The PDP were never a party in any Rivers and Zamfara cases. The APC members were in court fighting themselves. Get your facts right. Here it's still the APC allegedly planning to use the courts to disqualify the PDP candidate.
gbengress1:
PDP also capitalized on this in Zamfara and Rivers. Why cry foul here. If your hands are clean, there is no need to fidget.

What is collateral? Colateral refers to assets which could be liquid or not. Cash in other banks inclusive.
davodyguy:
This is very wrong.

Yes, its to fight NPL, but all loans should be collateralized at the same amount borrowed.
Hence, when there's a default, the collateral can be foreclosed. This is why we have legal mortgage

What? Where do tenants do maintenance for the landlord? Except of course it's is counted as part of the rent.
tumababa:
The house u build to live in is a liability (cos u av to maintain it) while the one u rent out is an asset(cos u get paid for it and tenants do d maintenance). The bigger your house the bigger your liabilities. The more apartments u av for rent, the more assets u av. Thats a better way to explain it.

Politics › Re: Governor Wike Reacts To Demolition Of Mosque At Trans-Amadi Central, "Fake News" by Bennycollins: 6:04pm On Aug 26, 2019
I am a christian, any Christian group that builds a structure without due approval by the government is even violating the bible's teachings on loyalty to the laws of the land. The government is not wrong to demolish such. So why do Muslims think they can do that with impunity?
Jobac:
I am neither a Christian nor a Moslem, but I will remind you this quote when they start demolishing churches anywhere in the world. Nigerian Christians are hypocrites.

Thanks @OP. This is exactly the problem I have in my house right now. I wasn't properly advised from beginning. Now the mistake has been made, is there a remedy? I have on my own been thinking of re-screeding the lower half of the wall and then coating with marine paint, what do you think? Btw the peeling is worse inside, why? I have now tiled the external upto 1.2m round though.
Your response is highly anticipated and appreciated please.
Thanks.

Antoeni:
A MUST READ.

THE REVOLUTION THEY REFUSED TO DO WHEN IT WAS NEEDED MOST.

✔ When militants were busy bombing and destroying oil installations and then polluting the entire Niger Delta environment between the year 1997 to 2016, where was your revolution?

✔ When the same militants began kidnapping foreign investors in the year 2000 and later resorted to kidnapping Nigerian citizens for ransom after the foreigners ran away, where was your revolution?

✔ When opposition politicians were being specifically targeted for assassination between the year 2002 to 2014, where was your revolution?

✔ When they were busy buying private jets and building expensive private universities and gigantic personal libraries with funds stolen from us, where was your revolution?

✔ When they sold NEPA/PHCN to themselves in 2013 and continued to rip us off our monies without giving us electricity, you didn't think of revolution!

✔ When just one box was found containing 14 billion naira worth of jewellery for a thieving female minister recently, you didn't think of revolution when the theft and squandermania was going on between 2010 to 2015!

✔ When they killed NITEL and our numerous textile factories since 2001, your revolution was missing!

✔ When they killed Nigeria Airways without even paying off the workers, your revolution mind was where?

✔ When airplanes were falling down almost every month in Nigeria, killing hundreds of people at each fall, and the only explanation Femi Fani-Kayode who was the minister of aviation at that time gave was that it was caused by cultists in government, where was your revolution to remove the cultists out of power?

✔ When they sank billions of dollars of public funds in NEPA/PHCN and gave you darkness even before they sold it off to themselves, where was your revolution?

✔ When they stole your monies and built palatable edifices for their families, concubines, whores or girlfriends, where was your revolution?

✔ When they were selling crude oil at $140 per barrel and yet couldn't pay workers for upwards of 14 months, where was your revolution?

✔ When our health institutions went comatose, and doctors, nurses and other medical workers were always on strike, where was your revolution?

✔ When ASUU strikes lasted up to 9 months nonstop to over 14 months sometimes, there was no revolution from you! Why?

✔ When Nigeria Airways staff were dying due to nonpayment of their benefits for over 20 years, where was your revolution?

✔ When the 2nd Niger Bridge was commissioned on mere paper twice but which tens of billions of naira was looted and squandered in its name, where was your revolution?

✔ When our railways were left dead and rusty, and our roads across the country were abandoned such that they became huge craters and hundreds of billions of naira were being looted annually in the name of building new ones, where was your revolution?

✔ When 20 people alone are owing me and you about 5 trillion naira public money in AMCON, where was your revolution?

✔ When a former First Lady's total amount forfeited to government can be divided amongst 774 local governments for 220 million naira each, where was your revolution?

✔ When 23 people, under the instruction of President Jonathan, looted and shared $2.1 billion funds meant for fighting Boko Haram, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths, where was your revolution?

✔ When over 20 people died during the Nigeria Immigration Service jobs scam in 2014, where was your revolution?

✔ When stealing was not corruption, and was effectively legalised to the point that it was a crime to be honest in any office in Nigeria between 1999 and 2015, where was your revolution?

