We can now is evidence of a good leader, he came and look at what drains resources of his country and block. He did not come and buy new president jets, SUVs and other expensive cars for himself and other arms of government. Even one military junta was making mockery of our democracy stating and despising our democracy of being the one that kills protesters and charged them for treason. Our own democracy only provides job for politicians by creating more offices with jumbo package, while asking people to tight their belt and suffer to maintain their extravagant life style. |
badoh:You are the type that encourage our politicians to behave wickedly, you are asking us to tell where they will get money without borrowing. The simple answer is where they got money to buy jet, buy new fleets of expensive cars, SUVs for national assembly, stop inflating contract and looting our resources were the places they will get money to also pay for subsidy and other amenities to be provided for masses. |
As God lives, He will make your life to turn to the way you are wish Nigerians to live. I want you to say a loud Amen. |
FutureFocus:I totally agree with your assertion, let us convert all the forest to far land, so that there won't be a hiding place for them. If it is to prevent desertification, we can also plant trees like, cocoa, robber, orange, mango etc. |
Streetinvestor2:Please this is too much. Let spare any innocent children that distance themselves from evils of their father, but only ones that collaborated with him can be blamed. |
If speaker can influence the establish of four Federal institutions on his town, then I expect Mr president to establish about 20 or more in either Lagos or Osun even as buhari did in daira |
Urheadmaster: |
Flangelo12:How will the military gets the knowledge of war strategy without teachers' efforts? |
surgical:I completely agree with you on your opinion, this is difference between selfless leaders and self centered leaders, without negotiation, judicial officers salaries were increased by 300%, military condition of service was reversed to get 20,000 Dollars and SUVs and other retirement benefits on retirement, but in the same country, we saw a retired DSP of Police lamented on social media that her gratuity for serving Nigeria for 35 years was 1.7 million naira. The question is, what are the judges and military personnel contributing to Nigeria that doctors in the hospitals, teachers in the classrooms, lecturers in our universities etc did not do. When it comes to later classes of workers, they government we now starting negotiating with them by saying they we add 3,000 or 2,500 to their salary as if they are bargaining for price of tomato or pepper, presently some senior civil servants received less than 20% increment, according to consequential adjustment table, and till now that has not even happen. Even our children that were sent to places far away from their parent to go and serve their father land, were promised 77,000 naira, but up till now that have not taken effect. More so, this is the first time that state governments are paying more than Federal government which is very bad. |
After public display of their picture what else, it means that the loan had been fully repaid. Because if they did not pay, what else can they do. This is how one of them announced the obituary of my sister's husband to the world, just because his son collected loan in which the parents did not know anything about. If you own them, they can call you 20 times within an hour and deny you of many important calls. Apart from all this, the interest they charged is so high that it outweigh even the benefits of the loan, take for instance, we took 32,000 naira, just with a space of 38 days they charged nearly 10,000 naira as interest, and in our main bank we took 50,000 naira for the whole 6 months and the bank charged us 7,225 naira as interest we can now see that this online loan apps are out to exploits people. I don't know why government did not maintain her stand to completely ban them for defrauding people through their loan apps, or regulate interest they charged on loans. |
The man should should tell Nigerians what he meant by saying that Obi has crossed the red line and whatever he gets he should blame himself, the man should interpret that to Nigerians. |
Instead of you people use the buses to ply routes where majority of people are poor and cannot afford high cost of transportation, you placed them on airport routes, would that route benefit most Nigerian masses? |
Bobloco:I totally agreed with you on the above. In addition it is only what more than 200 millions Nigerians will lead us to bankruptcy. The act of budget padding with trillions of naira, and government establishments proposing buying computers and vehicles every year as they are consumables like fuel at highly inflated prices every year will not lead us to bankruptcy, only the subsidy payment that even witnessed a lot scam the same people that removed subsidy will lead Nigeria into bankruptcy. God will sure deliver us from the hand of our oppressors called leaders. |
