dayokanu:Sorry to butt in, just thought I'd add; head hunters nearly got me at Ogidi (FGC Ilorin). Had snuk out through hole in fence on the way into town, heard beautiful music; being the curious type, went to investigate. . . Saw satan! By this time, my friends were half a league away, had to run faster than Usain Bolt. Thank God, I'm still posting to NL today. Ilorin has its "seasons". I wonder if its still that way? @Gators ![]() |
Becomrich0:You are right becomerich, Jonathan should have come to see the satelliete pictures in Canada!!! Damn! "He would loss!" So Obasanjo's children have been coming to see satellite pictures? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!! Has any doctor seen your satellite pictures yet? |
redsun:Exactly! The bolded is what excites the BBC, those people know how to say things without words. Thats something for them to laugh at Africans about with their id!ot friends. . . But, even worse, an African provided the pics. ![]() |
Is it right for EFCC raids to be so loud? Surely something is wrong with this area boy style of operations. ![]() Why is there neither class nor tact in govt approaches to everyday issues? Its not just the EFCC, its police, "big manism" etc etc. |
EFCC raids NFA Sports Jul 12, 2010 Share | By Fidelis Ebu Uneasy calm has enveloped the secretariat of the Nigeria Football Association as officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission yesterday raided the offices of the troubled NFA and made away with piles of files. The officials of the anti-graft agency arrived at the NFA secretariat in the morning hours and made straight for the accounts offices. A dependable source said the anti-graft agency may have gotten vital document on the over N900 million given to the football house to prosecute the recent 2010 World Cup in South Africa . Some top officials of the finance and accounts department were seen visibly shaken when the men and officials of the anti-graft agency were flipping through some of the files at the department. The calm looking EFCC officials would not volunteer statement about their findings so far from the files they have flipped through, before they took heaps of documents away. Remarkably, while the officials of the anti-graft agency were busy ransacking the finance and accounts department, members the Technical Committee of the interim Executive Committee of the NFA were holding their maiden meeting on the reformation of the new Eagles. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/07/12/efcc-raids-nfa/ |
Deep Soul:I would rather not, but if you check, you'll find that oyb just shamelessly follows me all over the place to start mindless wars. Maybe just I'll ignore him from now. |
oyb:Talk about confirmation of your thoroughly braindead state. I see, you are now becomeriches defender. Any surprise in that? |
^ I guess you are training your poor innocent kid to follow people around like a Shit fly too. ![]() Fool. Your own grey matter long since dissolved in your gas chamber. |
oyb:You will be doing that to your little baby. ![]() |
oyb: ![]() What a clown! Imagine someone that wants to send fellow Nigerians to the gas chamber calling others tribalists. Wonders shall never cease! ![]() So who is following who around, making demented posts about north this, north that eh? Poor, sad soul. If I wish to post anything about zoning, the North or whatever, there is absolutely nothing you can do. Its a free World. Anyways, keep hanging around every post I make, its good to know I have at least one fan. I'll do the autograph for you some day. Ode. Keep following me around like a little dog, its quite flattering. |
violent:Una go wound pesin o! ![]() |
oyb:Poor brainshifted dude. I guess those kids are paddling though the desert or Savannah? Or you think BBC knows the diffrerence? Keep to topic or exit. ![]() |
It is high time we started a protest letter against the BBC. ![]() whats their fixation? Its not like they are helping us in any way. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/10498873.stm

^ Thank you for the show, lets see you wait till old age. ![]() |
006:If you noticed, the person who posted did not ask the two stup!d questions you did. ![]() The OP wondered about the origin of the names "Ebele" and "Azikiwe", not the foolishness of whether Jonathan is Ekpeye or whatever. Na wa! |
Beaf just ignore this guy jo. .arguing with him is like talking to a wall.the funniest part is his ignorant of the topic.so why arguing with an ignorant ?
Abi o! The mugu just came in, and is "cleverly" waiting for people to come and answer the two foolish questions he has asked. na wa! |
006: Is it possible to ask more stup!d questions than the bolded? Even babies know that Jonathan is Ijaw. You're tired. ![]() |
006:And should I call you an ID!OT for engaging in a topic you have confessed to knowing zero about? ![]() 006: ![]() |
olodo . . .so what have you come up with now cuz i see you are still struggling with beaf,mr 2 know
Don't mind the quarrelsome dude. 006:I really don't appreciate arguments that aren't in the least bit important, like arguing over whether bread can be white or brown. Charlie, I said Jonathan is Nembe, if you have proof that he isn't please post it. Or if you have no point, sit down and watch. |
^ It is my opinion that Jonathan is Nembe. How does the above imply that the Nembe kings letter makes Jonathan a Nembe man? If you can prove he isn't Nembe, simply make your point. We are listening. As far as I know, Jonathan is from Ogbia because he was born there. In some political circles, he is held as Nembe. |
Wasnt religion a major role in that? Werent Hausas killing ppl they assumed were Christians?
