Buhari won with just meagre 10k votes in the 'almighty' Osun state, thanks to FFK. If the pdp had 2 people in Osun like himme it would have changed a lot. |
It's a shame that the party in power cannot win an election on first ballot and now looking for ulterior avenues to rig themselves in. If you are unpopular you are unpopular. After they have been ranting that the pdp is dead and buried. They are trailing the pdp in all states declared inconclusive. And using Plateau to try to cover their tracks. Shame on a party that prides itself on change and integrity. |
Buhari has interfered, I can bet my lungs on this. No other court has the jurisdiction to adjudicate on electoral matters than the tribunal. INEC know better than this. What did they do in respect of Akpabio injunction against the announcement of Chris Ekpenyong. Nigeria we hail thee! |
No results were cancelled in Rivers, INEC only suspended collation process due to security threats and attempts by APC sponsored military to enforce written written results on their officials. senatordave1: |
What is the governor and the APC afraid of? A winner has not been declared in the said election . The INEC said the process was deemed inconclusive in error, with cogent facts. So the collation process is deemed to be on. Judges would collect their money and do something to earn such bribes, knowing the truth. Election matters are strictly addressed by election petition tribunal, the reason Sen. Akpabio obtained an injunction against recognition of his opponent as senator-elect and later withdrew it on advice by his lawyers that the the matter should be taken to the tribunal. INEC, cannot honour this order, except under undue influence from the president himself. |
Did you just say votes would not count? Then you are confirming the fact Wike actually is the one Rivers people voted for,and that the APC just want to force him out. you should rather be ashamed for your party. It is unfortunate you are a youth. Fuckyoumod: |
You did not read the post. In case you did but understood not, go back and read this time around very slowly and possibly get someone to aid you. IamPatriotic: |
Which one is common sense part of the Constitution again?? :- Majority carries the vote, I hope you are referring to majority of senators vote at the house sitting and not majority of house members. I don't know whether you understand the difference between the two. Ekweremadu was voted DSP by majority votes and but he is of the minority party. ThatFairGuy: |
I am done with you. Obviously you lack what to say. I never stated that any law said he should particularly be elected. How can I google what does not exist? I am wasting my time with you. Ategberoson: |
For stating a fact? Oh you hate to hear the truth! It is not my fault then. fk001: |
You are the one disgracing yourself. I never argued about majority or minority. Show me where either the constitution or senate rules states that the Senate president and deputy in particular must be from the majority or ruling party, or keep quiet . Ategberoson: |
I just said it and you are this upset, it means you would die if he happens to emerge Senate president. I wish you long life. AntiWailer: |
What did he miss? Apart from David Mark, which other Nigerian was Senate president for up to 4years. It is divine providence to have had the chance in the first place. Baawaa: |
Ekweremadu is the best candidate. Must the SP be from the ruling party?. Which part of the constitution says so. |
At least he has been watching a video of a governor stuffing Agbada with bundles of dollars. [quoe author=Kingsley1000 post=76703865]apparently you haven't been to kano[/quote] |

I think Bauchi, Adamawa, Benue and Rivers are sure for PDP, while Plateau is sure for the APC. I also see Kano going to the APC (only by crook). Sokoto is 50-50. |
Obviously you don,t knw the role of party agents or how election results are collated. Agents of each party at any level is given a copy of the result signed by other party agents and returning officer. The agents report to a central point called situation room for the party. They even keep personal copies if they like. muykem: |
Don't summarise Utd just yet. We even as fans gave no chance to Ole and his boys against PSG, but here we are. AgreatMan: |
You are right, but APC are demons. ClearFlair: |
TRUTH be told, it a clear sign of rejection if the incumbent is trailing the opposition in an inconclusive election, and they are relying then on the military and partisan Umpire to win. The APC hierarchy and their supporters should be ashamed. |
You did not get me right. I did not argue whether or not Iwu declared results by states. My point is that others before himaking didn't either, so you should not condemn him based on that. Can you post those declared by his Predecessors?? So we know he erred from the template set before he assumed office. The one thing I personally hated in Iwu is the fact he was not tactful and didn't tolerate criticism. Funny you saying you would give me 5k for whatever. Nairaland is a faceless forum, I don't blame you, but know you are not talking to pauper. EastGold: |
You can't use that as a yardstick to condemn Prof. Iwu. Operational methods change with time and are continually reviewed. As an insider that you claim to be, Ephraim Akpata and Abel Guobadia were predecessors to Iwu, did they announce results by states? Iwu only conducted the 2007 elections. EastGold: |

You did not get me. My greatest wish right now is that the Pdp should take over kano. But I can assure you the app won't let that happen, either by hook or crook. You and I should watch events unfold. People will die in this supplementary elections. OGHENAOGIE: |
Ki banye. Wo wum atuo ah? kleverley: |
I am watching to see how possibly the APC hierarchy fold their arms and let Kano go to their strongest opposition. Well placed sources have it that they are threatening that it would happen over their dead bodies, and Nigeria should burn if it wants to. |
Nope! Opposition is necessary for good governance and healthy democracy. The reason I am praying that PDP should win all 6 inconclusive states. NaijaRoyalty: |
Atia puuu! kleverley: |
Bros leave, last time in Osun the rescheduled elections in PDP stronghold but used the military to stop voters from accessing the polling units. They gave APC voters white handkerchiefs with which they were identified and allowed to go to the polling units. Awol1: |
Same thing happened in Abia north senatorial election, but INEC declared Orji Kalu of the APC winner and they have been saying whoever is not satisfied with it should go to court. That is double standard. frankmoney: |
So the information that Tambuwal has lost is fake? |
