You are massively stupid 🤣🤣

Bret Baier was not the reason Kamala was dodging questions all through and couldn't answer basic questions

Baier: More than 70% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track. If you're turning the page, you've been in office for 3.5 years
Kamala: "And Donald Trump has been running for office."
Baier: "But you've been the person holding the office."
The interview was live. Nothing was edited.

Okay, Bret posted the wrong clip, which is edited. There is no way you will not post an edited clip of the potion you wanted to show.

You are feeding on the media trying to convince you that Harris did badly because of Bret baier and fox news
Guess what stupid, on the friendly networks she has been doing bad 🤣🤣

This is why your life is full of excuses.

Dumdum where in what I posted was 1000% mentioned?
Bait and switch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Trump said somethings about tariff, I said don't take him literally because he is just talking about tariff as a tool not necessarily what he will do with it. I said to know he is not speaking literally look at how he used it in his last administration. Ewu like you who do not understand anything says he meant it literally. Okay, that's how Ewu like you did with the bloodbath controversy.

SO WHERE DID I SAY YOU POSTED ANYTHING ABOUT 1000%

you cannot even understand the point i am making.
I was asking you, do you also take him literally when he said he will put 1000% tariffs? Use your head man.

i agree, that is why the population of Indians and Philippians are growing massively in USA.
They grow everywhere they see free stuff. Just relax your immigration, they will flood in. If their country is so good because they help each other they won't be running. I know you say abroad. Yeah, they help each other because of racism.
TravelRe: Nigeria Man Answers Question About Black Folks Not Helping Each Other Abroad by bemeruca: 4:14pm On Oct 18, 2024
What he is saying is bullshit. Nigerians helping each other is always based on tribalism. Warri guy no problem, you can get helped by many Nigerians that is not igbo or yoruba abroad. I know a guy who introduced two of his friends to each other. The next day both of them are speaking yoruba when the 3 of them are together. They saw him as an outsider. He does not even know if they were talking about him in his presence.

Indians go to countries and start corruptions and they are one of the most racists group on earth if not the most.

It's a flood the zone with bullshit strategy. Say any and everything and each voter takes from it what they want.
His tariff policy is nonsensical.
It's both a negotiating strategy and yet will raise revenue, but it's not a tax and won't raise prices.
And he assumes, other countries won't put on retaliatory tariffs.
It's like saying you can eat all the candy and ice cream you want, not exercise and you'll never gain weight.

Rhetoric for the uneducated masses.
And no surprise who here is parroting it.
Other countries are already taxing the US. Let them put it then. We will know which country is more important. Biden kept the bad tariff policy from trump plus he added more.

Common sense is not your forte

No, you are too stupid to take some of the things he says literally. Again, do you believe he is going to put a tariff of 1000% on goods?

You have 4 years of his presidency as a reference. Go figure. Some basic things are too complex for you.

This is why we have the bloodbath scandal 🤣

Excerpt of Donald Trump Time Interview
Let’s shift to the economy, sir. You have floated a 10% tariff on all imports, and a more than 60% tariff on Chinese imports. Can I just ask you now: Is that your plan?

Trump: It may be more than that. It may be a derivative of that. A derivative of that. But it will be somebody—look when they come in and they steal our jobs, and they steal our wealth, they steal our country.

When you say more than that, though: You mean maybe more than 10% on all imports?

Trump: More than 10%, yeah.
Yeah, right, take what he did in his first term; Trump is not stupid. Do you think he will put a 1000% tariff on any product?

The problem with you is that you are taking his words literally, even if you have an idea of what he did with tariffs before.

He has a good idea and the US market is vital to many countries. His main focus is even US companies producing outside. They will be taxed fully, and on top of that, they will pay tariffs.

This guy explains it better.

I believe he is using it as a tool and it won't be on everything.

Trump has used tariffs before and it was not across the board.

Oga we are discussing Trump's proposed tariffs not how tariffs work. Trump said he was going to tariff ALL IMPORTS.

The US DOES NOT produce palm oil so if Trump puts a tariff on it that will increase the price of goods that require it for production.
Nonsense. Quote Trump saying he will put tariffs on everything.

Do you understand economics or tariffs? Did you read my previous post?

Also, palm oil is a finished product, not raw materials. How does putting a tariff on imported cars from Europe increase the price of steel? Two completely different things.

🤦🏿‍♂️
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by bemeruca: 1:13pm On Oct 18, 2024

Every problem must be because of someone else

Point 1 is because of price gouging not because farmers and manufacturers are having to pay more to produce the same goods so who will pay for the increase in cost of production.

Point 2. How much is too much rent? When landlords are paying record high interest rates on mortgages who should bear the cost? Or landlord should be paying for people to live free

Point 3. If interest rates come down, developers will build more homes, prices will fall. That's what the free market is about
She has a magic Wand she will use to control how landlords charge for rent
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by bemeruca: 1:10pm On Oct 18, 2024
LordReed:
Actually, it's you who doesn't understand. This is what my first question was: Do you understand that local production also involves imported raw materials/parts? Therefore, an increase in tariffs is also going to cause the manufacturers to increase the price of these locally produced goods? And you go on about cars which are finished goods.

