Yeah it’s so sad that he’s rested at a very crucial time when his political wisdom gained after a political career spanning close to 60 years was much needed. A true son of my home county of Nyeri , a Kenyan hero per excellence. He deserves all the encomium poured on him. May he sleep well. He shall be truly missed. I don’t know if someone around her had narcan which is life saving and an antidote for opioid overdose. It blocks the effects of of opioids that cause brain damage and restores breathing. Just pumped through the nose. In the US, a prescription is not needed to buy it from the pharmacy. I hope more people can get to know about it because it has saved many struggling with drug use.

Nah. Its not worth it
Because there’s no scripture to backup the nonsense that people call “ falling under the anointing”. It didn’t happen on the upper room so I don’t where people got this teaching from.

If you've ever fallen under anointing, how does it happen?
I have never fallen because God is not the author of confusion. I didn’t see it in my Bible that the people in the upper room on the day of Pentecost were falling after the Holy Ghost had come upon them. It is a false doctrine. The only time we see people falling in the New Testament is when demons were cast out. This nonsense of a person laying hands or chanting some magic words that cause people to fall is all acting. These are just people acting out a script.
Family / Re: Should I Allow My Mum To Visit Us by Beey(f): 3:21pm On Apr 03, 2022
Francis609:
My mum have never liked my wife to the extend of wishing her death when she lost our first baby and I had disowned her for saying that. So far we haven't had any contact since the incident and we are finally proud parents of twins boy and girl born in February. My stepmother have been here for us since day 1 she is in my house taking care of my wife and babies , my mum called saying that she want to come over and take care of my wife and kids and will be spending a month . I lied to her that my wife is with her sister and will let her know when she is back to the house so she can come over. To be Frank I don't want her near my wife because she doesn't likes her and I don't think she have any good plan for us. Did I do the right thing for lying to her my wife is not around or should I give her the chance to come over and see if she have truly change?

Please If you want to understand the full story go through my old threads
Am not surprised that your stepmom is taking care of your wife. A lady brought her mom here in the US for the mom to help take care of her children as she was in nursing school. She said her mom would never cook or clean. She’d scatter her dirty clothes on the floor. It was one day when the lady’s husband had to fix the roof in his mother in laws room. He had a roof technician with him. Only to find dirty underwear’s all over the woman’s roof. The lady said that her mother in law was so nice and helpful but had to let her own mother return to Nigeria due to the stress the mother was causing her. Long story cut short, any woman who lacks sympathy especially after another woman has just lost a child, must be a person with a very dark heart. If your mom didn’t love and respect your wife in the past, is it now that things will change after coming to your home for a month? I don’t want to sound judgemental because I don’t know what your personal relationship with your mom is like. However, like many have said, it’s okay to love people from a distance. You can take the kids for a visit but let someone keep an eye on them all the time if you don’t trust your mom. I pray that you’ll receive healing and your relationship with her will be restored. One has only mother regardless of whether she has mental illness, is crippled or a witch. A mother is irreplaceable. Try workout your issues with her even if it means involving the elders , religious leaders or even a therapist. You’ll never have another biological mother.

Dear nairalanders, I lost my mum recently due to illness, will you advise your 83years old father to remarry a 60yrs old woman to keep body and soul due to loneliness.
He can remarry if he wants to. However, be very careful as his children on matters inheritance. Our friends dad remarried. They agreed with him that the property he’d made with their mom before her death, was out of bounds for the new wife. Different women get married with different agendas. Not all are greedy but it’s better safe than sorry.

As for me ehn, maybe the witches and wizards in me is coming from the lucifer directly, no matter how pastor touch my forehead, I can't fall.
No I’ve never. Used to attend vigil at a certain church. It wasn’t my church though, so I’d only go there on Friday nights. Everyone in the church used to fall except me. I was raised in the Presbyterian church and so am not used to drama. That was how I concluded that most people falling in church are just actors. God is not the author of confusion. I didn’t read it in my Bible that people fell on the day of Pentecost. It’s a false doctrine.

They listen to their “daddy” and “mummy” more than they read the sound Word. God is not in this nonsense. The devil masquerades as an angel of light, so let’s not be deceived.

bigpicture001:
...My friend whose dad passed on two months ago and who was so sure he will henceforth become a big boy got the shock of his life when his dad's will was read to them by his father's lawyer...

In the will his dad gave him Nothing which was unusual especially being the eldest son and coming from the Igbo tribe.. his father owns two filling station, a big and very busy half-warehouse store where he sells dangote cement wholesale, three commercial houses , a sign supermarket,3 pieces of land also one SUV and two small cars.

We suspect, it may be connected to his visibly wayward lifestyle, he has twice been sent packing from two different private University in the south east over tuancy and suspected cultism....more shocking is the late father handing over the day to day running of the firm to his oldest daughter "not his wife"

The said girl is just 24 years old but graduated as second best in the dept of economic then..his father even helped her secure a lecturing job 5months before his demise..he stated that his wife will only be an important signitory for transaction worth a million and above.

He added a clause that his son can join the management of the firms and estate only when he graduates from any University with at least a pass and record less than 7police cases before he turns 28..

Even at that he can eventually take over the firm after joining management for minimum 4years...

