The way these Igbo politicians thieves talk about this Igbo man becoming Nigeria's president come 2023 you begin to wonder if this the problem of an average Igbo man. Go to mgbuka obosi, ogbete market Enugu, st. Michael Aba, ahia ohuru in imo, Ochanja market or building materials market Anambra and ask an average Igbo man there if his problem is becoming Nigeria's president and you'll be amazed about the answers you'll get. I know Hope Uzodimma isn't saying this because of his love for the Igbo man struggling on the street to make the ends meet but, for his personal gain(s).

My Pity Goes To That Igbo Man That Will End Up Becoming This Country's President That Is, "If It Will Come To Pass" Because His Government Will Be Frustrated To The Extent That He'll Start Blaming His Mother For Bringing Him Forth Into This World And At The End Of The Day, He Will Be Blamed For Nigeria's Woes And Misfortune Starting From 1914 Till The End Of His Tenure Of Office.

∆ Stop disturbing yourself. Nigeria is playing scripts authored by Buhari. This very army are in Benue doing nothing, some of them even said that they have not been given a go-ahead.

Buhari has successfully diverted the attention of Nigerians with the everyday killings of the herdsmen. No one seems to be bothered about developments in the educational sector, agricultural sector and other sectors herdsmen had stolen our attention.

Buhari is an evil genius. This guy looks weak and foolish but he isn't.

Voting him out is the only solution

Politics › 5000 Bayelsa APC Members Return To PDP by BeeBeeOoh(op): 5:57pm On Apr 27, 2018
Yenagoa – Membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State have further depleted ahead of the 2019 general elections as some of its chieftains and their 5,000 supporters returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Governor Seriake Dickson, who received the defectors on Thursday at the PDP Secretariat in Yenagoa said only the PDP possesses the political credentials to win elections in Bayelsa.

Among the APC chieftains who abandoned the party for the PDP are staunch allies of former Governor Timipre Sylva, who is the leader of the APC in the state.

They include Stephen Ogullah and Fred Nyanayo, former Commissioners for Finance and Transport; Vivian Ere-Imananagha, Johnson Alalibo and O. O Osusu, former members of the state House of Assembly; Michael Amaegberi, former Special Adviser on Economic Matters; Love Amaseimogha, former Commissioner in the Civil Service Commission; S. B Odi, former Chairman of Sagbama LGA; Woyengikuro Inieyeri, former Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA and John Ebikake, former Chairman of Ekeremor LGA.

Dickson said the PDP government in Bayelsa under his watch had placed the state on the path of peace, prosperity and development, adding that the people were happy with the party.

He said any politician who is deceived into contesting in 2019 general elections on the platform of the APC would fail abysmally because only the PDP could win elections in the state.

The Governor called for more support for the party leadership and assured that the PDP would create a level-playing field for all aspirants to vie for political offices.

He said, “The PDP is the only party that has a developmental agenda for the Ijaw people.

“What we do in PDP is to strategize to win elections, and after elections we work for the development of our people because we are in politics to serve our people.
“The other party comes to kill our people because they lack the vision, they have no agenda for our people except to destroy what our founding fathers have built and what our restoration government is onsolidating. Except us, no person, nobody in the South-South in any party had won election under the ruling APC.

“We were the first to win election in the South-South under the Muhammadu Buhari Presidency. Any person who is deceived to contest election in 2019 on another platform other than PDP will still lose because only PDP can win election in Bayelsa State.”

Dickson continued: “I am very grateful to all our brothers and sisters for taking the decision to return but, while you were away our party became very cohesive and strong with order and discipline. So, watch out for those who want to divide you and give encouragement and sow seed of discord.

“On behalf of your government and the leadership of the PDP, we promise all of you a level-playing ground and fair play. You are welcome back home to your party.”

The Governor advised that none of the returnee leaders should suffer any loss of prestige or seniority, stressing that all of them should be incorporated into the appropriate organs of the PDP at all levels.

Also speaking at the event, Moses Cleopas, State Chairman of the PDP, said only his party has the capacity to defeat what he termed federal might as it happened in 2015/2016 when Governor Dickson won re-election.

He said that in 2019 the PDP would re-enact its winning streak by sweeping the elections against every odds that might stand in the way.

Fynman Wilson, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, said he and the PDP family in the state are working hard to mop-up the remnants of the remaining tiny opposition in the state back to the PDP.

Politics › PMB's Invitation To White House Proof Of Good US-Nigeria Relations- Lai Mohammed by BeeBeeOoh(op): 12:45pm On Apr 27, 2018
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said that the U.S. President Donald Trump’s invitation to President Muhammadu Buhari to the White House is a proof of the cordial relations between the two countries.

Mohammed in New York during his engagements with media and a couple of think-tank in the U.S.

The Minister is in the U.S. to showcase some of the achievements of the Buhari’s administration to the U.S. and the world.

He said: “I think it would be presumptuous to really know or say what he (Trump) is going to discuss with Mr President (Buhari).

“But clearly, that he (Buhari) is being invited by President Trump shows the growing cooperation between the U.S. and Nigeria and I think it portends well for both countries”

Trump is due to host Buhari on Monday, April 30, at the White House to discuss issues including “fighting terrorism” and economic growth.

“President Trump looks forward to discussing ways to enhance our strategic partnership and advance our shared priorities: promoting economic growth and reforms, fighting terrorism and other threats to peace and security, and building on Nigeria’s role as a democratic leader in the region.

“The relationship of the United States with Nigeria is deep and strong, and Nigeria’s economic growth, security, and leadership in Africa will advance our mutual prosperity,” the White House had said.

Buhari would be the first African leader that Trump would host at the White House since his inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017.

Recall that the Nigerian president was the first African leader Trump called on phone following his inauguration as the U.S. president.

Diplomatic experts said the developments have only reaffirmed the strategic importance of the Nigeria-U.S. bilateral relations and Nigeria’s strategic position in Africa.

Also recall that former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also visited Nigeria in February in a first five-country African tour embarked upon by any official of the administration.

Politics › Benue Killings Design To Divide Nigeria - President Buhari Says by BeeBeeOoh(op): 6:04am On Apr 27, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari has described the continued killings of farmers and destruction of property in Benue State by suspected herdsmen as a deliberate evil act by enemies of the country to dismember Nigeria.

The President stated this yesterday in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

Buhari, who decried the situation where a brother resorts to killing his brother, “a neighbour killing a neighbour and a community attacking and killing members of another community,” warned citizens against playing into the hands of the enemies.

The President said those behind the Church attack that left 19 people dead, including two priests, did not mean well for Nigeria and peaceful coexistence.

The President also noted that the revenge attacks that followed in which 11 members of the Hausa communities were killed were part of the agenda of the bandits and their sponsors to turn Nigerians against one another, adding “we must resist all temptation to fall into this laid out plan.”

He said he was greatly pained by these persistent violence and the total disregard for the sanctity of life by those he called “hideously evil people who have no iota of respect for humanity, decency and civilization.”

Buhari vowed that the government would not rest on its oars in its determination to fish out the murderers and their clandestine sponsors. He equally assured Nigerians that measures being put in place by the government would, sooner than later, bring to an end, these extremely brutal and wanton killings.
