1 not all businesses receive government bailouts. Many businesses fail without any government assistance.
2 decisions made in response to systemic economic crises, not just individual business failures. It is to stabilize the economy as a whole, not just to protect specific companies.
3 individuals are still responsible for their own financial decisions. Taking risks is part of entrepreneurship, and not all risks pay off.
It's important to have a nuanced understanding of these issues.

Well thanks for acknowledging they deserve more. They deserve whatever the market price is for CEO's. There's nothing else to say about that other than to encourage those who think they can do better to just go ahead and start companies based on their notions of equitable pay. This is one reason why labour unions are a joke. Why try dictating to management when they can get together and form their own company and implement their own rules? They have thousands of members and can easily raise the capital required.



Nigerians need to stop looking at the NOW and pay more attention to the HOW. The average CEO that you see is not a product of his or her effort alone. The point has been made over and over that SUCCESS is a generational pursuit. The bountiful RESULTS that have become targets of envy are the accummulation of labour, blood, sweat and tears invested over generations. That is how INHERITANCE works and it's not just money. Look at sports & entertainment, it's the same thing.

Notice how so many Asian Indian CEO's like Vivek Ramaswamy or top politicians like Rishi Sunak are children of medical doctors? The father of Kemi Badenoch is a medical doctor too. It takes a lot of work to qualify and practice as a medical doctor and then pour the accummulated capital into a child who goes on to achieve superlative performance. Again, nobody falls from the sky with capital.

CEOs just don't sit around and do nothing. I have worked with them in the UK and their decisions are always in the direction of efficiency. The compensation CEOs get, especially at higher levels, are often tied to performance metrics such. stock prices, growth, and profitability. All this results while involving a team, are influenced significantly by strategic decisions made at the top. The value created by these decisions can far exceed the cost those compensation.

Take Elon Musk and Tesla for example. if a CEO's leadership results in a billion-dollar increase in company valuation, a multi-million-dollar salary might be seen as a justified return on investment.

Elon promised this and took all the risk as investors and everyone sat back with their popcorn and watched. Now it's time to cash out bad actors are fighting it.

I didn't have a weekend, While my staff were home chilling with their family. My entire weekend I will be at the business doing paper work to govt, planning for the week, sorting payroll. One time I got a new place, had to renovate. I was working with the Hispanic construction guys full time, Painting oh, carrying stuff, One time the bathroom got blocked na me get "snake" from home depot to fix it. Some people do not understand, they are driven by envy. The CEO's job is to make sure others continue to get paychecks, stay competitive, and adapt to the ever-changing business environment. An accountant does not influence the direction a company may take.

1) I don't understand this sentence. IF you're claiming women work longer hours for less, that is wrong. In any workplace women likely work fewer hours than men.

2) Men have never been GIVEN the upper hand by any human or political bias.

Nature gave men the upper hand....bigger muscle mass for example. When it comes to IQ, averages are the same for both genders but males tend to have higher presence at the lowest and highest IQ percentile, while women have higher presence in between.

For most of human existence, muscle mass was the most prized commodity and conferred superiority and power. By the way, men with small muscles and physique were just as powerless as women back in those days.

As humanity grew richer, more jobs that needed brain power and less muscle became available and women could participate MORE in the economy and earning money.

When laws that have been made for women's sex-based rights are modified to allow for gender identification, you have cases of males being put in women's prisons where they end up raping them. These days, studies can be made to push narratives, and all sorts of journals are being accepted to push these crazy gender ideologies.

During my BSc, I had a lecturer who was a man in my first year. He interacts with people and has conversations with a class that is packed with guys (STEM). This dude transitioned and started carrying handbags. His interaction with people dropped so bad, he is always alone, doing stuff alone. I don't see women around him, nor does he interact with other academic staff he used to interact with.

Our brain just does not agree everything is normal.

Contrast that to gay guys who always have girls around them and boys interacting with them with no issue.

The main issue is how what these people want is not enough when they get it. They tend to want to expand, force everyone to their will, and make everyone look like them.

I know a female friend who owns a law firm and one of her staff got a lengthy paid maternity leave and she resumed with another pregnancy, the lady employer had to have a sit down with her on how this situation will not work for the business and she might have to let her go to chase her personal dreams of having multiple kids
