you see this corpers' lodge, it is a den of mosquitoes and giant rats. Opposite it is okowa's state of the art secretariat, and it is located in GRA asaba. I slept in it for 1 full year 2019-2020.
Delta State is too dirty. I'm serving at PTI Warri and the corpers Lodge is riddled with mosquitoes too. I was temporarily staying with an acquaintance at jakpa Road close to wood Market and was riddled with mosquitoes too added that the power supply was poor so I had to run to the lodge which had power supply similar to my place in Rivers State. I weep for this State, they've had very useless Governors.

Hi guys..
Please, does anyone knows when 2023 Batch B registration will commence?
It's always 3 months between batches and 1month between streams; sometimes can be less than a month. This has been the sequence apart from this year being and election year and all that NPC squabbles. If batch A stream I goes to camp in January, batch A stream II will goto by February. Batch B stream I will goto camp by April (3 months later) while batch B stream II will be in camp by May and so on. Sometimes there could be exceptions especially between streams like mine was batch C stream II 2022 we went to camp just a week after stream I left camp because they didn't want us to spend Christmas in camp. So you should count atleast 3months from when A stream II will leave camp, you should also consider that there may be an exception too since A stream II took so long this year.

Let me ask you a question? What does it signify by the wife getting a maid and the husband telling the wife to pay the maids fees?
Her work schedule might be hectic but reading through the thread you can see through her sheer unwillingness to make the marriage work. The effort is too one-sided. It's only a matter of time before OP passes breaking point. She makes good money (~800k/month) so he can afford to pay a maid since she's failed to do the basic things a woman should in her marriage. She's also depriving the husband of sex; see there are too many of these kind of movie script in nollywood and we all know how most of them end. If the OP starts engaging the made for sex then she's doomed. I'll give you one little advice: Never outsource cooking for your husband to a maid! You job might me demanding and all that but make out to time to cook for your husband as much as you can even if you have a made. These little things increases the bind and synergy in marriage. If a maid that cooks food your husband eats has an eye for your husband she can do it with so much ease either my making very delicious meals or use juju and in some cases both. There's so much already to end the marriage and you can see the OP is thr one holding onto it. Please don't try defending this nonsense again!

Lest say the wife pays for everything in the house: does her husband not deserve any love and respect because she foots the bills? If you're married you won't do such If you want to really enjoy you're marriage, if you're yet to marry I pray we live long enough to see you make your own thread if you behave like the OP's wife. We can all agree that if the OP was someone else she'll be sent packing already. This here really one of the reasons our parents had very good marriages that has lasted a lifetime but you lot still slate your mothers that they were "abused". In many Nigerian families today, mothers were lowkey running the family either doing 9-5 of some form of trade but still loved and respected their husbands. Again I'll warn you ahead of time; if you're single please don't go I to marriage eith this mindset because you may not be as lucky as the OP's wife who got married to a woman that seem to be disillusioned about the basic tenets of marriage.

Did you read my Soln? All the bills and fees? Well, the wife is paying for some stuff like gas, baby diapers etc and I’m pretty sure he is not paying for his wife ‘s personal maintenance like clothes, etc. The husband is just paying for the things he still has to pay for even if he was still single like a roof over his head, the food he eats etc, so it’s not like he’s even going out of his way too much with the bills. I’m pretty sure the wife supplements the money she is given without even letting him know. Imagine bringing out just 75k to feed a family of five for a month.

Well, the wife is now stressed and the household is unhappy. She is already running after 2 children. Can’t add another one. She has left the big child aka the husband to take care of himself. Whaddaya gonna do about it except come to Nairaland to complain. Lol.
Reading your reply gives me stroke and is making me retarded so this is going to be my last reply: what happens to the wife speaking up so it can be resolved? You can see the OP is making so much effort to de-escalate the situation but the wife is not ready for that. A man's literally begging to ve loved and respected in his marriage and this weak defence is what you come up with? I'm sure you'll never take this sh.it if someone was doing it to your brother. You're the type that will overrun your sister inlaw in the slightest of provocation but here you are foaming in the mouth because he's not your brother?

You are crazy. She is working herself to death, her main job and side hustles in addition to looking after 2 children, cooking, household chores etc probably cos the husband’s salary is not enough and you are talking about love and respect.

