Meet an eight-year-old Indian boy whose hands swelled to giant proportions and now weigh more than 12 kilograms.
The boy is unable to carry out simple tasks, including tying his own shoe laces, feeding himself etc.
Young Kaleem suffers from an extremely rare unknown condition, he is unable to carry out simple tasks, including tying his own shoe laces, after he was born with hands twice the size of an average baby.
Kaleem’s parents knew he was different at birth but were as powerless to help and the youngster’s hands have now grown so large they measure 33cm from the base of his palm to the end of his middle finger.
The youngster’s hands have now grown so large they measure 33cm from the base of his palm to the end of his middle finger.
Since his childhood Kaleem has been bullied and shunned because others are ‘scared’ of his deformity. The boy does not go to school because other kids have repeatedly beat him.
“I find it difficult to put on my clothes, button my shirt and pull up my pants.
But I don’t know if I want doctors to operate on my hands. They would have to make me unconscious and then they would cut me open.
I have no problem if they could do it without an injection. A small operation would be okay.”
Kaleem’s parents, who earn just $25 a month, have only just been able to take their son to a local doctor for an assessment.
Kaleem is believed to suffer from either lymphangioma or hamartoma – which are both treatable. However, more testing is needed to identify the disease.
Apart from the unsightly growths, Kaleem is in good health – with properly functioning lungs and heart.
But as his hands continue to grow it may put increased pressure on his cardiovascular system, potentially shortening his life.
“As far as my knowledge goes, this is an extremely rare condition.
I have not seen a case in medical journals or on the internet where only the hands grew to such a large size.
Until we have done proper genetic testing we will not be able to say exactly what is causing this deformity,” Dr Ratan, the director of the local hospital, said.
Lymphangioma is a condition of the lymphatic system which causes extreme inflammation resulting in doughy masses forming in certain parts of the body. Hamartoma is a benign type of tumour where the body produces excess tissue.
AsKaleem’ss hands continue to grow it may put increased pressure on his cardiovascular system, potentially shortening his life.

CrimeMan Rapes Seven-year-old Girl, Damages Her Private Parts by Beazy(op): 2:30pm On Aug 20, 2014
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, identified simply as Julius, for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl (names withheld), damaging her private parts and distorting her urination.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that 29-year-old Julius, who lived in a rented apartment on Obafalabi Street, Ojodu Berger area of Lagos, allegedly tricked the little girl into his room on the night of Saturday, July 26, and had illegal carnal knowledge of her.
Our correspondent gathered that the victim, a primary one pupil, was the daughter of Julius’s co-tenant. It was further learnt that Julius, who hails from Benin, Edo State, was not married and lived in the apartment with his mother.
Our correspondent learnt that on the fateful evening, the victim’s family, who were Muslims, had gone for prayer in a mosque and expected the child to come with them, but could not find her. However, when the family returned, the girl was said to have sneaked out of the suspect’s room, with obvious signs of pain.
Upon interrogation by her parents, the girl was said to have confessed that she was coming from Julius’s room, where he allegedly asked her to remove her pants, while he climbed on her and raped her. After the confession, the parents were said to have reported the incident at the Ojodu Abiodun Division and Julius was arrested.
When our correspondent visited Julius’s apartment on Tuesday morning, the victim’s mother, a northerner who hails from Kebbi State, toldPUNCH Metrothat the girl could not urinate properly after the incident, adding that she was being treated at a private hospital.
She said, “On that evening, when we came back from the mosque, she could not bend down properly. I asked her where she went and she initially lied, but later said she had been in his room.
“She said the man asked her to remove her pants, and he put his organ into her, stating that he was just playing with her. I then asked her to repeat the same to her daddy when he came back. But in the morning when we confronted Julius, he denied it. Then we called our family nurse, who came, tested her, and confirmed that she had been raped.
“That same day, we took her to a private hospital where the doctor also confirmed that she had been raped the day before, and on several occasions. So, we reported at the police station. From that day, I observed she could not hold her urine.
“A girl who had stopped bedwetting suddenly began to urinate during sleep. The medical personnel said there was a damage to her private parts that needed to be treated. That was how she resumed treatment at the hospital.”
When our correspondent got to the hospital where the victim was being treated, her medical report, which was signed by a doctor, identified simply as Dr. Sanni, stated among other things that there was a breach of hymen and the absence of labia minora.
One of the nurses, who craved anonymity, said the girl had been coming for treatment for about two weeks.
At the rented apartment, Julius’s room was locked, while his mother staying with him could not be reached for comments as of the time of this report. Also, she could not be reached on the phone number supplied by the co-tenants.
The Lagos State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Lelma Kolle, confirmed the arrest of the suspect, and added that the case, because of its severity, had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.
He said, “The suspect was arrested by the Ojodu Abiodun Police Division in connection with the rape of a seven-year-old girl who had some wounds on her and could not urinate properly.
“But the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for further investigation. The suspect is presently being detained at the SCID.”