You will find that, it is migrant Fulani's fighting for political rights in Jos and Jos indegenes accusing the Fulani of trying to lord it over them in their own homes. Pure tribalism on both sides. |
006: ![]() In the same post with the link to the letter, I wrote that it doesn't. |
If tribalism only exists on NL. I wonder what to call the killing of women and babies in Jos? Friendship? The simple truth of the matter is that, since the web is an anonymous place, a lot of people loose their inhibitions and tell it to your face. We can deny reality all we want, but facts like Jos, stare us right in the eye. |
Jarus:I tried and failed, its really hard to speak in Ennnggrrrrrrrrrrrrrissss! ![]() |
Mr Fire:I have seen it mentioned in Bayelsa politics, where some people were trying to sideline him as a Nembe minority who wasn't core Ijaw. I am finding it a bit difficult to actually pinpoint if his people were migrants or not and exactly how the a-Nembe thing plays, especially because of the distance as you've pointed out. |
Here is the origin of Uncle Joes Igbo name, "Azikiwe", as told by the King of Nembe land, His Majesty Nengi Josef Ilagha Mingi XII, Amanyanabo of Nembe; Even so, the paternal grandmother of this jolly good chap had a vision for her grandson. She called him Azikiwe, in the hope that the illustrious name would leave a political imprint of glory on his impressionable mind, and lead him to repeat the exploits of the Great Zik of Africa. The old woman did not hope in vain. Early in life, the lad marked himself apart from his peers. He was christened Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Today, many years after he took up chalk and slate, he holds a doctorate degree in Zoology and serves under President Umar Musa Yar’Adua as the first Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to emerge from the south-south geo-political zone in the 49-year history of Nigeria.http://www.waado.org/NigerDelta/Essays/ilagha/epistle_VP.htm Here is another article from the King of Nembe land, this time, it is a letter written at the height of the Yar Adua cabal crisis, imploring Goodluck Jonathan to come back home to his people. The editorial board of Waado.org is packed brimful with Ph.D's under the leadership of Peter P. Ekeh, Ph.D; there isn't a more authoritative source in the country. The only curious bit to me, is that it is difficult to ascertain if the Nembe King is writing as a fellow Ijaw man or because Jonathan is Nembe. One thing is sure though, he is from Ogbia (by place of birth). |
Mr Fire:Jonathan is Nembe, even though he is from Ogbia. Don't forget that he is from a border area as I said above, so its quite possible (maybe, even expected) that he has some Igbo blood. |
oyb:Youy are just sounding more and more foolish; I am not even from Jonathans place, ethnic group or state. Keep airing your arse through your mouth, its quite entertaining. ![]() . . .One fact remains though, Jonathan is Ijaw, he might even have Igbo roots, but no amount of dreaming on your part can make him Hausa-Fulani. Abeg go and tend to your cows, just like the lowly amongst your folk do; your little brain is better off running after malu's across the sahara, than comprehending the simplest of political topics. ![]() Jealousy is a very bad thing. ![]()
this aspect of it being political is one that can't be easily ignored.the JRC may be seeking attention but there presentation seems like that of a group out that may actually be saying the truth even though it may stand unaccepted.maybe Goodluckl should tell us his fathers' in Ijawland and JRC should also furnish us with proof that linked him with the igbo.names can just be a coincidence
I do not see Jonathans origins as being political. He is a 100% Nigerian and thats what matters most. His place is on the border between Igbo land and Ijaw land, so there are bound to be several cross-cultural influences, much like Ondo people having some Edo titles or some Urhobo bearing Itsekiri names and the other way round etc. What is known, is that his dad named him Goodluck; we don't know what names his mother gave him. |
oyb:You are just so stup!d, but you fail to realise it. While other folks have come here to find out a bit more about our President, you are more about personal and tribalist sentiments; I have better things to do. Unfortunately for people like you, Jonathan is the President; I just don't see why you can't live with the fact that he is not from the conservative North. Nothing you do or say or wish or dream can make the man Hausa-Fulani. ![]() Instead of heading your cows from East to West, you keep dabbling in matters above your limited brain power. You can be jealous! Jonathan is an Ijaw man and a 100% Nigerian! |
oyb:Childish. |
^ See the silly clown mapping off foolishly as usual. Is Ogbia not Nembe speaking? Abeg keep yourself to google and Ilorin. |
^ Its just politics. Everyone is tugging for attention, JRC always demands answers in very robust ways. They simply want development of the region to be seriously stepped up. |