The husband is just covering himself and the children’s upkeep from what I gleaned from his write up and the foolish op does not even realize that, or maybe he does but just playing smart, yet he expects her to keep him very comfortable.
Did you read the part that says they gave a housemaid? The husband's salary is not enough but she rakes ~800k/month. What does she do with all that money? The OP also stated that he pays all the bills and fees. We're you blind to that? Women supporting women indeed!
FamilyRe: Frustrated With My Wife by ben1daEbiri(m): 8:32pm On Apr 10, 2023
BloomingDale:
She also works, so her job workload and household chores might be too much for her. Taking care of 2 children alone can sap someone’s energy, talk more of adding cooking and house chores to it.

Tell her to split some bills with you and then you can help out with the cooking and the house chores and also looking after the children to give her a break.

Her heavy workload might also be leading to a low sex drive. An exhausted wife is an unhappy and angry wife.
I see. So a man that marries a woman who does a tasking job doesn't deserve love and respect? The comments from these women is ridiculous!

I don't want to believe this is real because it sounds like one of those nollywood cooked up sh.it. You have to man up! For a woman that had boldly asked Rory divorce I think you should do just that. You can't fix this especially when the effort to do it is one sided. You'll only keep on enduring the marriage. OP a part of me honestly rhinks she's using the bible and church as a front because theirs no how any sane human would be so clutched to bible and church activities and it wouldn't rob off in her lifestyle. The last time a girl told me she needed some "space" I feigned ignorance and felt we could salvage the relationship. She kept on frustrating me so I had no other option than to end it since that was what she clearly wanted. OP yours is marriage and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it: pull the plug now for your sanity! It will be hard and bitter but you have to do it. Once a woman starts showing these signs, she's already emotionally detached from you long before that. What's the point of putting up with a woman who doesn't love or respect you? At some point her loyalty will come to question.

The western urchins won’t think that way bro. To them, anything the west says is always correct, not trying to use their brain that the west serves only their own myopic interest and not anyone else’s. They destroyed Iraq unprovoked and shunned international law then without consequences. But young Africans, what had happened to thy juvenile brains 😫
So many people think the US is the next best thing after Jesus Christ but are very wrong.
The US shouldn't be meddling at other people's issues at this point. They should rather concentrate on the failing institutions that have become an object of mockery lately. The whole of Africa is still suffering from the influx of weapons from the Arabian spring and other chaos initiated by the US and it's allies. It's always easy to bring in weapons but getting them off becomes a huge task. Ukraine and the whole Scandinavia is going to suffer for this influx of weapons in a few years. Warlords would thrive and render almost all the aid that the US would render. Another Afghanistan and Syria is about to unfold right in our eyes but the thieving, ISIS weapon selling country that loves world peace isn't ready for that. I could go on and one but these people already believe that the US is the messiah. Right now let's focus on the hardship APCPDP have brought and sell our votes again first on Saturday. We'll come to this discussion later.

Both countries are actually quite racist. Some folks are cashing out on the war as usual. They had better push further for a peaceful resolution, rather than expect put putin to call for a ceasefire. I doubt that happening.

I said this in a similar thread yesterday. Putin will never call for a ceasefire without his own terms on the forefront. How long will Ukraine hold on for? They can be getting funds and weapons from the US but the damage is on Ukrainian soil. Putin would mind channel even rubble to the war and Biden has also reiterated is unwavering support for Ukraine but the question remains at what cost? Putin is not going to pay a dime in reparations to Ukraine. It's better to bury egos now and negotiate for peace. Germany being forced to pay reparations for WW1 from a nonexistent vault was one of the reasons WWII started.

If the US is so concerned about world peace they should be pushing for a ceasefire instead of chosing a side but no, weapons must be sold and money must be made.

Zelenskiy is a fool for letting this war start in the first place. I've been saying this and I'm not sorry for that. Two elephants are fighting and he chose to be the grass. If the war spirals out of control the US playing big brother to Ukraine may not be left out.

When he contracted the law school project to private individuals he went as far as calling the contractors wives to remind their husbands not to squander Rivers State money without doing the project because when he comes to arrest their husbands he'll also arrest them too 😂😂.
Again he constantly remind JB that he gave them money for road projects during the raining season so they also have to work during the raining season, if they won't they should return the money.

There are several ways the war could end. Once Russians are suffering, they will rebel against Putin. CIA operatives are very active at the background, they can back a General with huge financial resources to topple Putin.

At this point, the risk to Putin is so high. After Ukrainians have committed so much to defend their lands with blood, they wont let go of their lands. I repeat, Putin cannot be appeased with this tendency for land grab.

Apologies accepted.

