I am creating this thread for Urban and Regional Planning or related field graduates who are actively practicing in the field right now.
Even though career talks and programmes have been attended, I still feel i need to connect with the outside world and not just those between the walls of the class. I believe there are student planners on NL from various schools, practicing TPLs from various states and areaz of expertise.
Lets use this forum to help eachother both practicing and those willing to practice and some who are not sure about which one to do yet. Lets help in expanding our minds and vision towards the Town Planning profession.
Personally, i need help on insights towards Landscape Planning in Nigeria and how successful it is to specialise in such field.

I have been reading threads about marriage both good and bad ones. I am a kinda guy thats family oriented. If not for some factors. I'd be married already. But before going into this life-long commitment, one has to be sure of the basic reason behind or rather the basic purpose of this institution. So i ask my fellow NLers. What is the Primary Purpose of Marriage. i would like all aspect/views...be it believers...n non. Islamic.is welcome..(btw..i dnt undastand arabic.let it be in english). I would love a Catholica view.(as am a catholic).

Sometimes I think to my self and this question bothers my mind. when am I successful in life. Is it when I am able to feed myself. Is it when am able to feed my own family (my wife and kids). Or is it when am making about $500,000 in a year. Or rather is it when am able to impact as many lives as possible. Or is it when I preach LOVE to the world.
