The pardon process is meant to correct injustice.

Biden's son was prosecuted for things no other person would have been prosecuted for.
He was prosecuted for Taxes after he paid back his taxes (look at how Roger Stone was handled), and a drug gun charge that is only prosecuted in the commission of another felony, which he didn't commit.
They went after him in a heavy handed way only because of he was Biden's son. It was selective prosecution.
The original plea deal was more than fair to the prosecution. In fact it was even unfair to him as again most people wouldn't have been even looked at for the things he did.
So, Biden pardoned his son who was selective prosecuted for things that the average person wouldn't have been. That was unjust.

Now make the case for the commutation of George Santos, outside the fact that he votes Republican. What was unjust that happened to him?

In the real world all things aren't equal. You should figure out why your brain has to make them so to defend the nonsense the party you cheer for does.
