Why are they making some demand on tinubu now? For 8 years of buhari's misrule, did they make any demand? Tinubu should not listen to them. |
But they do nothing when the politicians, the so called state actors are destroying our nation with bad policies and corruption, they do not call them to order, apart from this, when those in power today are non state actors during military and Jonathan administration, the obas failed to warn non state actors then not to demonstrate, why did they suddenly regain their voices now? |
That is why demonstration is needed to end bad governance that is responsible for our poverty. Or mumu professor, who is a lone ranger, calling himself an organization did not hear that the report by that hundreds of millions of Dollars are being taken out of this country every hour, while the citizen cant feed themselves daily. |
Very good advise, but this did not come during occupy Ojota, in Lagos. |
Thank you Primate, you speak the truth to the power that be. You stand tall, like Prophet Nathan and Elijah of our time, who spoke truth to power that be at that time. That even make me to wonder why so many G.Os are keeping quiet, when their members are dying of hunger and starvation, they then join the politicians to preach the message of patience, why they failed to rebuke the same politicians of their extravagant life styles. God bless you Sir, and more anointing from above to fulfill your Ministry in Jesus Name. |
Mr. Governor, it is a pity that as one of the leaders in this country, you are ignorance of your duty, as an elected officer, which means you are not worthy of the position you occupied. This will make me to start from you, the Nigerians want electoral reforms, not a situation where someone with forth position in an election will be declared as winner. 2. We want price of patrol to be returned to 185 naira they met it. 3. Dollar to be return to between 600 to 700 naira, after all in 2015 your party promised 1 Dollar to 1 naira. 3. We want our local refinery function maximally including that of Dangerous. 4. University and other higher institutions of learning school fees be returned to where they me it in 20015. 5. Probe and collect back our looted funds from all politicians including that of subsidy scam. 6. Reduction in tax rate to lower the cost of goods. 7. Provide grants to our children in higher institutions instead of loans, etc, these are some better governance the proponents of protest are agitating for. So if government can come out to address these issues, I think those who want to protest will back down, after all, the president himself agitated for a better Nigeria when he was in opposition then. Mr. Nzodimma, I hope I have highlighted some basic grievances of people to you to help us pass it to Mr. President who is the father of us all. God bless Nigeria. |
jyz200:If president can initiated hardship just few hours after assumption of duty, I think one year is more than enough to proffer solution to the problem he created just few ours of coming to office with just two words " subsidy gone" |
CyrusVI:Don't mislead people with your false narration, in you own eye and that of your blind supporters, you made a vague conclusion without empirically evidence to support it that PDP assembled the most dullard cabinet, as dull as they are, let me tell you some achievements of the party, that if you give current ruling party 30 years, we will go from bad to worst. Mind you am neither for either of the parties, but am objective Nigerian, who has stake in the well being of this nation and her citizens. 1. Obasanjo came in to implement new minimum wage for workers deliberately without strikes or agitation from labor, which created middle classes, you see these people buying cars and building houses that boosted our economy, but today, even directors and senior lecturers cant use cars again, in fact many have sold their vehicles. Then minimum wage was over 100 Dollars, but today with much agitation and strikes, minimum wage is below 50 Dollars. 2. Our accumulated debts before they came in, was well above30 billion Dollars, through their effort, they reduced to nearly zero, after paying about 12 billion Dollars in cash, those who are not dullars that ruling us today, can they produce one billion Dollars without borrowing, as we speak they have sold the destiny of our unborn generation, then who is intelligent, between the two? Upon all these borrowing, Nigeria has not yet been turn around. 3. GSM is an innovation of the one you called Dollars, that make me and you to express our opinions with ease. 4. People expressed their opinion during the so called dullars rule, that make buhari and one white air professor among others occupied ojota for 3 days without police or military harassment, but when the so called intelligent people metamorphoses to power, endsars is still fresh in our memory. 5. Our economy during your so called dullars rule was the first in Africa, but today small countries in Africa had overtook us, which has led to some multinationals relocation to other African countries. The list is endless, but just mention a few. What we want is prosperous Nigeria where sky will be the limit of all, not where we will fight ourselves for people who have no interest of people but their personal interest, if people do well let give them the credit, while we wait for more time this government pleaded, PDP government remained the best, until proved otherwise by this administration. |
amoreobansu:He was left in office because, he opened the fault of CBN for them to steal endlessly, so to them he is a good boy. Apart from him, can you mention any other one he met and left in office? In MDAs that generates income or security agencies. |
