Investment › Are You A Freelancer? by beardedboy(op): 8:38am On Dec 26, 2019
Freelancing is a highly lucrative source of income. It gives you freedom to work from.your home and anywhere you wish, as long as you have your phone and/or laptop and access to the internet.

Unfortunately, many jump into the wagon of freelancing without the necessary knowledge or tools.

As a freelancer, you have two options. Either you work on a market platform like Fiverr and upwork or you search and lock clients by yourself. If you're a beginner you should go with the former. The later is good for experienced freelancers who have gained enough reputation to convince high paying clients.

Irrespective of whatever platform you choose, it's necessary for you to own a website where you showcase your skills, past jobs and client testimonials.

A common mistake of many new freelancers is that they (want to) wait till they "blow" before building their portfolio. Lemme tell you a secret, the best portfolio is the one you build over time. In fact, by the time you blow and you want to start compiling your past works or seeking testimonials some of your past jobs might have been lost and some of your clients might be unreachable again for many reasons.

So start building your portfolio now!

How do you build a portfolio?

Who told you 2020 will be 22nd century?

Millennium is after 1000 years..

A century is after 100 years..

A decade is after 10 years..

A year is after 1 year.
Reminds me of a Twitter post that said:

"what the changes you look into for next decade (he meant 2020)"

People were already commenting until one troublesome guy like you just came and scattered the table;

"next decade is 2021", he said.

Some people will give themselves high blood pressure ontop PMB matter ooo.

And they're swarming NL daily. Who knows? They could be MNK's foot soldiers. It isn't difficult to hire 15 lazy youths and pay them 15k monthly just to be sentinels of NL's fp.

But where was MNK 8years ago when GEJ was president? Truth is Ipobians can say whatever crap they wish about Nigeria but we all know that they cherish an Igbo president of Nigeria than even a Biafra continent.

By the way. I love PMB's sense of humor. If many of these haters' fathers had a quarter of his sense of humor perhaps they wouldn't have grown with bitterness, hate and negativity in their hearts.

In my opinion, calling PMB a retired Major General is a compliment.

No be beans to attain major general in army and still spend eight years as president.

Politics › Re: Sambo Dasuki Says He Is Ready To Continue With His Trial by beardedboy(m): 6:56am On Dec 26, 2019
True sir. We're in control of our lives but only God is in absolute control. So what we want can only happen if God also desires it.

Else, a man's wisdom could be the agent for his poverty.

Politics › Re: Godiya Akwashiki Says Outrage Against N37bn NASS Renovation Budget Misplaced by beardedboy(m): 6:52am On Dec 26, 2019
Honestly, 37bn for a government property isn't too much. Many countries probably spend more.
But in a country where most people live on less than a dollar per day, I think this is misplacement of priorities.

Education › Re: High JAMB Scores: Has JAMB Quality Dropped Or Are Students Now More Intelligent? by beardedboy(m):
In addition to the above points, I think past questions are also responsible for it.

The more the years of past questions, the more samples teachers and students have to study JAMB's methods and techniques.

So I think schools and instructors have mastered JAMB's methods and tricks.

I should emphasize that the factors affecting the improved performance could be more than one. As some people above mentioned;

-improved teaching techniques
- increase in people seeking admission which has led to increase in competition.
- presence of more past questions to study JAMB's patterns.

Last week I saw a man in military uniform locking a civilian inside his car boot. Since then I've retired from defending our armed forces whenever they're accused of violating human rights.

Some people can lick Trump's yansh for breakfast.

Many folks do not know that before the rise of Boko Haram in 2010, Islam was a minority religion in Borno State. They have succeeded in exterminating a sizable number of Christian population and communities.

Imagine how much money, time, energy and attention is being spent on this case.

Wondering why Nigeria is stagnant? DEMOCRACY is the cause.

If it were military or monarchy, simple thing one person will take government and life continues. He'll focus on work.

If he's a thief, at least it will be only one thief and damage will be minimal. Unlike having scores of honourables, senators and representatives looting and looting legit.

And even, by the time he loots for a decade, nothing go dey shack am again. He will face work and at least try to build a reputation for himself.

This democracy is the reason why we're backward. That thing called freedom of speech, press, women and blah blah blah are all scams.

Ponder well you'll see.

Those soldiers are Fulani'rebel army .they knew in their hearts what they were doing.they too are kidnappers.
I'm disappointed in your comments sir. This is nothing but propaganda. You have no proof not even an invalid one to support your claim yet you still said it audaciously like you have a point.

If I have a brother like you, I swear to God I'll prevent you from entering my house because you can cause war.

Many times military troops are intentionally mixed from different tribes and religions to prevent bias in operation.

I thought we were taught to be critical thinkers in school. Indeed, some only passed through school but school didn't pass through them.

I rest my case.

All those are secondary needs. The main purpose of all women is to satisfy a man needs. That's what you should teach your daughter from day 1.
Sex is important, very important but I don't agree that it's primary.
Of course I'll tell my daughter that. However, I'll also tell her that she should only satisfy the sexual need of her legitimate husband.

On another note. As a man do you believe that the only the main purpose of a man is to seek money, security and comfort for his wife and children?

And like I said the earlier women see themselves as sex objects to fulfill men urges the better for everyone.
Many women see their bodies as commodities to be sold in exchange for coins. That's why they're usually dressing lewdly.

However, there are modest women who see themselves as the mother and bedrock of a generation. Those focus on building their intellectual assests.

What other purpose do women serve in this life if not to satisfy men sexual urges.
This shows that you had an irresponsible mother. If not you would know the importance and companionship of a modest, responsible and understanding wife