Crime19-yr-old Rapes Chicken To Death In Ondo by Beazy(op): 10:50pm On Aug 19, 2014
AKURE—A-19-year-old apprentice welder (names withheld) was caught today making love to a hen. The fowl reportedly died during the act.
The taboo was said to have been committed by the apprentice at about 11.20 p.m. at Continental area of Akure metropolis.
The suspect,Vanguardlearnt, had committed same taboo with a goat in his home town, Afo in Ose council area of the state.
He was said to have been ex-communicated from his home town because of the offence which made him to move in with his brother in Akure.
Speaking with newsmen, the owner of fowl, Mrs Stella Akintola, who resides in the same building confirmed that the man actually made love to her chicken.
According to her, she went to bed early but was woken up by the noise coming from the chickens at the back of her room, an indication that someone was disturbing their peace.
The discovery
Akintola said she went outside only to find that the back door was still opened. According to her, she became curious and “I shouted to know who was still at the backyard only for him to appear from the corner of the house, saying he went to the toilet because he had a running stomach.”
Akintola said she was not convinced especially as she noticed that the noise from the chickens’ pen stopped abruptly.
She said she went to where the chickens were but nothing was found. “It was when I visited the toilet that I found one of the them stone dead with its feathers littering the floor,” she said.
Still unaware that the suspect was the cause of the death of the bird, Akintola said she raised an alarm only for him to confess that he was responsible for the death of the fowl.
Akintola said the suspect confessed and begged her for forgiveness, saying he would pay any amount for the dead fowl.
She said she decided not to report the matter to the police because she could not stand the rigour she would be subjected to by the police over a “minor offence.”
Report had it that there were evidence that the man actually had sex with the hen when it was examined by the owner and others living in the building.
A spirit directed me to do it—Suspect
In an interview with newsmen, the suspect, who declined to speak initially, however, said a spirit directed him to do what he did.
He said: “I was already sleeping when a spirit just came upon me and directed me to go to the back of the building. I did not know what I was doing again until when I discovered that I had slept with the hen.”
Contacted, the police image maker, Wole Ogodo, said since the matter was not reported to the police, he could not comment on it.
Ogodo noted that “it is what members of the public bring to our notice that we investigate. This is a strange occurrence if what you are telling me is the truth.”http:// www.vanguardngr. com/2014/08/ 19-yr- old-rapes- chicken-death-o ndo/ #sthash.nhHBCvan .dpuf

1. He's not a man of his words.
2. He's corrupt and has not being able to tackle corruption(our biggest problem).
3. He is divisive and clannish; he plays the religious card more than any leader from this part of the word.
4. He's clueless and porous in ideas.
5. He's a mini dictator.
6. He surrender nigeria to boko haram.
7. Our military suffer their worst setback under gej.
8. Nigeria rank all time low in terms of international respect frm comity of Nations under gej.
9. He was sidelined at mandela's memorial when other african leaders frm smaller countries were allowed to speak.
10. He went for an AU summit and missed his speaking slot cos he was on phone trying to rig d govnors forum's election frm adis ababa.
11. He made us to believe that 16 is greater than 19 and, 5 is greater than 27.

