Education / Re: Outcome Of 2024 Utme Results, Who Is To Be Blamed? Parents, Teacher Or Students? by ben1daEbiri(m): 6:16am On May 01 |
edungene7: Bro these youngings make videos and post on tiktok, make perfect edits with their 16/17yr old boyfriends and girlfriends but CBT exam that can be figured out within 10mins is were you draw the line. Anyone who's not versed enough to take CBT in 2024 should forget about tertiary education. |
Education / Re: Outcome Of 2024 Utme Results, Who Is To Be Blamed? Parents, Teacher Or Students? by ben1daEbiri(m): 3:45pm On Apr 30 |
oluwaseyi0: I beg to disagree. You'll pass if you read using JAMB syllabus. My first JAMB was CBT and my strategy was give myself a target of atleast 50/100 for each subject and a total of 200/400. Meanwhile I expect 200/400 to be poor and guess what I scored 200 but couldn't secure admission with it, the following year I scored 232 and was admitted. |
Education / Re: Outcome Of 2024 Utme Results, Who Is To Be Blamed? Parents, Teacher Or Students? by ben1daEbiri(m): 3:41pm On Apr 30 |
edungene7: I can't but say this is a lame excuse. JAMB has been CBT for atleast 10yrs now. Before your exam day, a mock exam is conducted especially to familiarise students with CBT but MOST students don't make take the mock exam. There can be problems with server and all that but saying someone failed because of little or no knowledge of CBT in 2024 is unacceptable. |
Business / Re: Multichoice Rejects French Firm, Canal Plus' $1.69bn Offer by ben1daEbiri(m): 3:27pm On Feb 06 |
I think Canal is offering on their projection to be able to make profit too. The thing is, I don't see DSTV turning around their fortune soon especially with the falling naira. They'll spend more of their revenue paying for football rights alone. They also have to pay for salary, operating cost, tax, egunje and the rest. It's not easy doing business in Nigeria, you'll pay through your nose. No wonder They now call people on the phone begging them to subscribe. 2 Likes 1 Share |

FireUpNow: Keep playing. With a data of 5k+ per month and 3900 for showmax I'm assured to watch Arsenal matches for an entire month. There are so many of us that stream matches on match days. Before hesgoal was closed down they drove loads of traffic on matchdays. 2 Likes |

Omoapena: It's funny when companies do this. It's a very flawed logic. When you ask for more they'll say they can't afford to pay you that but when you ask for less they'ld be more than willing to pay you that despite have a payment structure. |

Demigod22: Here's my advice: If the role is for entry-level and you've had no prior experience then take it. Again staying idle at home can cause you depression. If you still have atleast 50% of your salary left after transportation then take it. |

Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 12:18pm On May 08, 2023 |
baralatie:This your take is really laughable. Roads and tires are now perishable goods? So you mean transporters change roads and tires every single time they goto the market? These women literally fix prices for their products with reckless abandon so the transports in turn whose wives buy them in the market have to charge them but not at the ridiculous price the market women fix. This looks like the case of the chick and egg which came first but me going to the market several times has helped me crack it. This one is solely on the market women. My 33k allowee has finished since 29th and I gotten even buy some things I bought the previous month prices keep increasing meanwhile the price of fuel has become somewhat stable. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 12:10pm On May 08, 2023 |
CodeTemplar: That means it would've only gone higher. See this country is almost beyond redemption. Greed and selfishness is the other of the day. A Nigerian would rather buy a boat to cross to the other side than advocate for a bridge to be built so everybody can access it. Nobody cares just what for your turn to loot and go. I'm tired abeg. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 12:07pm On May 08, 2023 |
baralatie: It is inherently cheaper than our market women make us believe. Again they sell their products per unit price of transportation. Tell me what that is if it isn't daylight robbery. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 12:04pm On May 08, 2023 |

Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 12:02pm On May 08, 2023 |
baralatie: I wrote about this extensively on another thread. Our market women want insane profit margins for their products that isn't commensurate with the price of transportation. The problem is greed! If you know the cost price plus transportation of most of our daily commodities you'll engage in a brawl with even that your "customer" that you think is selling it cheaper. I won't say more than this regarding this issue. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 11:57am On May 08, 2023 |
mrvitalis: I like the message your trying to pass regarding voting right but Nigerians are one of the most taxed in the world as compared to minimum wage. We have to different countries in one. One part generates revenue through taxes on alcohol while the other part destroys alcoholic products but would engage in revenue sharing accrued from the same product they hate so much but enjoy in secret. This country don tire me abeg. I dey gex this morning like this. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 11:52am On May 08, 2023 |
mrvitalis: Who are the "Government"? Who do they give these loans to? How will they make profit to pay back with incessant policies being drafted by power-hungry power who once in while engage in d i c k-measuring contest? Lack of continuity has left this country with uncompleted infrastructural projects lying idle everywhere amounting to trillions. Do you know how many people lost their businesses because Ewemefiewele and Ahab in connivance with the Supreme Court were playing in the sand? Whatever it is that's generated would only be looted while another mad Who would continue enters to chase shadows for another 8yrs. See I'm tired of typing. These old people don't want this country to work, they know what to do but won't do it. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 11:41am On May 08, 2023 |
mrvitalis: I've mentioned in several threads regarding subsidy that the greatest enemy we have against subsidy removal are the market women. They increase price at will since no one is regulating it while the government hopes for competition to drive prices down. To circumvent this, the form unions and fix prices making competition almost impossible. Even if market women magically transport their products to the market, they'll still include the price of transport per unit of their product and this irks me the most. On your second point about petrol being taxed is really ludicrous. The country will turn into the wild west if you do that without an alternative especially power. Any country that has successfully done this has stable power so correct me if I'm wrong. Our economy is too dependent on it unlike developed countries where there's constant power and so many people have adopted electric cars. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 11:33am On May 08, 2023 |
RepoMan007: This was the bases by which subsidy was continually increasing. You don't pay half subsidy on any commodity as it can lead to inflation or increase in price of the subsidised product. The importer will simply increase the price by the unit which the government is subsidising it for. In all these the consumer bears the brunt. |
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Spending On Petrol May Jump 250% To ₦8 Trillion by ben1daEbiri(m): 11:27am On May 08, 2023 |
CodeTemplar: Your proposal is funny. Nigerians especially people in power are highly ingenious in mischief and sabotage. They'll know it's just temporary and would wait out the entire window of the test only to needlessly cumulate the profit when subsidy is permanently removed. My take is that they already did the test-run months ago when price rose to a price average of #500/ltr while it was termed a strike action my importers. They wanted to test our resolve to see if we would adapt as usual which we did, that's why they're bold enough to propose an increase of over #700/ltr. My problem with subsidy removal is that we're gonna leave free momey for an irresponsible leader to loot; both ways the average Nigerian is at loss. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Administration1: Let me give you the sole reason why it's gonna work? It is because it is privately owned! What the cabal can do is partner with him which do many of the already did with the help of FG because going alone would attract flies (EFCC) to them. Dangote already spent a lot on this refinery so why would he allow them sabotage it? Again he dines and wine's with the cabal so they already sorted themselves out. |
Education / Re: Miracle Anele, Rivers University SUG President & His Bodyguard (Photos) by ben1daEbiri(m): 6:28pm On May 06, 2023 |
Hotwest: This is very wrong. You're seeing this from more than 15yrs ago when it was still Rivers State University of Science and Technology. Cultism is almost dead in the school as they've employed more security measures and yahoo making it very unattractive. Also the school have a very young population now unlike years ago when you have men as students. When I when to process my kid brother's admission I saw people bolding brandishing their phones and gadgets in the open which anyone who graduated from the school from 10-15yrs ago will agree wasn't possible. I graduated from the school so this is from the horse's mouth. Again those pictures aren't from the scout campus and that stjnt isn't necessarily for security purposes as there's no need for that unless he has done something wrong that would make him need a personal guard. What so many people won't want to admit is that yahoo really curtailed cultism in that school and other schools too elsewhere. Gadgets were constantly stolen and sold at Garrison but that's not very common again because why risk stealing when you can just buy any phone from proceeds of yahoo? The school has really gotten better especially with infrastructure and a few years from now cultism will die off totally. 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Postponement Of Subsidy Removal Disappointing, Says Magnus Abe by ben1daEbiri(m): 4:18pm On May 01, 2023 |
Ayomipoe: You get my point. When a thief is caught fellow thieves join hands to deliver jungle justice. Tinubu wouldn't want to remove subsidy yet as there's money to be made by importers, he wouldn't want to be the sacrificial lamb to suffer the backlash of a very angry and frustrated 200m people. Again I maintain that Tinubu can't be trusted with subsidy funds. Remember were talking about billions of dollars here. The effect of its removal may not reach the comman man. The big question is if the end justifies the means; for now the answer is NO. So many Nigerians wouldn't mind the hardship if the can reap the benefits of subsidy removal. It's a long way from here man and it's not going to be easy. 1 Like |

chicoMX: The tricky thing about this subsidy of a thing is that we're expecting fuel prices to be around #500–600/ltr. This is the same prices we had when there was scarcity of if months ago with about 50-100% increase in fares but when subsidy is permanently removed its gonna be worse. My point is that the country is already in distress but greed amongst ourselves isn't helping. Market women aren't helping us at all, they want big profit margins for each sale they make sighting increase in cost price which isn't always the case. When they do this the transporters would be left with no other option than to increase prices too. Whether subsidy is removed now or later its not gonna be easy, tough times ahead. |
Politics / Re: Postponement Of Subsidy Removal Disappointing, Says Magnus Abe by ben1daEbiri(m): 3:17pm On May 01, 2023 |
Ayomipoe: We all know thus but our fear is that if subsidy is done in a haste the country would implode. Why do you think Buhari didn't remove it? What will happen will be 3 times of that with the ill-thought cashless policy during the election. Anyone who removes subsidy would have a largesse to look from that's why subsidy removal should only be handled by someone who atleast has some trust with funds — that person is not Tinubu! He's scared he may not be re-elected with the new found hardship and chaos he must have thrown Nigerians into. Would you mind paying #500 for fair that used to be #100? The consequences would be too much, I mean much more than the problem of racketeering of oil products across the border that we're trying to fix. |

I noticed that every comment from a woman regarding this Hakimi saga is so unintelligent. Reading them further exposes how retarded women are. So much nonsense being spewed just to defend nonsense.
