While Susan’s comments were filled with arrogance, truth is that she used surrogates to birth her so called twins. The boys were born months apart by two surrogate mothers. They probably weren’t willing to come to Kenya, considering that the US has better healthcare.

I’d love so much to visit Nigeria, but snakes on the front page always scare me. I grew up in an area without snakes. I’ve only seen them at the zoo especially the size on the picture above. I don’t like those things close to me. Not forgetting that in Africa one can die quickly if bit by the snake, because many government hospitals lack antidote for the venom.

This is not a Nigerian thing and I am not defenfing the man but when the social media companies let kids stay on their platforms anyone can fall prey.

It’s like the phone has become the new "parent" in many households, while real parental guidance is often overlooked or weakened by the constant distraction of screens and notifications. Parents today are indulging their kids, no one wants to parent anymore. We want the internet to do everything just because you can YouTube how to drive does not mean you can drive on the road from there. Parents now give their kids phones at a very young age, forgetting the wisdom of a TV box was to monitor what is on. Parents who could not cope then did not buy TV sets and their kids did not die. Parents back then too gave excuse that the world is moving on. Yes the world is moving on but you can never change what will be there for years, parents are there to guide children, nurture them and monitor them.

The real issue here is that the internet is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it connects us in ways that were unimaginable just a couple of decades ago, but on the other hand, it can expose vulnerable people, especially kids to serious dangers. Social media platforms often fail to create the kind of environment that truly protects kids, and it’s shocking how easily teenagers can bend the rules or hide their identities to engage with adults, sometimes without anyone noticing until it's too late.

It was nice of them to have rescued her, but that’s not enough. She needs to be taken to a Psychiatric hospital for treatment & therapy. If not, it may be just a matter of time before another attempt & she may succeed. Some recover without treatment, others don’t.

Let’s not sugarcoat. The guy was arrested for robbery with violence which is a serious crime. Matter of fact, the owner of the home they robbed was a police officer. He most likely had a gun at home. These people commit horrible crimes in homes of the common citizens. I have no sympathy & don’t understand why people are saying he was treated unfairly. Together with his accomplice, they only managed to take the fowl & eggs because they figured that they were about to get caught. They had wooden guns and swords. The judge was fair. That crime carries many years anywhere, though, they could have considered that he was a minor. The judge may have chosen to sentence him as an adult. Having said this, the judge went overboard by handing a death sentence.
It’s likely that the status of the aggrieved influenced his decision & he gave the death sentence when no life was lost. Unacceptable!!