13. He's weak.
14. Oil theft reached an all time high under gej.
15. Nigerians have never been this insecured and always in fear like we're under gej.

But a true mother will keep that as a secret especially when it happens to their daughters. You need to quickly check your DNA to be sure that momma is actually your mother...Not calling or concerned about your whereabouts not even feeling your pains and the damage it has done to your psychology or the trauma you went through..

I am sorry dear, go do the needful.

sexymoma: Firstly, she is your mother, have that at the back of your mind.
Ok let say she made a mistake by telling her friends... Are you gonna keep grudges wid her forever angry
Now you told us she didn't call to apologize, why can't you call her and confront her.
Tell her your mind, pour everything out and let it die down... My dear you still gonna need her angry
And don't forget we are human, she told her friends probably cos she was shocked or she is the type that doesn't know how to keep things secretly.
If she knew that her friends would go about telling people im very sure she wouldn't have mentioned it them.

Just forgive and let the sleeping dog lie. Biko angry

PoliticsControversy As Minor Accuses Blind Guardian Of Rape by Beazy(op): 1:28pm On Aug 19, 2014
The police in Lagos are investigating a visually impaired man who has been accused of rape by a 12-year-old minor (names withheld).
While some policemen at the Satellite Town Police Division found it difficult to believe that a “blind man” was capable of raping someone who had no problem with her sight, others insisted that the minor was too young to lie.
The Network on Police Reform in Nigeria, a non-governmental organisation, felt that the indecision by the police was a way to bury the case at the expense of the victim.
PUNCH Metrogathered that the minor started work as housemaid with the visually-impaired man, identified simply as Kingsley, in January 2014. It was said that the agreement was that Kingsley, who is married with three children, would sponsor the minor through school while she would assist the household with domestic chores.
Trouble, however, started when the minor was unceremoniously returned to her aunt last month on account of what her guardians termed her unruly behaviour and her tendency to always run away from home whenever she was scolded for wrongdoing.
But the minor told the aunt that she ran away from home after Kingsley raped her. The furious aunt was said to have invited the police at the Satellite Town Police Division and Kingsley was arrested.
Narrating the incident to the police, the minor said, “I ran away from home because daddy (Kingsley) attempted to rape me a second time.
“Before I ran away he had called me into his room to help him read a text message from his phone. In the process, he forcefully had sex with me. I ran away when he attempted to rape me another time.”
But the suspect said the minor’s claim was false. He wondered how possible it was for a blind man to rape a girl who could have escaped.
He toldPUNCH Metrothat the minor was scolded for wrongdoing and she did not return until the next day.
Kingsley said, “The rape was an afterthought by the minor’s aunt to punish me for returning her unceremoniously. It is a set up. The girl in question could hardly read or write. As a blind person, my phone is enabled with a software package that enables me to make calls and read text messages without assistance. When she ran away, it was our landlord that brought her the following day. She did not mention anything about rape as her reason for running away.
“She and her aunt must have cooked up the rape issue to punish me. The medical test that allegedly proved that she was defiled was conducted when doctors were on strike. I will want this matter to be taken to court because my name has been smeared.”
However, NOPRIN said the police had compromised on the investigation.
A statement by NOPRIN National Coordinator, Okechukwu Nwanguma, said, “Curiously, the police are the ones echoing the argument that the alleged rapist is visually impaired as if that will negate the possibility that he could have committed the offence.”
But the state Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Lelma Kolle, denied any complicity by the police, saying justice would take its course.
He said, “The matter was first reported at the Satellite Police Division and the suspect was arrested. He was granted bail because of his condition. The incident has been transferred and is still under investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”

