When I say bodily autonomy is the ultimate freedom. I mean it should be even greater than the freedoms in our Bill of Rights. So, take the freedom of Speech. Government can't regulate speech unless under certain circumstances. Aside: Think about that, people want you to believe you have an absolute right to say what you want but you do not have the right to control the thing saying those words.
Anyhow because of that right I don't think the government can regulate who helps you with an abortion. The government can regulate goods for the public good/patient harm. What would be the public good/patient harm in this case that would Trump your own fredoms? And if 'society/government' stopped investing in these goods. Ok. I'm sure there are people who are comfortable doing so that would continue to.

As for the drug example. Yes, the government does have a vested interest in regulating certain drugs for the "public good"/patient harm, can't have super wasted people driving cars etc etc or drugs that kill 90% of the people that use them that people think are safe. But, I can make an argument that there should be limits to that as well. And I think that's changing. Even Trump signed a law allowing the use of experimental treatments to terminally ill patients.



Just to quickly follow up
1.) It's a longer discussion of Bodily Autonomy than I want to have. But I think at the minimum to have Bodily autonomy you can not be inside the body of someone else.
2.) How society views the fetus and how society feels pregnant women are again irrelevant. You're feelings/views don't matter when it comes to my rights. I can call you an ugly idiot, which could upset you, but would that matter as to my right to Free Speech? Why then would your feelings matter to my right of freedom of bodily decisions?