How do you negotiate with a man who has insatiable appetite for another country's land? President Biden in warsaw said today that Putin could end this way today if he orders his troops out of Ukraine but if Ukraine stops fighting, there will be no more sovereign Ukraine.

You cannot appease Putin. He gambled with this war that NATO would not be able to cooperate but he was wrong.

At a point, negotiation will take place but Ukraine must be in a position of strength to negotiate by winning and reclaiming their lands back from Putin's Russia.
And you think Putin would want to negotiate when Ukraine is winning the war knowing that the conditions wouldn't favour them? You see this leaves us in a loop. For the war to end anytime soon both parties would've to swallow their pride and negotiate. I'm sorry but Ukraine would have to let go of the region(s) Russia have occupied and Russia in the other hand would have to reach some kind of treaty not to attack or push further. Ukraine wouldn't agree to these terms we have a very tricky situation in our hands. The best way to end a war? Don't even start it!

Your takeaway - do not come to open platform and spiral out of control. Be civil. Make your point without being a loose cannon. Represent your family and unborn generation well.
I'm sorry for the first paragraph. I agree I spiralled out of control.

At this point the West have realised that economic sanctions aren't working against Russia so they have to try something else. Confronting Russia head one would be a bad idea for both parties — I mean the whole world. Anyone who's ready to outspend and hold onto this war the longest would win it. Honestly there's not gonna be a winner in this war. Ukraine is pretty much holding onto the Russian offensive while the US is steadily dooling out cash and arms. The free world will not allow authoritarian dictatorships to maul democratically inclined countries without offering them support that is the sort of lies that were fed to Putin before the invasion which he foolishly thought will be done and dusted in a few weeks.
Lol! This is more than just bowing to a bully. Putin warned severally before the war in Ukraine but he was the lone voice in the wilderness. No one listened to him, on a last ditch effort to avert this the French PM on alliance with the West only fuelled it. If Zelenskiy so loves his people as claimed then he would've avoided the war at all cost. Would you as a president allow the ongoing onslaught in your country? Putin right from the onset knew and has always reiterated in his speeches that the war was against the West and not Ukraine. Both parties regret the war! If Zelenskiy could turn back the hands of time he wouldn't got into the war. Putin on the other hand his expending so much in this war. The tactic the West thought they would use more or less economic. Sanction Russia to it's knees but it seems Putin was holding his cards close to his and wasn't clueless afterall. The biggest loser of this war? Ukraine!

Anyone who thinks Putin would be docked in the ICC or Russia forced to pay reparations to Ukraine must be delusion. Russia and the US dine in the same table, it's just a matter of who finished his meal first. America loves war, they don't care if they win or lose as long stocks of precision instruments and weaponry keeps pointing up they're happy. On the other hand Russian Oligarchs are also running put of patience just as Americans are frustrated that their taxes is funding a war elsewhere. Interesting times ahead!

Let me respond to the bolded one by one:

1. The western alliance is not up to 100 not to talk of over. That is a blantant exagerration by you.

2. Your strength as a Nation depends on the Quality of your friends on a global scale. The US invest heavily on its allies, and if attacked, all its allies will rise in unison to defend it. Russia too has alliance with countries like Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

3. Proxy war is allowed. Russia used it against the US in Afghanisan. It is not a new thing.

4. The West do not want to crush Russia, but turn it into a pariah nation, which it is right now. The Westerner's soldiers and serious military assets are not involved. They are toying with Russia and making Russia to deplete its military resources. Do you know how many high grade military resources that Russia has wasted in Ukraine, to the point they have to be begging North Korea and Iran for help.

5. Despite high price of Crude oil last year, Russia economy still contracted by 2.1%. That is the result of the biting sanction. Russia is also forced to sell its oil on the cheap to India and China while spending heavily in the war. Russia is withering before our very eyes, Putin knows, and that is why he became reactionary by suspending START treaty with the US.

6. It is understandable for them to be careful. Russia is a nuclear armed nation. Russia too is careful by not striking any NATO land. When a missile landed in Poland, Russia quickly started explaining that it was not her that shot the missile; that was also being careful because as mad as Putin is, he would not want a direct conflict with NATO that is backed by the United States.

Ps: NATO is not involved in the conflict. Just individual countries that make up NATO are donating firepower to Ukraine.
The West do not want to crush Russia? What are you smoking man? No body is ready to risk a nuclear Holocaust. The US won't even dare confront NK talk more of Russia. Russia won't dare confront the US too. Anyone who has nukes is treated like flies perching on the scrotum, you don't use brutal force!
