Business / Re: Dangote Becomes $20m Wealthier, Maintains Spot As Africa’s Richest Man by benjaminlawson(m): 9:00pm On Jun 30, 2023
My worry is this, how would a person become the richest man in Africa, in a country where 133 millions out of about 200 million are poor, how come? But the reasons are simply, it is government made wealth, because monopoly was created for his goods, tax exemption was offered him, since there is no redistribution of wealth from him, he can become Super rich. The money used to build his refinery is government money according to Emefele, who claimed that the man has paid back substantial among of loan offered him, Also NNPC claimed that government has purchased 20% of the shares in his refinery at 2.5 billion Dallas, even without knowing the value of that share. How would he not be the richest man. Even, if a full is offered all the above he can also equal him in term of wealth.

They want everybody to become agbero so that they can use them the way they want when they want to dabaru election, because if you not educated, you are willing tool in their hand. And for those that claimed the government has started well, you can see that they actually started well by taken education out of the poor people's reach and commercialise it. They claimed the money saved out subsidy removal will be spent on education and at the same time they said they cant fund education.

Could that be the reason why Tinubu's supporters never ever said they will WASTE their vote?! grin

It is only when you are consciously and subconsciously very, very sure that the candidate you intend to vote for is going to lose, while the one who we all consciously and subconsciously know will win but we were so willing NOT to vote for an obvious winner because we hate him so much that we prefer to waste our vote on an obvious loser that is when we choose to waste our vote. The losers didn't come as a surprise at all.

Tinubu's win is neither a surprise. It is like Mancity win against Inter at the championship league final. Mancity win was too sure. Tinubu win was too sure since after he won the APC presidential ticket which was the only challenge for Tinubu, the rest was a free pass to victory.

Among those who wasted their votes, some are still wasting away in their loss while others like me are becoming more and more endeared to the winner, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wanting to be part of his success. Tinubu's government will be so successful there is no doubting this.

By the time hunger from inflation inflicted by IMF policy, being implemented by your candidate suffocates you, it will done to you that you have made a wrong choice , meanwhile where do all apc members buying fuel at 200 naira please, I want to go there, because as a civil servant I can't afford to fill my tank with 30,000 naira, and I must transport my children to school and go to work.

And you expect the court to rely on party agents's results rather than the one from the statutory org(INEC) with the mandate to conduct election and keep records? I think some of us need some education and be unveiled from this politic.al, triba.l and religio.us coverings

Please its not about education, even if you are educated, God gave common sense of reasoning, but the problem in Nigeria is that of ethic and religious bias that has killed our sense of reasoning. This is what most of our wicked political leaders are using to enslave us continue corruptly enriching themselves, if I wonder how someone will be thinking that party agent result should be taken as authentic result. God deliver us in this country because the truth will exalt a nation.

Am yet to understand Nigerians, is it because of ethic and religious bias that has kill our sense of reasoning. How would a sane person come and tell us that party agents have the result, then irev does not matter. Is inec working for political parties or Nigerians, even if political parties have it, the other Nigerians is not entitled to the result real time? Irev is a creation of law to check the authenticity of result collated, now if there is dispute in result collated, where do we check the actual result at any level, as it happened at national collating center in Abuja, where Senator Dino was advocating that they should wait until the result is uploaded to irev before they continue the collation, but yakubu did not listing. Nigerians should not say because their candidate was favoured in the rigging then let it be, it may turn to you later. Up till today inec has not told any Nigeria the type of glitches they experienced, all what okoye was saying glitches, and that, he is not technically competent to explain the glitches, then send your expert to explain, after all, even if your so called expert lie, many Nigeria are there to expose his lies.

Agreed to the decision, but all this stop this, stop that only applicable to poor masses. What have they done or intend to do to politicians and top civil servant who are so corrupt and deceived the government about what it cost to provide essential services. Now what are they going to do with budget padding, whereby computers and other equipment are always included in the budget every year. Contract price in Nigeria is highest in the world, the same government that is denying masses of benefits from government has not say anything about contract inflation, or collection of money for unexecuted project, until they deal with this issue of corruption in governance that masses will know that the government mean well for Nigerians.

Do we deserve to call anyone our leader in Nigeria. I cannot imaging my leader be it a governor or president after leaving office, the next thing is to relocate abroad. What happen to his village in Daura. Still telling us he should not be asked any question about his tenure. If he can'0t be called to account for his actions, why is the present government arrest Emefele and Bawa, when other appointees of the same government cannot be touched. Even those in IPPS under investigation should be set free. How on earth can some borrow and divert it to individual account, and put us to a situation where our unborn generation will be paying the debt and go free with it. Nigerians must take back their country from from these rogues called leaders.

God bless you... this accusation seem to me like disqualification and not centred on election matter

Are you in Nigeria or outside Nigeria, because your statement shows that you are not current about political terrain in Nigeria, do you know how many legislators had been removed from office, for your information the first house of Rep speaker Salisu Buhari was removed from office because of this. Also governor Adeleke of Osun state was confirmed as winner only after he was cleared of certificate forgery, even former president buhari has to be cleared of the same offend, if a forger is parading himself as a elected official at any level, it means Nigeria has turned to banana republic where there is no law. So certificate forgery is part of ground for disqualification, be enlightened.