FamilyShe Needs Ur Advice..she Is Her Mother But She Can’t Keep Her Secret. by Beazy(op): 1:18pm On Aug 19, 2014
I was raped at gunpoint by an unknown man in the parking lot of a shopping mall about a year ago, after the incident I decided I wasn’t going to let it destroy my life, I went for medical checkup and counseling and I have been able to put the whole thing behind me until recently.
I told my mother about it some months ago but I assured her I have recovered and I made her promise not to tell anyone. I was shocked when I started hearing it all around in my neighborhood, i went to confront my mother since she is the only one that knows about it. She said she told her two friends because she wanted their advice. Her friends went home to tell their children and the news started spreading from there with all sorts of twists, someone even said I got pregnant from the rape and aborted.
I felt really betrayed and disappointed. I was so angry at my mother I yelled at her, I left home in anger and moved in with my friend in another part of the town. It’s been three weeks now and I am surprised that my mother has not called once to apologize for what she did. My siblings say she is still insisting that she told her friends to ask for their advice. I am hurting really bad and its all due to her lack of discretion, i really don’t know if its worth reconciling with her if she doesn’t call to apologize. What Should I do?
CareerTip On How To Teach Your Teens by Beazy(op): 6:28am On Aug 14, 2014
Adolescence can be a confusing time of change for teens and parents alike. To nurture your teen and encourage responsible behaviour, there is the need to understand parenting skills to guide your teen
Give kids some leeway
Giving teens a chance to establish their own identity, giving them more independence, is essential to helping them establish their own place in the world.
Show your love
According to www.webmd.com, one of the most important parenting skills needed for raising healthy teens involves positive attention. Spend time with your teen to show him or her that you care. Listen to your teen when he or she talks, and respect your teen’s feelings. Also, keep in mind that only reprimanding your teen and never giving him or her any justified praise can prove demoralising. For every time you discipline or correct your teen, try to compliment him or her twice.
Minimise pressure
Don’t pressure your teen to be like you were or wish you had been at his or her age. Give your teen some leeway when it comes to clothing and hairstyles.
Set limits
To encourage your teen to behave well, discuss what behaviour is acceptable and unacceptable at home, at school and elsewhere. Create consequences for how your teen behaves. When setting limits avoid ultimatums as your teen might interpret that as a challenge. Also, be prepared to explain your decisions. Your teen might be more likely to comply with a rule when he or she understands its purpose.
Prioritise rules
While it’s important to consistently enforce your rules, you can occasionally make exceptions when it comes to matters such as homework habits, TV watching and bedtime. Prioritising rules will give you and your teen a chance to practise negotiating and compromising. Before negotiating, however, consider how far you are willing to bend. Don’t negotiate when it comes to restrictions imposed for your teen’s safety, such as substance abuse, sexual activity and reckless driving.
Enforce consequences
Enforcing consequences can be tough. Being too lenient might send the message that you don’t take your teen’s behaviour seriously, while being too harsh can cause resentment. Calmly explain the unacceptable behaviour and the consequences. Be consistent when you enforce limits. Whatever disciplinary tactic you choose, relate the consequences to the broken rule and deliver them immediately. Limit punishments to a few hours or days to make them most effective.
Set a positive example
Remember, teens learn how to behave by watching their parents. Your actions generally speak louder than your words. Set a positive example and your teen will likely follow your lead.
Invite their friends for dinner
It helps to meet kids you have questions about. You are not flat-out rejecting them, you are at least making an overture. When kids see them, see how their friends act with their parents, they can get a better sense of those friends. If you flatly say, ‘you can’t go out with those kids,’ it often can backfire —it just increases the antagonism.
Decide rules and discipline in advance
If it’s a two-parent family, it’s important for parents to have their own discussion, so they can come to some kind of agreement. Whether you ban them from driving for a week or a month, whether you ground them for a week, cut back on their allowance or Internet use, set it in advance. If the kid says it isn’t fair, then you have to agree on what is fair punishment. Then, follow through with the consequences.
Discuss checking in
Give teens age-appropriate autonomy, especially if they behave appropriately. But you need to know where they are. That’s part of responsible parenting. If it feels necessary, require them to call you during the evening, to check in. But that depends on the teen, how responsible they have been.
Talk to teens about risks
Whether its drugs, driving, or pre-marital sex, your kids need to know the worst that could happen.
PoliticsFear Of Ebola : Drama As Nurses, Doctors Flee Patient With Ebola Symptom by Beazy(op): 7:32pm On Aug 13, 2014
Omg, this is not even a laughing matter, but seriously who wan die? If you try to save a patient and in the process you contact the virus and you later die, who have you saved?
These were the words of most nurses yesterday atOrile-Agege General hospitalwhen a man with symptoms of Ebola was rushed to the hospital.
It was gathered that, Nurses on duty fled immediately the man was brought in, while doctors also refused to attend to him because they were not well equipped. PoliticsTwo Children Burn To Death In Lagos Fire by Beazy(op): 6:01pm On Aug 13, 2014
Tragedy struck on Monday evening as two kids, Kosiso Chukwu and Munachi Henry, both two years of age, were burnt to death in a fire that gutted an apartment in the Mafoluku, Oshodi area of Lagos.
Their six-month-old sister was, however, rescued by a nine-year-old girl, Perpetual.
Our correspondent learnt that Perpetual and Munachi were on a holiday visit to the Chukwus when the incident happened.
PUNCH Metro learnt from residents that the fire started after the mother of the house, identified simply as Mrs. Chukwu, lit a candle in the room and left the house.
She was said to have also padlocked the burglar-proof gate before leaving the house.
A neighbour said, “It was around 8pm that the incident happened. There were four of them inside the house. While Kosiso and Munachi were in the inner room, sleeping on a mat, the six-month-old baby and Perpetual were in the sitting room.
“Their mother lit a candle in the inner room, shut the gate and left the house.
“The candle fell on the mat and caught fire.”
She said the smoke emanating from the inner room woke up Perpetual, who quickly picked up the baby beside her.
She was said to have struggled to push out the six-month-old through the iron bars, before wriggling out too.
It was learnt that Perpetual sustained injuries in the process.
She was said to have raised the alarm which drew the attention of neighbours to the incident.
Another resident, who did not identify himself said, “We mobilised and began pouring water on the fire, but it was not enough.”
The fire reportedly raged to an adjacent white bungalow before extending to the roof of another one-storey building beside the house.
The inferno was said to have been worsened by the fuel in some generatorsin the houses.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that residents initially were not aware that the two victims were in the house until it was too late.
An eyewitness said, “The mother came back and started screaming, ‘my children’. That was the time we knew the kids were there; it was too late.”
The owner of the building, Mr. Adewale Adesoye, said men of the Lagos State Fire Service were alerted to the incident that night.
He said, “We called the fire service, but they missed their way. By the time they got here, the damage had been done.”
Our correspondent learnt that the remains of the victims had been taken by the police.
WhenPUNCH Metrovisited the scene on Tuesday morning, a crowd of sympathisers were seen lamenting the death of the children.
Some officials from the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, were also sighted locking up some houses within the premises.
One of the health officials, who pleaded anonymity, said, “Can you see that the houses are already in bad shape? There’s no way people can be allowed to continue here because it’s dangerous and more people will die if we don’t do anything.”
The Head of the Lagos State fire Service, Mr. Rasak Fadipe, said, “The fire started in the night and two children died. It was caused by a lit candle stick. We were able to contain the spread of the fire.”
The Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Lelma Kolle, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident.
He added that the corpse of the children had been taken to the mortuary.

2ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE and EUROPEAN FOOTBALL LEAGUES, it is easy for an average nigerian teenager to know the names of all chelsea players but same youths cannot tell you the square root 25 in mathematic. Worse still is that these days instead of seeing inscriptions like UNIVERSITY or SCHOLARS on the exercise books, what you see are pictures of paloma,Drogba,Beyonce,Omotola etc
3DSTV,Home video and african movie magic, watching television and films endlessly.European champions league,English premiership,Barca,Blues,Chelsea,MAN U etc
4GSM and BLACKBERRY, the average nigerian teenager uses the latest and expensive gsm phones just to show off that they belong, when they are actually nothing.
5GSM TEXT LANGUAGE, I will not be surprised to see students write words like ur (for YOUR), 2moro,2mao( For tomorrow) in their EXAM sheets
6 QUEST FOR CHEAP FAME AND WEALTH, The government, electronic media(tv and radio) and companies have not been helpful at all.The average Nigerian youth especially the girls want to BE silver Birds most beautiful Girl and get cheap money and fame(Nobody has remembered all the previous miss world, but we still remember MOTHER THERESA),they want to win IDOLS WEST AFRICA, they want to be in NOLLYWOOD, they want to be TWO-FACE,they want to win maltina street dance ,they want to win starquest and GULDER ULTIMATE SEARCH
Warning is that wealth gotten by vanity shall DIMINISH.
7The new craze of TALENT SHOWS: Suddenly The only talents our youths now have are music, dancing, acting and stand up comedies, they no longer have talents for maths, physics and entrepreneurship.
Leave a comment!…..Share your thought about the speculations..

