A yet to be identified man has been shot dead by some soldier in Warri, Delta state, whose alleged reason was because he was seen outside instead of observing the lockdown that was passed by the President.

A bus conductor and his passenger were seen allegedly fighting themselves in a gutter (Drainage system) because of 100 naira change.

In the video, it was seen that one of the men was forcefully trying to drown the other in the gutter. Though some passer-bys tried to separate the two, it was to no avail.

Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to explain and narrate how a prostitute he met with his friends during their undergraduate days, changed their lives.

According to AllahKaduna Nzeogwu, their relationship with the lady started off with a heated exchange after his friend who eventually married her brought her home. He said the lady was upset that she was brought to a house that had other people sleeping in it.

However after his friend got into a romantic relationship with the lady after their first encounter, she got them a job at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and other contract jobs which changed their lives for the better.

NUEE has suspended the strike by the National Union of Electricity Employees.

NUEE National President Camarade Joe Ajaero said that the understanding came after the outcome of the meeting where the grievances of the workers were addressed.

He explained, “We have concluded deliberations and all issues were addressed but we are awaiting implementation. Meanwhile, our strike action is suspended.”

Comrade Joe Ajaero, General Secretary of the NUEE says: “Following the agreement reached between NUEE and representatives of government this morning, on all the issues in contention, the Union wishes to suspend the industrial action it embarked upon to press home these demands. Consequently, members are urged to return to their duty posts while we monitor the implementation of these agreements. We would not hesitate to resume action if the agreements are not implemented.”

President Buhari has spoken on the decision by Punch Newspaper to henceforth refer to him as General Buhari.

However, in reaction to Punch’s decision, Femi Adesina, a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, said the newspaper’s decision to call Buhari ‘Major General’ is not out of order.

Adesina on his Twitter page @FemiAdesina added that Buhari has earned the rank ‘Major General’

According to him, Punch’s publication is proof of press freedom under Buhari’s administration.

Adesina wrote: “If you decide to call him Major General, he wasn’t dashed the rank, he earned it. So, you are not completely out of order.

“The fact that you can do so is even another testimony to press freedom in Nigeria.”

In our world today, the richest 1% of the population in the world controls 40% of the total wealth. And from statistics, we can say that the top 80 richest people in the world are worth more than half the world population say 3.5 billion people.

And considering these statistics, we can say there is surely something that differentiates the rich from the poor.

Most of us do think that these rich individuals would or had accumulated their wealth by winning a lottery or perhaps they were lucky to be born into wealth. Well, that isn’t true because it has been found that only 11 out of the 80 richest individuals were passed down their wealth with the other 69 having to accumulate and made their wealth through determination and hard work.

While some people live in excess, some others are living with next to nothing. And have you ever asked yourself why is that?. Sure the obvious answer is that the rich have significantly more money than the poor.

Meanwhile, what I actually meant by that question is that what is the reason behind those dollars and cents.

Just think about it. A rich individual can be living in the same city with a poor person, have access to the same jobs and opportunity and both have only 24 hours in a day, yet one might be living based on his or her salary while the other will have more money than he can spend in a lifetime.

So what truly makes the difference between someone that accumulate billions of dollar in their lifetime(Rich Individual) and someone who will struggle financially forever(Poor Person)?

A 9-years-old Nigeria boy has opened up on how he and his other classmates were sexually defiled and assaulted constantly by their teacher leaving them with a bleeding anus.

Diana Mary Nsan, the facebook user who shared this sad story online said the teacher’s evil act came to light after the 9-year-old boy was seen bleeding from his anus by his nanny who then informed his parents. The parents questioned him and he told them what the teacher has been doing to him.

The facebook user also shared a video that featured the young boy narrating the story on how the accused teacher repeatedly defiled him and his classmate. The little boy narrated how the teacher would always force him to his apartment within the school premises to rape him and how the teachers he complained to never listened to him.