I totally agreed that it is disrespect to Obasanjo. If they are really sincere with what they are doing they don't need any invitation to show Nigerians that the refinery is working, mere telling us how many trucks are loading from it daily with evident of this from trucks driver is sufficient. We cannot be subjected to the lies and propaganda of our present government agencies, like when we were told the that of Port Harcourt is working, only for journalists to go there after some days and noticed that no fuel is being loaded there or how can we accept a situation where by the whole refinery is producing only about 10 to 20 trucks daily, and they claimed it is working at 60% capacity. |
The act of inviting Baba to come and inspect it is an insult to him. NNPCL don't even need to say that, let people see it through the number of trucks that will be loaded daily, not the one that only between 1-10 trucks will be loaded daily, instead of about 50-100 or even more daily for more than 2 years, that is when Nigerians will know that the refineries are actually working, not the kind of this window dressing of claiming it is working. |
What really disappoints was Mr. President personal confession that his friend had 3 nimosine cars, but has to sell them and buy Honda. If this is the case, what of people who are using honda then, what would they be using now. It implied that every Nigerian had been made poor, except politicians and judiciary personnel whose salary was increased by 300%, which also indicated that all those people who worked on those cars as mechanics and spare parts dealers had been sent out of business. This kind of situation is not suppose to be used by any president to support his policies, because it has reduced standard of living and send many to abject poverty. |
The president sighted a self indictment example of a friend who sold an expensive car to buy Honda due to adverse economic conditions, thank God he is aware of this. Many sold their car and are now trekking or resulted motor cycle. But the president show be reminded the that Yoruba proverb says " oba to je to ilu roju, oruko re ko ni pare, oba to je to ilu o roju oruko re na ko ni pare" meaning that any king that rules and people enjoy his name will go to record book, likewise the one that rules and people suffered his name will also go to record book. The concerned of many Nigeria is that why ordinary Nigerian both rich and poor are suffering, the same cannot be said of our political elites, they are busy renovating undillapdated building, adding private jets to the existing ones, buying luxurious cars, building houses for themselves, while common man are selling their cars, the son of the president was shown in documentary where he displaced the addition to the collection of his exotic cars, expensive customized wrist watch including private jet. Then what is the justification for saying we Nigerians are living fake life before now or is it only politicians and their family members that are suppose to live a real life in Nigeria? |
I think the respite to this, is to adopt what they did in North east, where sign post was placed at each check point where it is boldly written in English and local languages that no driver should give the army any money/ bribe, and any army that harass them should be reported to the designated community leaders who will take action by reporting the matter to military hearachy . |
You called them election observers, they came observed and report what they saw, you are now crying, is APC speaking for inec or APC equals inec? Is it a crime to report what you saw in the election day? Let inec reply them and answer line by line all the allegations leveled against them, after all, the allegations were directed to inec not APC. |
His Excellency Alhaji Abubakar, the former head of state and Bishop Kuka should try to divest from asking political parties to sign peace accord, but should focus more on the election umpire inec and security agencies enduring they play and conduct themselves according to rule, because if there is no justice peace will disappear, if any politician knows that they lost election, they will accept the outcome, but in a situation whereby rules are set aside, there is possibility of rejecting the election, or a situation where someone lost election then go to his ward or local government and manipulate election in his favour should not be teoloirated. That is why inec and security agencies have a role to play there constitutional roles, not only political parties. |
Agreed, that is why the hunger, hardship and suffering he inflicted us with has never been inflicted by all his predecessors for the past 60 years also. Yeye people, God will deal with all the wicked politicians that has makes our lives miserable. |
We know you came to work not to look for money, that is why the biggest contract in the history of Nigeria was warded to company where your son is a board member, that why you are buying jets and other expensive for yourself and nass members. |
The same people raising Alam now, did not do so when our government is implementing foreign directed economic policies of Western nations of removal of subsidy, floating naira and increase in tax, it is only when the suffering and pain no more bearable to the people and they want to protest, that when they know that is foreign element of foreign nation trying to disterbilise Nigeria. Let the president listen and attend to their demand see and if people will not support his government. The government of the day felt that masses are powerless and can be coheased while those people that stolen our money and put us into this mess are working freely on our streets. |
