I have been wondering lately about things that could make or break a relationship between a male and a female that are just casual friends. and then this came to my mind so i decide to bring it to you guys.

Punishments for various misdeeds can come in various shapes and brutality, depending on the crime committed by the offending student, some are lashes of cane whose numbers run into double figures, others are manual labours that leaves mental scars behind, I remember in my Ss3, was supposed to go to morning mass, but didn’t, then came the vice principal, a reverend father into the hostel to check out for we good for nothing truants, the lashes of koboko I received on my bare skin that fateful morning left indelible ”maps” on my back till date, twas one experience I would never forget.

I have noticed that many people always choose not to eat the first slice of bread. When I asked some of these people they told me its because its the most ugliest.
I tend to agree a bit but not satisfied.

I have a mind boggling issue I would like you to share with fellow Nairaland users.
I met my boyfriend late last year during my company’s end of the year party and ever since then we have become inseparable. We have even set a November date for our engagement this year.
I was however jolted last weekend when a friend of mine came visiting and while discussing he told me my boyfriend was an “Animashaun” during his university days.
I confronted him about it and he actually said it’s true but that he's now a changed person. A part of me believes his but another part of me feels Iike i got myself a bad deal.

Latest reports coming in from Ikeja area of Lagos State, western Nigeria, suggest that there is panic among residents in the area over the burial rites of the late Olu of Ikeja Kingdom, Oba Rauf Adeniyi Aremu Matemi.
According to a circulating rumour, the burial of the late Oba of Ikeja, who was declared dead last week Tuesday, includes the slicing off of ’7 heads’ to be buried alongside the late Oba.
The monarch was said to have died in his palace after a brief illness and since then, there have been restriction of movement in Ikeja area due to burial rites allegedly being carried out on the death of the traditional ruler.
All businesses and shops at Ikeja local government were closed down for business as a mark of honour for the departed monarch.
However, commercial vehicles and tricycles (Keke Napep) operators were seen going about with their businesses.
When newsmen visited the palace Wednesday morning, traditional rulers, Iyaloja, Baales, members of the Hausa community were there to mourn the monarch.
It was gathered that some rituals were also being performed in the honour of the late Oba at the palace. Some traditional chiefs were also seen wearing white wrappers as well.
Attempt to find out the cause of the death of the monarch, one of his chiefs, who did not disclose his name, said such information could not be disclosed to the media because of some rituals that needed to be carried out first.