✔ When poverty reached an all-time high of 112 million people in 2012 and 130 million in 2013 according to World Bank data, where was your revolution? It is when the figure has reduced to 88 million people in 2018, according to the same World Bank, that you are talking of revolution?

✔ Between 2010 and early 2015, we were being bombed and killed in hundreds and even thousands almost daily in Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Zaria, Jos, Bauchi, Azare, Misau, Gombe, Maiduguri, Damaturu, Potiskum, Yola, Mubi, Gwoza, Bama, Buni-Yadi, Kala Balge, and many other towns and communities in northern Nigeria! Where was your revolution at that time?

Someone is diligently cleaning all of that mess now, and you are now shouting REVOLUTION on behalf of the very thieves and plunderers who created and sustained all of that mess for 16 solid years? Who the hell do you think you are to think we will let you railroad us back to the rape and plunder of our beloved country in the name of a wacky revolution?

I just wanna make some common sense!

God bless Nigeria.
. Don't worry when the hardship and insecurity get to you or your relatives you would know that revolution is needed more then ever before. Sowore was once more Buharist than most of you .

United would be better off without LuKaku. Yes, cos it is already considering yo replace him with either Ben yedder or Nicolas Pepe, 2 mobile and slick forwards. give these guys 50% of Lukaku's wages and they would run to old Trafford. Dude is too heavy these days.

Politics › Re: INEC Boss, Mike Instructed Me To Cancel Akpabio's Votes" by Bennycollins: 1:27pm On Jul 21, 2019
Now You just agreed with my points, that votes from the rural areas are mostly phantom, and that's what Akpabio did. The register showed about 15k marked as duly accredited voters. Then Someone would score 61k votes. Igini knows the implication of cancelling perceived phantom votes more than you and me. Let's see how your Akpabio will be declared winner.
garfield1:
Oga,70% of votes in nigeria are always from the rural areas.any political follower should know.of a truth, there mostly phantom votes.let me use my state cross river for instance.calabar metropolis gave 55,000,ogoja main town, ugep ekori,Ikom gave 50,000 out of a total vote of 410,000 recorded.
Mind you both pdp and inec are on the same side, defense team.there supposed to be in sync.inec byvthe way finished their presentation last week.

During the 2015 guber cases, the supreme court ruled that the card reader is alien to our laws and only the manual register is legally recognized for accreditatiion.that over voting can only be established if total votes exceeds what is in the manual register not card reader authentication.if someone name was marked on the manual register but was not captured by the card reader, the vote counts.

Politics › Re: INEC Boss, Mike Instructed Me To Cancel Akpabio's Votes" by Bennycollins: 12:15pm On Jul 21, 2019
Read the post again, he is said to be a witness called by the Pdp , not INEC. He was the INEC RO, agreed. If you voted in the last election, you would agree that every accredited voter had his name marked and stamped on the manual register. Did the supreme court rule on that too? I don't know how you came about the notion that rural areas produce more votes than urban cheesy cheesy cheesy. Maybe phantom votes anyway. Think about the population, enlightenment, accessibility relative to urban areas, you realise how wrong you are on this.
garfield1:
You don't seem to understand that this man was testifying for inec and indicting them.the supreme court has already ruled that card readers cannot be a ground to cancel votes.acgordijg to the electoral act,the rec has no power to cancel results.once results are declared, only the courts can cancel it.
Finally, rural areas produce more votes than urban areas.its common knowledge.voting power is not about population but how rural and inaccessible an area is
Politics › Re: INEC Boss, Mike Instructed Me To Cancel Akpabio's Votes" by Bennycollins: 11:40am On Jul 21, 2019
Yes Akpabio tried to rig, but did it without sense. Essien Udim, his LGA , is a rural LG. Ikot Ekpene , the headquarters of the senatorial district, is much urban with far higher registered voters, could not return a total near 70k votes. But rural Essien Udim were reported to return over 70k votes. Very funny. How many registered voters do we even have in Essien Udim? What was the turnout for the elections. INEC would also present their case before the tribunal. Remember there are accreditation documents and electronic data showing total accreditation and votes cast.
The returning officer should even be ashamed of himself. As an academic that you are, if the REC ask you to adjust results without any reasons, you shouldn't sheepishly do it without objection.

What people don't realise and fail to admit is that the level of rigging in the SS and SE surpasses that in all other parts of the country combined. Fine, underage voting to the north.

I get your point. But look at it this way. Just one goal per match qualified us for knock out stage. Had we conceded in those, we would have long been out. Senegal is in the final, how many goals did they score in all their matches? They even lost a couple of penalties. But they kept advancing cos the didn't concede goals. In the last fifa WC, we didn't have to score again to advance against Argentina. But we conceded a cheap goal, and got kicked out. Do you see why a good back line iskey ? Even when we scored more than one goal , we conceded two, against Cameroon, a third goal could have changed the story.