How did the LP get the 110 machines they analyzed in the first place? Did they steal it or requested for it? Why can the researcher analyzed small samples out of 3000 plus? Researchers and someone wise in LP must have given right advice. If LP stole those 110 machines to analyze, they could have stole more enough for court to make conclusion. If LP requested from INEC, then; LP could have requested for more?

The Bvas LP forensic analyst used must have been the ones that INEC sought permission from court to work on for malfunctioning and court granted them permission or the ones that INEC engineers talked about that were under service in Abuja. Forensic expert has he called himself should have recovered decrypted figures or data that were deleted and read them out. How is it easy for scores to be deleted in almost all polling units when all collation officers were holding into physical result.

Did any of the NYSC and election officers that labour party presented ever told tribunal that at any point in time INEC had secret meeting to use them for malpractice directly or indirectly? There are still many "how" s, but believe me. This case is difficult to prove for LP and its time expires tomorrow. No witness has been able to convince even ordinary sensible citizens talkless of convincing court.

LP has lost, accept in peace; evidences are too insignificant.
By the time opposition lawyers begin their defense, they will defend easily

Those of you that are insincere and claiming that 110 Bivas is insignificant figure, have you forgotten that this is an election in which winner can be determined sometimes with just 10 vote apart. So110 polling unit is not statistical insignificant taken to account that 10 vote can make a winner to be emerged.

I always pity those of you that are asking the poor Nigerians to make sacrifice for Nigeria. I would have like you to direct your appeal to our so called leaders, what sacrifice have they made? Is it the huge salaries and allowances or outrageous contract inflated prices? In the olden days all government officials are using the same official vehicle Peugeot (PAN) from Kaduna, today, how many of them from president to State governors are using innoson Motor or eating local rice in their respective government houses. It is masses that should make sacrifice, while they continue to live in affluent? If leaders cannot lead by example, I think there is no need for masses to make any sacrifice, after all, leaders are not super human, they are like me and you. Those that manipulate election are not Nigerians who suppose to put the interest of our country first, but the deep pocket of someone blindfolded them to do other wise, which when they obliged to go to court, they cannot defend what they have done, and every document including the one emanated from them was opposed. Even former president went to court three times, nobody asked him to withdraw his case for Nigeria interest. Let wait until the case reaches supreme court.

You people are the reason why our government are misbehaving without human face in their decision in most cases. How would someone in his right sense say that because some people are taken our oil out or some people are scamming us through subsidy payments, then more than two hundred million Nigerians should face galloping inflation that result from subsidy withdrawals, even without palliative. If our oil are taking out, why did we have custom, or how many CGC of custom and immigration head or Dss head or IG of Police have been sack their complesit and corruption, the government is telling us that masses are to bear their incompetent attitude. If government that claimed 400 billions is to much to fund what benefit the entire population, can instruct CBN Governor to be paying 500 billion naira to a woman without impact on Nigerians, then what is justification of removing subsidy. The same border they claimed is porous was manned that even when the suspended CBN Governor wanted to use it to escape he was caught, but the same government cannot manned it to hinder the smuggling of our patrol in thousands of long vehicles daily, who is deceiving who?

Nigerian SUG government that is dancing with government should be impeached with immediate effect. How would somebody elected, not selected by government would sit down and eating and drinking with government that want to take education out of the reach of common man. Sowore is correct on this, and thank God he is not among the tribalistic people who are support the government blindly because of tribal sentiment. If Awolowo had not make education free in south west during his time, and Bola Ige and other governors in south west during their reign had not follow suit, many southwesterners would not have been educated today, and these are the people that claimed they are following Awolowo legacy. Those student that collect bribe to support this wicked policy will soon finish the money and their eyes will be opened. Because some people in this country felt that they can bribe their away to get away with whatever they want. This remind me of the prophecy of Adesina, that people will appreciate Buhari when he leases office, which has definitely come to pass in short distance, from day one of new administration masses had been subjected to untold hardship.

Government cannot simply beacause the population is too huge, we just keep giving birth to multiple children like idiots

as at last count well over 1.5million children wrote JAMB you expect government to subsidize that massive shit? every year?
subsidy of our father/older generation is only possible because the population of people in school is very low

white people that usually give birth to 1 or 2 kids know what they are doing, even at that they all pay tax like mad, and take student loans

we can't eat our cake and have it back, subsidy is not possible in a population-explosive country like Nigeria, any child that the parent can't send to school mostly because they have 8 to 20 kids should either take loan or square it up with the parent whose responsibilty is to take care of their many kids

the country can't continue to spend the money she does not have

Are you people pay to write this or you are writing out of ignorance, if emefele can tell Nigerians that he paid a woman 500 billion naira every month, if former accountant general can fraudulently divert 120 billion, if 1.5 trillion and nearly ten million Dollars can be traced to public officer, if a person can rent Ethiopia air line for 139 billing naira etc. Then someone will now tell me that government have no money to fund education, hanger of God will definitely fall on such a person.
