Over hyped. The only thing I appreciated is the landscape architecture at Obafemi Awolowo University. Especially the three interconnecting faculties of Social Science, Law and Administration. OAU is so beautiful.

You can't blame the government for this. It's the quality of design the architect/contractor you have to question.

And concerning teaching in English...the British colonised Nigeria...not UAE. They brought education. Formal education was alien to the Nigerian culture. Nigeria follows a pattern we even adopted a large portion of their legal system too...So for me, those who started asking questions about the common sense in adding arabic to the Naira notes have a valid case.

Nigeria is an English speaking country (at least as our lingua franca. Not french, not arabic)
