds me of a story of a guy that got a lady pregnant a fuel attendant.. meanwhile he has a beautiful babe a graduate that he was to marry..

when the fuel attendant heard his plans for his marriage..

she went straight to the church the guy was supposed to marry and reported the case...

the wedding was put on hold...

he served his suspension in the church.. he will soon get married to the graduate babe while the fuel attendant still dey carry the baby..

I truly wonder what will become of the child when he pops out!!!

No. 2 says maybe it has not been entered to a system
how long should that take bcuz I have tried everything about linking my application..
and its on the 9th week..

is it possible it hasnt been entered into their system.. tho i have been mailed for medicals

pls help us with the link so that we can read it till the end to see more reasons..

I have already filed to terminate my PGC admission and planning to get my refund back.i will struggle hard for a masters admission.i am just devastated now.To me the VO's reason was just an excuse since he couldn't lay hands on something else. This is heart cracking to me

They should be calculating the equivalent of the exchange rate as at the time the application was submitted!!!

I tink i understand y funds was tickd: official rate of canadian dollars is around 240. Using dat 29200×240= 7,008,000. funds available wasnt enough. An increase in funds will do the trick.
