Timitoyo: 1)Curry/ thyme ( use the known seasoning only like Maggi and Knorr) 2) Suya spices 3) Noodles because of the spices 4) Alkawun ( potash ) so avoid ewedu/okro soup from outside in short don't eat out during the 2 weeks wait . 5)zobo drink 6) Pepper soup because of the spices 7) Fruits like dates, pineapple , oranges , lime , lemon some that I can't remember for now . Stick to watermelon, carrots
I will add more if I remember Thanks |

henmaris: Greetings ladies, I am an old member of this forum just checking up on you all. Infertility journey can be tasking but I pray that in ends in praise for you all like it did for me and other mama's in this forum.
Keep doing what you are doing diligently while making sure you do your own research. Infact go for consultations with enough knowledge like a doctor to ensure that you understand what the doctor is aiming for and give proposals as well if necessary.
I highly recommend endometrial scratch in your cycles. I did 5 IVF cycles and the only difference I made in the last two cycles that worked is doing an endometrial scratch and taking prednisone. Someone from this forum recommended it to me and I will say it worked because after 3failures, the change gave me 2 successes.
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you
All the best ladies, you got this. Hi Sis, I sent you an email but it looks like there is something wrong with the email. Would you happen to have another email address? |

Could food also cause a missed miscarriage? |

Goodmorning Mamas, please I need your inputs. I am a few weeks pregnant and I feel very constipated to the degree that my lower abdomen is tight and swollen as I am unable to completely empty my bladder. I did try push and strained a little when I felt the urge and in the process may have hurt my anus ( apologies for the TMI) I have been taking a lot of water, going for walks and even took hot water this morning to no avail. I can't even sit properly due to the anal pain. Pls has anyone experienced this or have a solution to this issue? Thank you. |

Blendy77: The fibroid size doesn't look that big but atimes location matters especially the one in the womb. Talk to ur Doc, especially the one you are doing the IVF with. The Dr Ese we get most of our results with most times will ask you to remove or at least give lupron or zoladex for a while to reduce the adenomyosis. Fibroid removal atimes is not just for getting positive results but the discomfort and pains of carrying pregnancy with it is why most Drs advise removal especially if u are pregnant with multiples. Thank you so much |

Damilolly: These don't seem of much concern.
I had a saline hystersonogram and it showed a 2.5cm subserous fibroid 11% in the cavity. Some docs say it's minute and is of no effect other say, well it might help to remove it. However, there's the risk of scaring when tampering with the uterus. Interested in other's thoughts. Thank you so much |

[quote author=apogyizi post=127090440]The adenomyosis is the concern here, if you ask me. Those sizes of fibroids and the location is just not much to worry about.[/quote
Thank you. I honestly don't understand what Adenomyosis means. I have read a lot about it but still don't understand it fully. Could you explain please. |

Mayfufu27: I had a successful ivf with fibroids but according to my doctor the fibroids is not any where close to my uterus and it's not big. This is good news. Happy for you. Did you know the size of the fibriods? |
Health › Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Beautifulsenora: 7:05pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
Hello Everyone, I ran an ultrasound and the result.. It was detected that there is a subserosal fibriod on the left side of the uterus measuring 1.4cm in size, another one on the right side intramural in location measuring 1.8cm, this one is seen approaching the submicosal surface of the uterus and there is mild changes of adenomyosis. My doctor isn't available to analyze the result for me
I want to undergo ivf soon and was wondering if these things can hinder the success of the ivf, @blendy77, towerofgrace . Also if anyone has had a successful ivf with fibriod and all.
Thank you |

msleilla: Hello Ladies, I’ll like to share my process and hopefully trade thoughts around my protocol. I’ll be cycling with Bridge Clinic.
30yrs old with borderline AMH (1.15) and FSH (8.0), total antral follicle during physical exam (9). Doctor says I have an indication of low ovarian reserve so I’ve been put on the long protocol (Buserelin followed by Gonal F) together with CoQ and folic acid
Please ladies, I’ll appreciate thoughts and recommendations on natural things to do to help this process while using the prescribed medication. This is my first cycle and I’ll like to do everything I can to increase my chances.
Haven’t even begun and my emotional stress level is already off the charts. I completely understand the emotional aspect of the process. By God's grace you will be fine. It is best for you to be on COQ10 (600mg),vitamin d (2000 ius)and prenatals(that has folic acid of at least 800mg)for 3 months. These are supplements you can take to boost your egg quality and you do not need prescription for them. Pls note that I am not a doctor so if you feel uncomfortable taking the medications, you can talk to your doctor about them. |

Mamaejimaato: Praaaise the Lord! Hallelujah somebody! Is a BFP on a first trial after almost 6years of marriage with 3 failed Iui and Amh of 0.56. Jesus did it for me. To Him be all the glory. I want to use this medium to say thank you to the pioneers of this group, those of you, who have shared your struggles, what you did differently and have taken your time to answer questions here, May God bless you
On what I did differently: Firstly, I almost finished reading this thread as it open my eyes to so many things as I didn't even know group like this existed during my ttc years and Iui trial.
I copied and saved things people did differently and added my own,
I prayed and fasted for 3days for God to take perfect control of everything.
Short protocol was used for me as a result of low Amh. when my period started, I dewormed and took lemon and lime infused warm water first thing in the morning for 5days, prior to this, I have stopped taking beverages, soft drinks and malt. I started wearing stockings even before the egg collection as I read that it helps to increase blood flow to the uterus and wore it all through the 2ww, soaked my feet in hot water atimes b4 EC, ate one egg daily, ate a lot of almond seed, avocado pear and other fruits even after the transfer. I was even sad, during the stimulation when only 5viable follicles was seen, I nearly wanted canceling the cycle, but the doctor encouraged me to go on, as God would have it, on the day of egg retrieval, 6eggs were retrieved, 3 fertilized but only two made it to blastocyst which to the glory of God the two implanted. I ensure I insert my cyclogest same time, 10am in morning and 10pm at night. Progesterone injection is 12pm every 48hours, I took folic acid and pregnacare original too. I took pineapple core for 5days and also stayed in a nearby hotel for 5days after transfer. My people I didn't bath for 2weeks, I only use wet towel to clean my body, no cream, no deodorant or perfume at all, no house work of any kind, but i try walking around the house few times during the 2ww. I took DHEA 50mg2xe, coq10 200mg 1dly, l arginine 500mg 2xe, and folic acid for 4months based on doc recommendation before the cycle commence. All these I got them from here and added jara to it.
After the transfer, I asked my doctor to pray with me which he obliged. May God bless Doc Odeigah for me, he is very patient and tolerant, I nearly used questions finished him. My prayer is that God will bless everyone cycling with a BFP and cause us to carry to full term with healthy babies. Please ignore the errors and feel to ask me any questions. praise the lord, congratulations, pls how long before your ivf cycle did you stop taking beverages? |

Towerofgrace: if you are in Nigeria, ask your Dr about the routine malaria preventive drug. It is in tablet form routinely given 1ce in 4 weeks mostly starting between 16weeks - 18weeks or even at 20weeks but definitely after you start having quickening, it is to prevent malaria in pregnancy, i use both govt and private hospital and they both take it very seriously.