This gist is according to City People Magazine and it has nothing to do with me and I am not jealous of them. People in the know already know it’s a ‘normal’ way of life for some ladies in the city. The gist;
Do you know that quite a lot of babes who live in Abuja do not have any correct job that they do. Do you also know that very few of them have shops or any tangible work place they can point to as office, yes they live big and they drive flashy and exotic cars, live in very expensive apartments, dress to kill, buy expensive things and travel abroad for holidays.
Some of those babes do not have their parents or relatives in Abuja. Some are students but still engage in dirt acts, while some don’t even have anything doing.
We can tell you what they do that gets them the big bucks they spend. They are dirty things. Below are the 5 dirty things they do for money according to Citypeople;
1) Sleeping With Dogs;
This debasing acts are mostly put together to form a part of the p**ngraphy business worldwide and the ladies involved are mostly paid in dollars.
The men mostly ask them to sleep with dogs while they record it with a camera.
2) Buying Mobile Numbers Of Top Celebrities;
Some of them go as far as buying mobile numbers of top celebrities and politicians from their friends and some family members for as high as N50,000 just to have a close contact with them. After achieving their aim, they tell the politician they have once met and he personally gave them his private line. Some of these men have believed them and have falling prey afterwards.
3) Dating White Guys
They purposely go around hanging out at places were rich white guys hang around just to meet them.
4) Giving Birth and selling their babies for money

HealthThe Hidden Dangers Of Taking Too Much Paracetamol by Beazy(op): 5:33pm On Aug 12, 2014
Taking Paracetamol on a regular basis may do more harm than good to you.
Paracetamol has, until now, been regarded as especially helpful for those who cannot take painkilling non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen as they may be allergic to NSAIDs.
A growing evidence from studies conducted across the world links the drug to a number of very serious side-effects like asthma and developmental defects, such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, as well as potentially lethal heart and kidney problems in adults, and even a risk of death from rare, but excruciating, skin reactions.
Over recent months, other evidence has emerged that should make people wary of using paracetamol as a first resort when feeling pain.
In February, a report in the respected journal JAMA Pediatrics warned that children born to women who used paracetamol during pregnancy may have an increased risk of ADHD and other behavioural problems.
The best known danger of paracetamol is an overdose, intentional or otherwise. Excess paracetamol can overwhelm the liver’s processing abilities and cause damage, resulting in acute liver failure which can prove fatal.
John Dickson, a Middlesbrough GP and community rheumatologist, who was once a clinical adviser for Nice guidance on osteoarthritis, is particularly concerned by research showing that sustained paracetamol use over months or years causes gastric bleeding.
He said: “This is particularly dangerous for elderly people, because this causes the loss of haemoglobin – the molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen.”
Other American research has linked long-term use of paracetamol with blood cancer. In one study of nearly 65,000 people, taking paracetamol for at least four days a week for four years was linked to nearly double the risk of being diagnosed with leukaemia or lymphoma.
However, Professor Donald Singer, a fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, said Paracetamol is a useful drug if used in the right way, adding that it is a powerful drug with powerful side effects when taken excessively.