My governor, you are part of the people that make Nigerians suffering and hungry, because you conspired as opposition with the ruining party and INEC to bring in this calamity to power, so you cannot exhaunorate yourself now. But God of Nigerian masses will deliver us from you people's hand because " Malu ti ko niru Oluwa lo nle esinsin fun. That is Yoruba adage. |
When they embezzling money they will not run, but when they were called to account for their steworship they will be running from pillar to post. Well done EFCC. But my reservation about EFCC action is that they should not be selective in their operation, all former governor's and ministers particularly under buhari's administration must be investigated and their financial dealing scruitnised, so that any one that commit financial crime like yeye Bello be brought to book and last Kobo they stole be recovered. |
BabaO2:Please did not misled Nigerians, Obasanjo claimed he left 32 air crafts with Nigeria air ways in 1976, but when he came back in 1999, he said he only met two of them. Concerning NNPC you claimed, don't forget that Obasanjo had sold out these refinaries, because he had forseen that some vested interest will not allow it to work, but now tell me since the sale was reversed by late President Yaradua, what have will gained, only to spend billions of Dollars without refining a liter of fuel and the unproductive staff their continue to earn fat salaries and allowances without doing anything. So Obasanjo is well aquited of this allegation. |
Thank God these statemen rose to the occasion. I have been wondering that do we still have fearless statemen to confront someone who is playing God in the affairs of this nation? I was even tempted to ask for where about of G 34 that confronted Abacha even as a military dictator including Professor Jerry Gana. This people should use their influence to tell government that Nigeria belongs to all, not where a family will seat on our resources to finance extravagant life style, while urging Nigerians to endure suffering, hunger and hardship |
Sowore, omo oko ni e, o kii se omo ale, thank God for your fearless, you are in the likes of Baba Obasanjo, who flew back to Nigeria even after he decleard wanted during Abacha. The masses you are fighting for are continuously praying for you and your family. On the other hand, I hope own activist will not be like others who occupied Ojota for three days and people supported them, they invited pastor, one white hair professor and some other politicians, people supported them maximally. But unfortunate even what made them to lead people to occupy Ojota, they have not even stepped to office before they announced subsidy gone. My question for them is, do they not realised that they are hypocrites? Why did they led people to protest when they know that is right decision to take? Also throughout occupied Ojota no police or military personnel come close to them much less of throwing tear gas or using life bullet on them, but this was there own trade mark during august protest. Nigeria is for all and no one is more than any other Nigeria. |
This is same women or the so called Pastor who came to national television to confess that her office does not have budgetary allocation, how come hundred of millions of naira is allocated to her office? Thank God for Rufai of arise TV who counter the statement by giving us the amount approved for her office's official vehicles from 2023 supplementary appropriation budget. This people can continue to fool themselves, a day is coming when all this impunity will come to an end. |
These government appointees talk as if they think every one is as full as they are, how would someone in his right sense says that president himself is affected by fuel price. Apart from having everything free for him, even his going to toilet is at the expense of tax payer money. |
Will it be well with many Nigerian politicians?. They are so self centered and wicked. How would the IGP claimed he sent 35 thousand police officers to Edo to conduct an election and the same man sent 39 police officers to protect a people being ranvanged by banditry. Even the election may not be free after all. |
Are Ona Kakanfo, we really appreciate your contribution. When the names of those who rise against oppression and insensitive government in Nigeria is being mentioned, your name will not be missing. Also where ever our respected elders of Yorubas like Baba Adebanjo, Obasanjo and many others that forsee what this man is made off, one of our proverb says "ounti agbalari to to ba joko, bi omode ba gun igi ko Lee ri" Meaning, what elders see when they sit down, even if young ones climb the tree they can't see it. But the elder that laid his derty hands of that man's head in the build up to election I think they will be regretting now if he has conscience, though he be bribed with billions of Naira, but the insult he will be receiving now cannot be equivalent to that money. Thank you Gani Adam once again. |
