lawyer: My brother am confused too. He has been so depressed and texting me frantically to help him out. He told me he took a loan to buy the land and he wanted to put a commercial structure there. He said he has even gone ahead to pay the architect and paid money to building suppliers and builders to erect a fence and foundation before this devastating Land Information dropped on his laps. So we are looking at an extra N3Million here if we add the above costs for the fence. I wish i knew what to tell him and all this could have been avoided.Are u sure all this could have been avoided?Well I guess it would have made more sense if he had paid 50k for the land investigation. |

On Sunday, October 13, 2013, Mr. Tolu Ayoola, 37, left his New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos residence around 7pm to get some fuel for his generator and batteries for his child’s walker, but has not returned home since then. He was driving his official vehicle, a white Toyota Hillux van with registration number, EK618A01, marked ‘Bureau of Special projects. His wife, Adepeju, said Ayoola’s suspected abduction had turned “her life upside down.” She said the family learnt from eyewitnesses that Ayoola was stopped on his way back home around 7.30pm by some armed men, who snatched the vehicle at gun point and took him away. I was at the Winners Church to go and check out vehicles being donated by church members in tandem with the Church's request that members should sow seeds.These Nigerian used cars (Seeds) are on the average affordable,though there are some over priced vehicles there.However prospective buyers are prevented from testing the cars to know how sound their engines are.The vehicles which all have price tags on them have been parked for so long but the care takers will assure you of they are durable and in top shape.In my own opinion,I feel prospective buyers should be allowed to test the vehicles as this will convince them and make the whole process look transparent.Why will you want to pay so much for a vehicle you have not tested? What do you think guys? |

Yeah right.One early morning about two months back an airplane almost capsized on our roof.You needed to have seen how people scampered for safety.The whole ground trembled,it was so scarey.The news never reported this occurrence in Lagos and you tell me our airspace is free.Free my *@&#.I wonder why Joe didnt have her sacked,we have lost too many lives to plane mishap under her administration. |

God bless Nairalanders.I really have been in dire need of advice and I mean good advice concerning the 2003 Ford explorer.The jeep looks monstrous as well as prestigious.However one must look beyond that and consider other factors such as the durability and maintainability.I stumbled on it at a car shop and the price is so cost saving.It costs just 1Million and one hundred.I actually was scared cos I didnt expect such a huge Jeep to go for so "little". So I am caught in between buying a Honda Pilot,Rav4-2006 or a Ford Explorer.I also know that the second hand value of the Ford is nowhere near the Honda or Toyota but honestly I want to save some money at the car market.Infact I drive a Toyota product currently but need another one to augment.I just need someone who owns and uses a 2003 Ford Explorer so that I can get sufficient and first hand info about the sweet looking jeep.I want to know all the pros and cons that comes with owning the Jeep.Thank you.

Help please.I just got this brand new tecno M3 on Monday and the battery zaps so fast.What could the problem be? I bought the phone from Slot and I have gone to complain about this anomaly.They actually did some settings on battery life saver but it hasnt solved the problem. |

There is no place that pushes tourism more than Osun State with over 20 tourists-bound locations in Osun State, the best the governor can do is to create a conducive environment that will make transportation-air, road, rail, etc accessible and attractive to the tourists.This was well put out.Ogbeni Aregbe is a technocrat just like his comrade,Gov Fashola.There is never a time that is rife or right for development and I tell you that this is one of the reasons why Nigeria is lacking behind in so many areas.Our leaders who happen to be well traveled come back home and feel Nigeria is not rife for the kind of development they saw while abroad.Let me ask if we dont do it now then when is the right time?An international Airport will usher in more employment opportunities and of course foster economic trade.
