This has become the cheapest way to get Buhari's government attention. |
The INEC know better than to file claim that it's server was hacked. Legal proceedings are not like NL arguments. If you say your server were hacked, it implies the information puportedly obtained is truly from your servers. The issue of hacking becomes another matter entirely. Yes hacking is a criminal offence, but the accused can wriggle himself out by claiming different means of access to the server. What if an insider, or whistle blower has divulged such information from the server.? garfield1: |
Show me anyone that expected INEC to say otherwise even if true, let me show you a fool. The case has just begun. |
Local laws are binding on all local entities, while international lawstudents are binding on all nations and governments that are treaty holders, commonwealth, UN, AU etc. Now we shouldn't eveneed go far. Jada and Adamawa are constitutionally listed LGA and state respectively. So Atiku is Nigerian citizen by birth. Case closed! garfield1: |
Atiku is a Nigerian citizen by birth. He was born in Jada LGA of Adamawa State. Jada is a constitutionally listed LGA and Adamawa is a constitutional State in Nigeria. The INEC conducted election there, Even the Apc recorded votes there . This claim is trash, therefore. DrtroubleM: |
Based on the logic and semantics of this deposition by tge APC, the salient questions would be; Do we have any place in northern Cameroon called Jada or Adamawa? Do we have the above in Nigerian territory? Do we have elected representatives of these places in state or National parliament and why if these are not Nigerian? Did the INEC conduct elections in these places and did the APC record votes in same? If the answer to all these is yes then this aspect of the defence is easily decided. Nigeria ceded bakassi to Cameroon, most of the bakassi people chose by plebiscite to remain Nigerian, some went to Cameroon. If international law recognises the citizenship status of these people, the local laws are helpless in changing anything. |
Look well, you would see an overhead tank. jidxin: |
Think for once. Everything is not about election. The price of rice has gone up again by about 15% in the last 2 month, with all the reported increase local production. I am glad you eat rice too. alcuin: |
You can add Osun to PDP. The facts of the Osun case too delicate for any learned judge to twist. ozo13: |

This what is called shellacking. TANTUMERGO007: |
Bros don't think you are talking to a pauper. I live in my own compound in the heart of Calabar, I can give you my contactsweet if you are around. I come from Obudu. And I still repeat that my state is poor. Google the ten poorest states in Nigeria, the educationally less developed states, Nigerian states with least IGR, states with least financial sustainability, Nigerian states with least federal allocation, total networth of Nigerian states, among others. You would find Cross River in all. I am not the author of any of the cited reports. I am not your regular nairalander, writing posts to out of hatred. Kenturkey048: |
Cross River , my state is truly a poor state. Kenturkey048: |
As Tinubu etal are in Politics for their own interests so is every other elected member of the NASS. They should not be deluded that all APC legislators would vote for one person because the party hierarchy say so. June is still some months away, we shall see how events unfold. This parliamentary leadership struggle would involve the military, police and DSS. |
I can bet United would be better off without Pogba. If Pogba had played against PSG United would have been out of UCL by now. So many instances where he had cost us. Yes, he made meaningful contribution sometimes, Coutinho, Gimendez, Neves or even Ndombele can give same. James Rodriguez and all those mentioned are begging to come play for Ole. If this is true, then united would reap close to 120m and reinforce better for next season. Fordzzy: |
. You try well well. supportnija: |
Leave that thing. Did they also sacrifice BaUchida, where Buhari won? They also lost the presidential in Plateau, why didn't they sacrifice it. bluecircle470: |
Who is this Awara sef, it seems he has never as much as been local government councillor. No one knew or heard of him b4 now and some want us to believe Rivers people voted for him not just against Wike, but other eminent candidates in the contest? |
God, what is the sin of Nigerians that you have cursed us with this kind of leaders? So if a zone did not vote for you, it has stopped being part of the country? |
Hmm. What's the implication then.? |
And you are here celebrating the violence (disruption)? With people like you, the future of Nigeria is in deep shit, to say the least. Wither the change and Integrity? bugggg: |
These are not wells. They are blocs, or leases if you want. |
It's easy. For instance in local governments that one party won with a large margin, the same party now scores 0 to about 500 votes in a single PU during supplementary election. What has changed? garfield1: |
Let's forget it. The APC know that losing kano is calamity for them, so they won't let that happen. Their only option is rigging and rigging they would do. When they entire state went to the polls, there was peace. Now we have 2 AIGs and 3CPs deployed for election in just few PUs. Only God can stop the APC in kano. |
Akin to one telling another not to be happy for passing WAEC because he has passed Jamb. Why? tesppidd: |
We are on the same page, but sadly it doesn't depend on what we think or advocate for. We have satanic party at the helms of affairs. tuniski: |
Hehehe. In this era where the presisidency is arm-twisting the judiciary and every agency under the sun? Watch for what happens in kano, bauchi, rivers and sokoto. If The APC loose Osun and kano with Oyo gone already, it would be calamity. They can't afford it, brother. So hook or crook, the deed must be done. Ratello: |
I don't understand the anxiety here. Two more laps of the whole legal saga to go, irrespective of what the verdict here is. |
It's only kids and nicompoops that jubilate even when danger lurks. I just pity some people here calling others Ipob pigs for condemning obvious signs of crisis. |
seunmsg: |
You don't get it. Yes, the INEC have been going back and forth, it doesn't change the fact that thus is a post election matter. The judge has violated the electoral act as cited by the PDP. The INEC should be allowed to conclude their job, not minding the faults. The election petition tribunal can nullify the process if found faulty. seunmsg: |