Abeg oo. is this. Dead man not wicked... Allowing a girl lead the house when her mum is still alive.. although she is older than the guy.. sh is the first child
Actually, calling the dead man wicked for his property shows a level of entitlement. Actually sounds like you might be that son. That’s not important. The man was wise. Please watch Genevieve Nnaji’s Lion heart on Netflix and everything will make sense. People need to have a sense of responsibility. When purpose of a thing is not established, abuse is inevitable. The guy in question has some growing up to do and lessons to learn. Otherwise some people who haven’t worked for something, they may not know it’s value and therefore will waste it.

Family / Re: Married Men With Experience, Please I Need Your Help. by Beey(f): 8:19pm On Jan 11, 2022
Fred166:
I married my beautiful wife January this year, I Love my wife so much, I have never cheated on her since we got married. I opened a business for her worth 900k. i've already promised her a car this coming year (well I ride camry muscle and I'm tired of sharing the car with her).

My wife is too lazy, all she cares about is her eye lashes, make-up, nails and watching Zeeworld all day, She goes to her shop 10am and return 3pm, She barely take care of the house. Sometimes the plate I used for breakfast before going to work would still be on the dining table unwashed when I return. Her make-up tools and bag littered everywhere in our sitting room.

We're expecting our 1st child, Now that She's pregnant (4 months) she's worst. Na so so chop chop, I will jokingly say babe Pls don't go out of shape I won't look ur side again, Is like the more I beg, the more she chop chop. ...weird food carvings. Coconut water and bread, shawarma and pepper soup with sugar cane in her hand, I dare not buy it for her otherwise I won't sleep.

I still cook when I'm back from work. Anytime I tried to talk to her, she would say can't I see she's pregnant, she's having waist pain, leg pain, Infact body pains. I wanted to employ a maid she refused, she spoke ill about maids, she said they are husband snatchers e.t.c.

3 days ago, She asked me to renew our dstv sub and I refused. Yesterday I noticed she has done it (first time). I saw her watching Zeeworld, laughing sheepishly and pointing to the TV, I needed to watch man united match so I changed the channel, she dragged the remote control from me and changed it back to Zeeworld, she said I'm too stingy, I didn't sub for her, I refused to buy her a car.

I don't know what to do. With her lazy attitude I'm scared during delivery she would be saying I can't push o.

Experienced men help a brother.
You’ve received blame for not being observant while dating your wife or ignoring the signs. It’s all the past and you are married. Women behavior can change during pregnancy due hormonal changes. Remember she’s also eating for two. Try not to make a big deal out of her feeding habits at this time. Since she doesn’t want a live in domestic help, why not get someone that can come daily and then go to their own home later? At least they’ll clean and cook. Turn a blind eye till your wife delivers. After delivery, put the matter at hand to the table. Let her be responsible for some bills in the home, after all marriage is a partnership. Hold on to the thought of buying a car unless you are willing to add more expenses to your budget because it seems like she might not even afford to fuel the car. Until she can show improvement, I don’t think it’s worth investing more money on her or her business. Goodluck

now, we are about to carry out D & C abortion tomorow, but she keep saying she is scared.. Even me, i'm scared too..

i don't know what to do..

please, don't feel bad reading this, i only need advice on this, it is a wrong move but my mind is already made up to do it..

how i wish i can just allow her to birth it..

though, one of my mind is still telling me to keep it, but how can i be able to take care of her and the baby?

And she is just my side girlfriend, not my real babe..
pray for me nairalanders, i need strenght this moment to take the right decision..

You want to have fun but are not ready to deal with the consequences. Surely you are an adult and knew that unprotected sex could result in a pregnancy. You are now here disturbing us. It’s not bad enough that you are cheating on your girlfriend with a side chic, but you went ahead and impregnated the side chic. Now you want to commit murder. All these, one person? This year is not about motivating people. Do what you want to do.

U are the only one seeing it as a ridicule

Like I said, it's just an adjective for better description

Someone says you are black and u take it as an offense? ... Does being black disadvantage or handicap you in anyway? Does being black reduce your self worth as a human being?.... I am black and am proud of my color... Statistics even show that people darker in complexion are more protected from the harmful rays the sun radiates due to the melanin pigment in their skin

Jeeez .... these our generation is so sensitive or should i say suffering from inferiority complex

I have a gap tooth; So when someone wants to describe me to someone, he/she makes mention of my gap tooth

Should I now start flaring up that the person made mention of my gap tooth?
Inferiority complex or whatever you want to call it is your business. Am sensitive to foolishness and colorism. I am not here to agree with everybody so you are free to hold your opinion without mentioning me.

It's just fact and an adjective for better description

Even among the whites, there are sets that are Whittier or fairer than the rest. For example, the people of Ireland and Scotland are Whittier than the average caucusian
Funny you. I’ve seen West Africans that are darker in complexion. Besides, have you been to Kenya? Interestingly, people see the marathon runners who are from a certain tribe and assume that all Kenyans are that dark in complexion. We’ve seen people who are darker. And yes I am very sensitive to dumb remarks. If one cannot create a human being, they have no business talking about their looks. We don’t care who’s more blue or yellow, we the human race are one. The white man’s blood group B is the same same as a black man’s in the same blood group. People should not be objects of ridicule especially in today’s world. Ignorance is not an excuse.
