Some of them don't even care if their entire village is wiped off the face of the earth, as long as money keeps going into their pockets from those they're paid to praise, they don't care one bit.. don't mind the hypocrites! Stunned ?? I was more stunned than yourself who was quoted! And then I smiled and said to myself, defending a President who does not know his onions is more daunting than jumping off a 50 storey building with your eyes closed and wthout safety equipments. Omenka as you would agree with me is more intelligent than Buhar in political, economic and social matters! Some of us with our alter monikers have been around for so long to know this. If therefore he has been charged with the responsibility of defending a dullard who is quite unteachable, he is bound to vent his frustration on anything in sight! If your identity was in doubt, you would since been labeled Ipop youth! So guy, just move And leave Omenka to his woes. Thanks! You are a true patriot! |

herringbone: all your assertions are correct,I expected outright austerity in the budget not this attempt to unnecessary profligacy thus evidencing mendacious tendencies on the part of the present ruling class. The thing tire me I swear, party politic aside. We don't have another country apart from Nigeria. Keeping the peace and restoring confidence of all is very paramount now. |
Politics › Re: 'Buhari's Budget Moves Domestic Spending In Aso Villa From N580m To N1.7bn' by BeardedMeat(m): 8:33am On Jan 21, 2016 |
herringbone: Honestly I am tired of the whole blame game between the supporters of the two parties and even between the principals.
We the citizens should just hold the ruling class responsible irrespective of their party affiliation pending when the country will be divided. At this point of our national life, this is just the way forward. What the Op has done is just what you have recommended. Everyday for the past 2months, the so called one nigeria continues to fade away. Civil unrest left right and centre and in all the four corners of Nigeria. The rulling class keep making statements that heat up the fragile polity. Buhari must thread softly as governing Nigeria is not the same thing as been GOC in a miitary formation. The man has no political correctness in all he does thereby casting himself in the mould of a sadist! How can he be talking tough on stamping out corruption while reeling out such an unrealistic and elitist budget? How can they be planning to borrow to fund a budget which largely as can be seen will be food for the boys? Borrowing to eat and not borrowing for infraructure! What renovations are they doing to the villa that should cost that much in a single year? Was it not the same villa that was ostensibly renovated for months before buhari moved in? Are they building a new villa? Honestly, political affiliations apart, buhari needs to do a thorough self-check cuase he is leading this country into abyss! True federalism remains the most viable option for starters! |

ionsman: Fayose, when you keep throwing tantrums at someone and he/she keeps giving you the cold treatment,it simply means that person sees you as a noisemaker/a useless person. If I were you,I will shamefully move on to other things because the presidency doesn't seem to take you serious.
No serious person takes your words as gospel.
If you channel half of the time you use in challenging/seeking Buhari's attention into governing your state,I am cork sure Ekiti will be a better place.
Silly, shameless and uncouth governor. Reserve this your poem for Oshiomole. |

Ayo Fayose that's wasting the destiny of Ekiti State on comedy trips, even his PDP counterpart in Cross River is playing less of politics and more of governance. Ayo Fayose that's only good at releasing useless press statements and squandering the lean resources of the state on inconsequential newspaper adverts against the presidency. Antecedents =0, Intellectual acumen =0, capital projects for the state=next to nothing. Lolzz... But the disgraced the erudite polished Fayemi out of office by winning him even in his own ward!