This is the reason why most of us are not happy with Mr. President, this mele should be sharing the same room in jail with emefele, but instead, he was rewarded with another tenure. He and emefele brought this untold hardship to us, by inflating patrol consumption rate per day in order to enjoy subsidy scam, immerging the saying we are consuming 90 million likes of patrol daily, during economic hardship inflicted on us by buhari, this made government to declare on sustainability of the benefit. The day I heard him saying that even if Dangote refinery comes on board, it will not reduce the price of fuel, but only have about 30 to 40 naira reduction. Then I concluded that this man is an enemy of this country. |
Politicians and our religious leaders have colluded to sell out the masses, what this people fail to know is that, tomorrow, these politicians may come back and deal with them the way they are dealing with our traditional rulers, that make them loose respect and honor. by dethrone them overnight. Now agree, no protest, what are they genuinely doing about our suffering? All their cosmetic and insincere approach to the matter will continue to haunt them. |
Your excellent Sir, I know you fear God, but, the hardship we faced is not a trial from God, it is the act of wicked politicians that has brought this on us. So Sir, joins us to pray that God deals with all these politicians who brought this hardship on us, because of their corrupt practises, the way He deals with Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible and set Nigerian masses free from their hands, including you if you are involved. |
All government officials from federal to state governments, who are wasting our hard earned resource traveling abroad looking for investors should all be jailed. How can you go overseas looking for investors, but at the same time you are sabotaging the local ones, do they think that investors are like them who steal money and we not care where and how they spend or will invest. Though as some had lend their views, that the man himself is part of our economic saboteur, but that not outstanding, the man has done well in this matter and no one should frustrate him. What surprised me most was the silence of mr president who doubles as senior minister of petroleum, does him not know the economic implication of his action. Politicians have failed us in African countries and our democracy is not working, that is why some citizens of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger were jubilating, when the so called democratic elected government were dethroned, I think this is part of what makes former president Obasanjo to call for African own democracy, because this Western own is unfavourable to masses but only the politicians taking care of themselves. |
Baba Osho, I respect you recently because of your purposeful contribution to National issues at the floor of senate, though you have your say, but not have your way, but posterity will be kind to you. Now on your comment that we need to be patience with the present administration due to hardship, you people do not patience before starting enjoying booties of office, you assumed power, and immediately starts flamboyant life style, by buying SUV cars, buying yacht, renovation houses at hundreds of billion, buying new aircrafts etc. Why cant you people be patient before enjoying all these things. I know Nigerians are patience people, but mind you patience has limitation and expiring date, so take note. |
Beverlyjean:This is a joke taken too far, who are you to say some sections of Nigeria will never rule again? Mark you, the government you called Yoruba government is not a Yoruba government, but emilokan government, if it were to be Yoruba government, our elders led by Baba Adebanjo, Obasanjo Bode George and other Afenifere members will sit down and select who to wear the cap. So since they are not involved you cant call it Yoruba government. He personally contested and all Nigerians voted for him. Though we know the hardship is much, we pray for wisdom and boldness to take right decisions. |
My own problem with you is your hypocritical stand, you disgraced former President Buhari up and down, because of his bad economic policies and hardship faced by people, little did we know that you are doing it for your selfish interest, now another leader who made our lives more miserable came, pay you, then you starts singing his praises and attack his opponents. The question is, what hardship, suffering and economic woos that former president brought on us that this administration has not done what is worst than it? yet , you are supporting them, which means you are being motivated by personal interest; stomach infrastructure. |
God fearing governor, ride on, Oyo people are behind you. God bless you and your family. |
Mr. Remo, I think you are being driven by the desire for better Nigeria due to your hard stand on former administration, the reason for doing that is now visible even to the blind. Now. on your reply to good advise from Dele Momodu. I will lend my view point by point as you raised them. 1. On the economic policies being pursued by this administration, that has brought untold hardship on Nigerian in which the President and his wife have acknowledge, were dictated by the same IMF, so you want them not to score themselves high by given this projection, and mind you the projection may never be turned to reality. 2. Trade supposed did not come as a result of any increase in export, but because Nigerians is now so poor that they cant hard afford two square meals and the propensity for foreign goods has become nearly zero, except politically exposed persons, surplus of trade balance was caused by reduced import, not exportation of more goods, including reduction of import on refined crude. 3. Also, mr Remo, increase in allocation you talked about does not come as a result of any productive activities, it came as a result of subsidy removal, increase in tax and floating of exchange rate, then are you proud that these policies that brought this harassing should be celebrated by any sane man? on the alter of increased allocation to sub-federation. 4. You talked about increase in capitalisation at stock exchange, this shows that you lack basic economic principle, capitalisation comes as a result of saving, in a situation where more than 65% of Nigerians can hardly afford two meal in day, where will the surplus to be traded at capital market in exchange floor comes from, the little increase you see there, is as a result of politically exposed individual who have stole too much and are hiding their loots at the exchange market, it has nothing to do with generality of Nigerians. That is why mr. President is pleading for more time, because he has not lost in touch with the reality as some senators alleged. |
