Good afternoon ma,

Please ma,I need your urgent advice. I think I may have messed up a very good relationship that God gave me. I dont know what is wrong with me. I get impatient…I say things that annoy the guy or push him away. Please help me.

I am a writer on relationship,etc.I carried out a research on why men treat ladies anyhow.I see the way guys use and dump ladies all the time. This made me put up a false appearance for the purpose of my research.

Recently,I had an online meeting with a group of young people. I decided to share my thoughts from the meeting here.

The topic was: Choosing A marriage Partner…Are prospects And Potentials Enough?

Prospects are the possibility or likelihood of some future event occurring. While potentials refer to:latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.

Many find sometimes that the person they are involved with does not have all they want in a partner but the have faith that person has potentials and prospects

My question is:Is having prospects or potential enough?

For example…I am dating a guy…who is not financially ok….But I suspect he has the potential to be rich…Maybe cos he looks like someone who knows where he is going to.

Or …I meet a lady…who is not a committed Christian but I want to believe she has the Possibility of getting more committed. Will I be wrong for doing into marriage with such kind of individuals I have described above?

You know…I always said…I was not in love when I first met my husband. He didn’t look like my kind of guy. My kind of guy was every girls’ dream guy: Tall,Dark and Handsome.But the way he spoke and his visions made me believe in this potentials and future

However…does that work for everyone? Just because I married a man with potentials and it worked for me,does that mean it will work for every other person?

There are many who married people they thought had potentials and prospects but that potential or prospect never materialized. Some married a man hoping his financial situation changes…But after marriage…it became worse. Now they are frustrated.

Some married a guy who used to cheat..hoping they can change the brother…believing marriage would cure his lust…but that got worse during marriage.Or a lady who is not committed to serving God…a young man marries her and hope she becomes a better Christian with marriage.

Now during marriage…she lacks every drive to be a better Christian or better person because she is busy with having babies or being a home maker.

I could go on and on but this is my submission:When you look out for a partner for marriage…look for potential and prospects with EVIDENCE ����

Do you know the meaning of evidence:Proof that they actually have potential and prospects!

For example…a guy that is not financially stable but he has workable and concrete plans on how to change his financial status. Faith without works is dead!

Evidence:An young lady that she is making every effort in improving her spiritual life,attending prayer meetings and other spiritual development programs in church etc. Now that is evidence with potentials and prospects!

There are so many ways to test a man or a woman’s potential or prospect. You cannot let desperation or blind faith set in. You have to be deliberate in your evaluation of the person’s growth.

And you must yourself contribute to make sure that person reaches the full potential and prospects. So…you help them in their growth. You help them achieve their dreams. You play a vital role otherwise you may be disappointed.

Do the work of preparing for your future marriage…invest in that person…make sure that person has an unstoppable drive to achieve their potentials and prospects

My husband told me he wants our daughter to spend the holiday at his friend’s house due to our financial constrain, but I out-rightly refused with excuses of these girl is only 4 years old and still needs the company of her parents.
Besides she can’t be of help to them so I declined. I forgot about it since I never considered it and saw it as a forgotten issue,but to my greatest surprise I came back from the market one day and I didn’t meet my 4 year old daughter at home and I started asking after her.
I was told she went out with her father and I immediately called my husband to know their where about because it was obviously late he told me he has taken my child to his friend’s house for holiday and they traveled together.
I kept my cool just for peace sake but any time I ask him to call his friend let me talk with my daughter it’s from one excuse to the other, I told him to give me the address of his friend let me visit my child. He said he doesn’t know there address as they left for another state.
My problem started when the holiday was over I kept asking him about my child’s where about he said they will soon be back so I decided out of curiosity, I visited a man of God who told me my husband has used her for money ritual and he divinely gave me the number of this acclaimed friends wife and I immediately called the woman who confirmed she hasn’t seen my child.
So I continued pressurizing my husband to bring back my daughter,In the heat of all these he ran away from the house and someone confirmed they saw him somewhere so I immediately got him arrested after he confessed to his mischief.
But my problem now is that his family asked me to withdraw the case that I shouldn’t let him go to jail so it can be handled in a family way, While my parents are strongly against it saying the are solidly behind me just to make sure I get full justice.
Some friends said I should withdraw the case cause his my husband and father of my kids just for their sake and that if i ever loved him I should forgive while some said I should let him pay for his crime.
On my part I also want him to suffer greatly for these but people are bad mouthing me and calling me evil .
Please my people if you where in my shoes what will you do because I don’t think I can let go.
