thank you for your response, I have chatted Johns academy like you suggested, and yes it's confirmed that it isn't the same as NVQ certificate, but just for self development accredited by CPD.

Do you please have a link of where to get the NVQ certification?

Ozed55:

Hi Beedollas, you have to be very careful of the online courses you choose.John academy offer CPD courses mostly(CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT),they are UK's accredited body for improving Ur skills while working or just for CV boosting ,Reed also offers many of them too,as you would hve noticed on their description. You must take an NVQ/RQF level 3 course in adult care or health social care.If you even notice, their courses are cheap cos it's just for self development. The NVQ courses fall within the range of £400- 500 online

Make sure to get your late husband's death certificate if you haven't. You will need it if you want to take the kids abroad!

Thank you Sir/ ma for your response... please just for clarification, are you saying that the regular ielts we took say for Canada visa ( not ukvi) is also accepted for UK visa application?

dee1504:

Yes it can be used.

To everyone asking about IELTS, the options are:

IELTS for UKVI Academics
IELTS for UKVI General
IELTS Life Skills

Hello Fam, please I understand that ielts Ukvi is the approved ielts for UK visa application.
Please for the carer and support Visa;

1: which of the ielts is recommended? Academic or General?

2: Please can someone help post the link to book the ielts Ukvi?

Thank you

It is good to ask questions, thank you for the response ma

Bluetherapy:

Yes you can bring them on the care visa scheme as the scheme allows dependants which your children her.
However, you might want to come in first ti test the waters and settle down before bringing in the kids because childcare isn't small money here as you might have heard. This is because care workers aren't paid much and you might end up paying your whole salary on childcare since you don't have partner.

My advice, make sure to include your kids as dependants in your visa application but don't apply for their visa yet. Then when you get in and understand how things work and have quite a good amount of savings, bring in the kids. This is because from day one of entering this country, you will be paying a lot compared to what you are used to in Nigeria. Getting an apartment is no stroll in the park sis.

I appreciate this , thank you

Itstemi10:

Dont even tell them you have 5 and 7 year old except you plan to clarify that they are in Care of a trusted Care giver.
Under 10 year olds are babies to these oyinbos and a disadvantage to your application.
A care workers salary is relatively low in the UK and they are looking for smart and single individual or those with grown kids who want to work really hard, sleep and back to work 4 long days a week.
How do you plan to add childcare to that ?

Dont try to include them now, that's a big error. In fact act as if you have no interest in brining them, and when you work for a few years especially after you get a LLR, apply to bring them, by Law they will give them.
But if you apply with them now they will be thinking of childcare

Beedollas:
Hi everyone, wonderful job in here, thank you.
Please I need to clarify this....

I planned to apply for the about to be lunched carers and home support workers Visa, but here's my challenge.

I am a single parent (widow) with 2 children who'll be turning 7 and 5 years this year respectively. It is speculated that we can apply with our dependants too.

* I have an option to apply with them at once , or just myself then bring them in later maybe after 6 months... My question is ;

*Since I'll be the only available person to come back and pick them, Are those with work permit allowed to leave the country (Uk) within such period of time?

*Would you advise I apply with them at once , and if we're given Visa, I go at once with them or come back and pick them later?

*Or I apply just for me, then when I land and probably get my foot settled, I apply for them to join me (ofcourse this means I'll have to come back to Naija and pick them)

Thank you in anticipation

Anyone help please

Hi.
You could start the research now pending when all of this blows over but always work with an organisation not an individual as you could end up in Libya as human labour.
If you are asked for money that is a red flag.
Read up the two companies below when you find the time,I do not vouch but have seen the paperwork from them land in Sheffield for verification approval.

Hi fam,
I am confused, when I see documents required of a sponsor, I tend to see an invitation letter included. Please does it mean that only Uk residents can sponsor someone from Nigeria?
Can someone in Nigeria sponsor another person in Nigeria to Uk for tourism?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Beedollas(f): 12:31pm On Nov 09, 2021
Good afternoon house, please does my sponsor need to also send his CAC certificate?
He's using his personal bank statement not company. Can we use only his bank statement, payslips and sponsor letter. Will this document be okay for my sponsor? Please this is urgent

You can just put 1.00 GBP there
They'll definitely know it's fully sponsored

Hello fam, please I am on this page on my application form. I want to opt for a priority visa, but there's option for just standard. How do I pay for priority please

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Beedollas(f): 6:32am On Nov 07, 2021
Hi Sir, please help clarify. For me I am being fully sponsored, which means I won't be spending a dime from my Money.

What I put on the money I will be spending personally is My estimated expenses and what I put on the sponsor's column is the total money my sponsor will be giving me which is not the same amount.

My expenses is less than the amount my sponsor is giving me.

when I saw your reply, I went to edit my personal expenses to zero, but it refuse to register, it insisted that I put an amount.

In this case what do I do? As I will not be adding any funds because I don't have a pof to show in that regard.

Thank you in anticipation

Kenneth417:

You are correct in your response to the question.

How much are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK
--- 400K

Will anyone be paying towards the cost of your visit? Your husband
--- Yes

How much are they paying towards your visit? Your Husband
--- 300K

In this case, they are going to sum them up totaling 700K ..You'll then submit your proof of funds as well as your husband's proof of funds to cover your travel expenses.
