I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks that these contestants need a dance and choreography instructor(s). I don't know if they have but if they do, the person isn't doing a good job. The contestants aren't delivering performance - wise and I think that's why a lot of the performances have been boring.

Michael Jackson?of all the musicians in the world. Theres a reason people hardly sing M.J' s songs on music shows. Syemca shouldn't be choosing songs because he likes them. Yimika was very smart, choosing 'Sade'.
Seriously, I don't understand. You have the chance to choose your songs, choose songs that you can kill effortlessly, songs that will make you 'shine'.

I've been in denial, but I think I should just come to term with the fact that Jahtell is the best female vocalist in this competition! She really owned the stage last night! She just sang like all these black Americans in some Baptist Church, and I consider them the best singers in the world grin

.
lol.... She did well. Idyl also did well. I hope people vote for him. I will most definitely vote for him. I'll really hate to see him leave the show.
I'll vote for Area too, mostly because of sentiment sha.
Please, who did Patoranking save from yesterday's performance? It was omitted on the website. I guess it was an error.

I was surprised when I saw Precious comments on YouTube grin but It is allowed sha. Even Project fame contestants beg for votes on Twitter.
I think now I can understand why contestants on PF are not allowed to use their phones. Jahnomso was all over YouTube replying people's comments. The comments were brutal. Some comments can kill contestants' morale. I was just pitying him. The guy should go home in peace biko.

Lol

Abeg what is Aranmupe o?

I agree with you Wow and Bada did better that Glowreeyah and Precious.

It's like Timi goes with popular choice sometimes.

Waje and her love for lower register

lol.... It means talking while squeezing the nose or something like that....
Timi should have picked Bada. Some Nigerians don't think people can sing if they haven't screamed and shouted their lungs out.

Hmm.....
For me, I think Bada should have been saved by Timi. I also think Wow should have been saved.
I'm not hating o but ehhhhmmmm, I didn't really feel Ifeoma's singing. She sounded so nasal. She can sing, no doubt but the tone she used is what Uncle Ben would have called 'aranmupe' voice lol.
I prefer Angelica Hale's version. It gave me goosebumps.
They all tried sha but there was no mind-blowing performance.
I hope Bada and Bunmi or Chris Rio are saved.

I'm sure most of us watched super story while growing up. I can remember looking forward to watching Super Story every thursday on NTA when I was in secondary school. I can also remember going to school on fridays and discussing what happened in super story with my friends. Super Story was the 'happening and cool' TV series then.
Nowadays though, Super Story has lost its appeal. I can't remember the last time I watched super story. I started losing interest when they started airing those short series with terrible storylines and actors.
Do you still watch Super Story? When was the last time you did? If you don't watch it anymore, why did you stop watching it?

PS: I know this is not supposed to be in this section. I created the thread here because I need people's opinion on this and the traffic in this section is relatively high. Thank you for bearing with me.

Nice pictures. You really captured the life of the market. Good job OP. I don't like going there though. The market is always rowdy.

lol.... They just spoilt the season for me jare.... With all my voting. I suspected something like this would happen because Steve's fan base was just starting to grow.
TV/Movies / Re: MTN Project Fame Season 9 Official Thread by BelovedN(f): 10:55am On Aug 27, 2016
This season just lost its appeal. I always look forward to watching Steve... The thing dey pain me for body.

The judges should just go on a sabbatical. I think they should know by now with all their years of judging that putting all contestants on probation never ends well. I had a bad feeling when they put all of them on probation again. The first time went well, they were lucky, people that were meant to go home went home. How could they have thought that the same thing was going to happen the second time.

Steve wouldn't even have been on probation if they had picked out people to be on probation. I just dey vex for here. Let them continue.... In fact, anybody can win this season for all I care. Yusuf can be the winner, Mirabel can be second, then Dapo that sings like a child can be third.
I don't know why they will keep messing with people's dreams. Those that are really performing well and giving their all get evicted while people who aren't as good remain in the academy.

Mehn... You guys should check out the exclusive videos on the project fame website... There are really fun videos there. I watched one that had the contestants dancing. There are really good dancers among them... Steve is number 1... Gabriel too can move

Yaaaaaayyyyy!!!! Arese won. I'm soooooo happy for her. She deserves it.
I was rooting for Chike also but I believe some of the others deserved to win more than he did. He has a lovely voice no doubt but that wasn't enough to win it. He didn't act like someone who was in a competition. It wouldn't have been fair on others who really put their all in the competition if Chike had won. Contests are never totally fair anyway more so when sentimental voters are involved.
I don't think Chike is over-confident though.... I think he just doesn't push himself when performing .... The same way he was in project fame.
Nonso didn't win...... I'm sad about that..My number 1 contestant.. I really hoped he would make it to the top four.
I'm just glad A'rese won, she was my second favourite after Nonso.
TV/Movies / Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 1 (official Thread) by BelovedN(f): 1:52pm On Jul 22, 2016
Nice thread..... The only reason I'm still watching this show is because of Nonso, Chike, Arese and a few others, although, Chike is actually pissing me off. I haven't really enjoyed any of his performances since his blind audition.
I was really angry when Joe blue left and I became anti-team Timi for a while.
I thought I was the only one who doesn't really feel Cornel.... I don't know what the hype about him is... He can sing but I don't get any wow effect from him...
Give me Nonso any day..

I just started watching... Watched the blind auditions. It really is going to give project fame a run for its money. The contestants are also very good. It's going to be a tough competition.
I saw Chike from Project fame.... Mehn, the guy killed his song.... He gave me goosebumps.
Joe blue also, from Nigerian Idol. Anyway, I'm rooting for those two.

Stop speaking out of ignorance. I just concluded my youth service in Abuja and I didn't manipulate my posting. I also know of many others who didn't manipulate theirs.
The negativity on this thread is so saddening. These are young people who are trying to bring about change in the little way they can and yet people are throwing insults at them. Some are even accusing the president of having political ambitions SMH. Those of you who do not have political ambitions, what part have you played in the fight against corruption. Whether they have ulterior motives or not is nobody's business, let's all learn to appreciate those that are at least trying to bring about positive change.
