Edo can geographically be called a SS state but it's certainly not in the Niger Delta. What most people do not know is that South South and Niger Delta are not synonymous, while the entire ND region is in d SS, not all of the SS is in the ND. Guess your confusion arises from this misunderstanding

The white commentator said that igbos were among the most backward tribe when the british came...but that they embraced education and by 1960 were the most advanced tribe in nigeria. It also said that war time biafra was the best run west african country. Check the documentary on youtube. Its up to 40 mins long

Christianity and western culture is so rampant in the east that u shouldnt really doubt this opinion. Islam which is still conservative is high in west which means less women will go to school there