It is only sycophant like Omokri will have a contrary view with the message and these are the people the man was warning mr president to be wary of. |
PoundHound:He has already been offered a job as attack dog to any opposing view, irrespective of good advice the individual offers. It is now I realise that it is because former president did not do his bidden, that was the reason he was pursuing him up and down abroad, but one thing is sure, no one will enjoy any money made from sycophancy, hypocrisy and falsehood. |
Mr. Chairman, I have high regard for you, but on this one, I disagree with you. It is the politicians, that are responsible for our economic challenges, yahoo boys are just finding a means of surviving, the politicians are collecting jumbo salaries that our economy can not sustain, and above all they inflated contracts at more than five times actual price. This are the reason we are not moving forward, also mr. Chairman, you have made frantic efforts to ensure that many of this yahoo boy pay dearly for their offense by sending thousand of they to jail, but I cannot remember any politicians that were send to jail, even up till now, the only politician you want to make as scapegoat has also disappeared to thin air, and had refused to appear in court, the one you managed to bring to court, the case may linger to eternity with no effect. Let always tell ourselves the whole truth not have truth. |
You cannot not see any ndume there, but at the end of the day it is numb who will fixed his half backed children in CBN and NNPC OR NPA. But these brilliant children will no where to be found. |
Akpabio is learning it from his predecessor, who doesn't see anything wrong with what ever Buhari does. Akpabio ride on, no one is having monopoly arrogant and impunity. Whether they like it or not, southerners will spend 8 years through Tinubu or at worst any other southern, before it will be the turn North Central zone. Let all those that are making noise keep quiet because the journey is still far, southerners endure 8 years of Buhari's misrule and mortgaged the life of unborn Nigerians. |
The 20 trucks of rice in the air. That is all we will hear, no one will be beneficiary of it. That was how they claimed then, that some trucks of food stuff had been given to NASS members am not aware how many people are beneficiary of that, after this announcement in the air, everything will go back to normalcy |
Racoon:I totally agree with you, we didn't realize on time that the gbajue white hair prof, is completely fake democrat and human right fighter. He did not call those who short down irev and fake certificate carrier gbajue, but some people that are fighting against fraud he called gbajue. Mr. gbajue has been handsomely reward with his name immortalised at abuse and Lego's for his ethno-tribal stand. Baba Wole, mi o gba tiyin mo Lori oro gbajue yi. Sorry if you didnt understand, the Prof understands. |
Are you sleeping or out of your mind, when you took our money to invest in it? You ought to go to jail like emefele for economic sabotage. |
All those who are in charge of our oil over the years that allowed our oil to be exploited and transported without meter to know the actual quantities sold should be arrested and put to jail including present nnpcl GMD. To serve as a lesson to others that, one needs to be diligent and prudent in the management of our national resources. |
You people can pay yourselves any amount and engaged in extravagant life style, but now, to pay labor a living wage it must be according to your ability. Next time, all eyes must be on eyeneck to conduct credible elections, so that the politicians will know that they are accountable and answerable to electorate. This is what always responsible for bad governance particularly in Nigeria. |
Mr. Wike, Tinubu must pursue criminals up and down with even carry gun to fight, that is why he was called the commander in chief of armed forces. If can not successively lead the war against criminals and terrorist, he did not worth the position he holds and the constitution he was sworn in. That is the reason he was given the power to appoint service chiefs and other security heads, so let wike know that it is exclusive duty for Tinubu to protect every Nigerians, if he fails in this, he does not worth being call commander in chief. |
This problem is to be blamed on CBN due to corruption and lack of effective internal control, some of their staff were jailed some years back for transporting old note they suppose to destroy to north east. Also, money deposit bank are also releasing these mutilated note back to circulation instead of preventing them from going back to circulation on the excuse that CBN will charge them for it. We can now see that CBN is solely responsible for the problem. |
All the economic think tan of this country should all be put in jail for wrong advice. How would Nigeria that has only crude as major source of income be advocating for the use of CNG or electric vehicles, if all other countries are advocating for this, Nigeria should not join them, because even if this God given resources is rejected by countries of the world, and Nigeria cannot find buyers, isn't it wise for us to maintain our domestic consumption? Instead of joining bad wagon of CNG or electric vehicles. This problem happened due to subsidy gone statement, in which they are even paying more for subsidy now, than before the so called removal, according to finance minister. |
Mr. Chairman, the ball is your court, do the needful and recover the stoling money for Nigeria. |
