Titiluvly:
4. Calabar

Located in South-southern Nigeria and watered by the Great Kwa and Calabar rivers, the city is home to a variety of attractions such as Obudu Cattle Ranch and Tinapa Resort.

The city attracts visitors with its array of tasty delicacies, beautiful architecture and festivals. Every year, Calabar hosts Africa’s biggest street party known as the Calabar
Carnival, where diverse colourful cultural costumes are displayed. There’s never a dull moment in this carnival. For indigenous vacation in Nigeria, Calabar is often the first
location that comes to people’s mind.

The city boasts of several other attractions including an integrated sports complex, a free trade zone and Port and an international air and sea port among many others.
Obudu Cattle Ranch is not located in Calabar. It is in Obanliku LG which some 4-5hrs from Calabar.

Definitely not.. Now lets look this on a state by state basis.. (South West only)
OSun state voted for Ribadu irrespective of Tinubu's directive for all agent to back down in 2011..Am most certain Buhari would also nick it this time around. No Tinubu Factor
Oyo state, the Governor is still battling for his Soul here, i school in I.B, the body language of the people over here is surely in favour of Buhari..and also the incumbent has little say on this, he himself is not safe yet... No Tinubu Factor
Lagos state, surely here Tinubu call the shot but i stil believe that irrespective of Tinubu's Sellout, the general should be able to get a respectable amount of vote..Possible Tinubu Factor
Ondo State-Here Mimiko has successfully brandish tinubu as An "Ajele" who wants to impose his stooge on the state because of their oil.. No Tinubu Factor here too
Ekiti-I believe the people of Ekiti voted fayose not because fayemi has not done well but because he refused to share the money. They wanted a Man of the people which sadly Tinubu does not represent.
Siddon there make you dey jonze
Jonathan will win in Oyo State: APC might be thr ruling party but don't forget that LP and Accord have adopted Jonathan at the national level and with Akala and Ladoja; two former governors as their candidates, except Jonathan to nick it by 60:40
The same scenario will play out in Ekiti as Fayose is so popular among the grassroots people, so expect him to deliver atleast 60% to Jonathan with his charisma and incumbency.
With APC as the ruling party and Aregbesola's popularity, expect something like 70:30 in Buhari's favour in Osun.
Ondo is PDP and Mimiko is so passionate about the Jonathan project. Expect Jonathan to have around 65% of the votes.
With Tinubu (if he decides not to sell out) pulling the strings and his foot soldiers doing his bidding, expect GMB to nick it in Lagos state. But don't be surprised because there are many neutrals here and don't expect the fairly large Igbo population to go with GMB. It will be too close to call but GMB might just nick it.
Jonathan will win in Ogun. Amosun is battling for his political life due to defections and the withdrawal of support by Osoba and his political empire coupled with his antagonistic deputy. Expect Daniel, Kashamu and Dimeji Bankole to deliver the votes. 60:40 in Jonathan's favour.

The only way for Amaechi to stay in the limelight is for him to insult Jonathan so as to grab the headlines. Other governors hug the headlines with their good performances in office but Amaechi only gets into the news through his uncouth foul-mouthed rants. Dude is suffering from mouth diarrhoea.

Politics › Ex-leader Of Assemblies Of God Church Arrested For Forgery. by Bekwarra(op): 4:18pm On Nov 23, 2014
The General Secretary of the Assemblies of God
Church, Rev. Godwin Amaowoh, has described the
arrest of the church’s excommunicated General
Superintendent, Rev. Paul Emeka, as a reward of
stubbornness.
Emeka was arrested and detained on November 12
by the Nigeria Police for allegedly being in
possession of a forged certificate and for parading
himself as a Professor of Theology. He was later
interrogated by the Force Criminal Investigation
Department, Abuja.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel
Ojukwu, confirmed the detention of the cleric and his
planned arraignment in court for certificate forgery.
Responding to the news of his arrest, Amaowoh said,
“God is wonderful. That is the reward for
stubbornness, arrogance and pride. All lawsuits will
naturally end, if he is jailed. (It’s) sad.”
Reacting to the statement, the sacked leader of the
church told SUNDAY PUNCH that it was not time for
him to respond.
The excommunicated pastor was sacked few weeks
ago as the AGC’s spiritual head and ex-
communicated from the church for allegedly acting
against its constitution and for allegedly committing
acts that could bring the church into disrepute.
A complaint made by the National University
Commission that Emeka’s professorship certificate
was not original led to his arrest.
The certificate, it was learnt, was purchased from one
Prof. Okoro, who was deported from the United
States to Nigeria.
Speaking briefly on the matter in a text message to
our correspondent, Emeka said, “I have decided for
now not to be only responding to what they (referring
to his opponents in the church) initiate; it will tire me
–that is their strategy.
“At the appropriate time, I will initiate my
information, which will also address any issues they
might have raised.”
If convicted, Emeka may bag between 10 and 21 years
imprisonment.

Politics › Ibadan APC Rally Killing, PDP, AP Call For Investigation. by Bekwarra(op): 4:10pm On Nov 23, 2014
The Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party has
condemned the killing of a policeman by suspected
political thugs who invaded the rally of All
Progressives Congress at Oke Ado area of Ibadan on
Friday.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the
Oyo State Collectives, a group within PDP, Adekunle
Femi, said, “Without being told, the claim by the APC-
led government to have achieved peace is a mere
propaganda to deceive the people of state that they
have done something special. The recent clashes
among the rival group in All progressives Congress
and attacks on innocent people by thugs loyal to the
party in Oyo has further established the claims that
the party is spreading propaganda in its desperate
bid to retain power.
“We urge the security agencies in the state to be
more firm and conscious of activities around them
especially while in the midst of party loyalists during
rallies and campaign,” the statement said in part.
Reacting to the report linking him with the bloody
violence, Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-West
Local Government, Taoreed Adeleke, said the
hoodlums who unleashed terror during the rally
were impersonators and not APC members. Adeleke
spoke through the council’s Head of Information Unit,
Segun Adeyemo.
He said, “The people of Oke Ado have been enjoying
peace for the past three and half years, how can the
government touting peace and security of life as one
of its achievements orchestrate violence against its
much cherished people?”
In its reaction to the mayhem, Accord Party in the
state called for thorough investigation of the attack,
while also expressing security concern ahead of 2015
elections in the state.
In a statement signed by the party’s spokesman,
Dotun Oyelade, AP said, “The unprovoked killing of
policemen and random shooting to intimidate by
hired thugs barely 12 weeks before the next election
is a danger sign that must be stopped.”
Meanwhile, at least one person was on Saturday
reported killed at Aruogba community clash in Oredo
Local Government Area of Edo State, over the
leadership of the community.
It was gathered that trouble started when one of the
factional leaders in the community, was said to have
recruited thugs from neighbouring communities to
unleash mayhem on the community.
A source told our correspondent under condition of
anonymity that there was heavy shooting during the
fracas which left five houses and several cars
completely razed by the warring factions, while many
of the residents scampered for safety.
Shop in the area were also said to have shut down
while many youths in the community fled the scene
to avoid police arrest.
Efforts to reach the Edo State Police Public Relations
Officer, DSP Noble Uwoh, proved abortive as he said
that he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
It was, however, learnt that the scene of the conflict
had been condoned off by men of the Nigeria Police.