Lemme help you understand. The US does not produce palm oil, so it has to import it exclusively and it is a raw material for at least 12 different products including soap, chocolate, pizza, cookies and so on. Trump says he will impose 20% tariff increase on ALL IMPORTS not just finished goods so what happens to local production of these aforementioned goods if that happens?

NO. Most of these jobs go abroad due to cheap labour. As far back as the 70s and 80s American manufacturing jobs started getting sent to Asia where they could easily set up sweat shops to produce goods cheaper. It had little to do with taxes. And Republicans were in power for most of the 80s so definitely not tax related.

Trump said ALL IMPORTS are getting hit with tariffs. Yes, it's true you impose tariffs to bolster local production on competing goods, but Trump is not limiting his tariffs is he.

Huh? Was Joe Biden president when Trump started selling his Trump branded shirts, ties and cuff links? And note I am not talking about MAGA T-shirts. These where stuff he was selling even before Obama was president.

Trickle down economics didn't work when Trump was president so doing more of what didn't work won't make it work.
Oga, there is a reason I said cars not goods or imports because tariffs are not put on everything.

Help yourself understand because you still don't know how tariffs are use especially in the context of Trump.

The US produce palm oil so it puts a tarriff on palm oil coming in from other countries not the raw materials. This is the basic thing you are not understanding in supply chain. Raw materials go into a transformation process and become a finished product. Finished product is not equal raw materials.

Your country is producing cars, unless you have domestic companies that produce metal, you don't put tariffs on metal but you put on cars. A car is not metal.

How NYT saw it. Six takeaways.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/16/us/politics/kamala-harris-fox-news-interview.html
Kamala Harris' new commercials identify her economic plans.

1. going after price-gougers. she n her handlers did not admit that the government printing press is a factor in the cause of inflation. Just as the Soviet Union used to scapegoat black marketeers Kamala scapegoats unnamed price-gougers
2. Promise to crack down on landlords for charging too much for rent. so how much is too much?
3. This one I cannot fault, a legit way to fight rising housing costs but it is a very slow solution. Harris promises to solve the problem of skyrocketing housing prices by causing the federal government to build more homes.

If given the opportunity to go back to October 6, Would Hamas with benefit of hindsight have gone ahead with that attack?
I know Hamas doesnt care about Palestinians/Gazan lives, but the losses to the top hierarchy of Hezbollah, Hamas and the heat on Iran now

Would the 3 orgs Hamas Hezbollah and IRGC have changed course and not attacked Israel if they knew we would be here today.

Of course Israel has got a lot of soldiers, civilians plus the bad image and press since then. Is that gain for Hamas equal to the losses of their top hierarchies
they wouldn't have done things. the plan is to attack Israel take hostages and then Hezbollah do the same thing overwhelming Israel because they cannot fight a war on 2 fronts. But all Hezbollah could do was fire rockets toward Israel and give empty threats thinking it would distract Israel from attacking and when push comes to shove, Iran is there to open another front.
recent revelation shows Hezbollah was planning the same kind of incursion into Israel.

problem is, all these are lip services. Hezbollah never expected Israel to invade Lebanon thinking Hamas would keep Israel busy with their tunnels. it turns out the heavily armed Hezbollah is doing a lot worse than Hamas in fighting Israel.

1. Do you understand that local production also involves imported raw materials/parts? Therefore, an increase in tariffs is also going to cause the manufacturers to increase the price of these locally produced goods?
I don't think you understand what I said or the concept of tariffs.
China, Japan, and the EU all have tariffs imposed on American cars. If the US puts tariffs on European cars, it will protect domestic car manufacturers and if they put huge tariffs on Domestic companies manufacturing abroad, that may force them to bring manufacturing back home. with reduced tax, they may bring manufacturing back home

LordReed:
2. Do you realise that many manufacturing jobs were taken outside the US because of cheap labour? Therefore, those same goods manufactured in the US will by necessity be more expensive than those imported ones?
which is why tariffs on imported goods will help and also cutting taxes will help as well. Most of those jobs go abroad due to high taxes.
LordReed:
3. Do you realise that there are certain goods that cannot be had in the US that is why they are imported? Like fruits for example, 50 to 60% of fruits consumed in the US is imported. Do you not see what would happen if those prices go up?
you only put tariffs on competing goods. tariffs are not meant for all goods.
LordReed:
4. How many of the Trump branded stuff is produced in the US? The Trump Bible isn't, the shoes aren't, watch isn't. Not even the MAGA hat is. If Trump is so concerned about local production, why has he consistently failed to produce his branded stuff in the US?
ask Joe Biden. it is his economy
LordReed:
5. The tax thing is just trickledown economics by another name. And it has never worked.
call it whatever you want but joe biden did not touch the tariffs trump put in place and he did not attack the tax cut much
