Politics › Re: Court Affirms Senate's Power To Reject Magu by Bennycollins: 8:40am On Feb 02, 2018
It's a mark of administrative and political rascality for the president to keep renominating the same candidate for confirmation after he has been rejected by the Senate based on security report.
Insincerity is when Buhari wants us to believe that Magu is the only Nigerian out of 180million that can serve as eccentric chair.

In essence it's needless to attend church, since we can just buy a bible and start studying in our homes. But what of those who cannot read,
HeyCorleone:
Why do you think we have the Bible?

Why do you think Luther revolted against the Church? It was because they didn't make Bible available for the common folk so it was hard for them to have a first hand knowledge of God's word. Now the Bible is available for everyone but it's unfortunate people would still rather follow what their pastors say. It is sad.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Your Perspective Of God? by Bennycollins: 9:35am On Jan 28, 2018
Can you give us the authentic answer to th question "how did the world begin"? Which is not man made.
nanizle:
My perspective is that God is entirely a man-made concept created to easily answer questions like "how did the world begin?"
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Your Perspective Of God? by Bennycollins: 9:30am On Jan 28, 2018
Good you at least believe there is God, unlike some others, but then how do we develop our own individual idea of God if we don't go to Church or read the bible cos pastors preach the bible.
HeyCorleone:
The best idea you can have about God is that which you personally convince yourself of, since salvation is personal. Not what Adeboye or Oyedepo or whoever tells you.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Your Perspective Of God? by Bennycollins: 9:12am On Jan 28, 2018
So u re saying we should follow no one else's idea of God? That's why they are pastors, and you are not.
HeyCorleone:
Most of the knowledge we carry about God is what one pastor said or the other according to their own personal beliefs.

I don't believe God is someone who wouldn't bless you if you don't tithe.

There are so many things I don't believe God is that if I were to list them I would be termed "atheist".

Keep blaming the fall out of your paymasters' policy blunders on the PDP. The same party you said is dead and buried is the first you would mention as the architect of your failings. Why not mention some other party ? Or all others dead and buried too? Repent from your evil ways of supporting evil, cos Nigerians are suffering, else your own suffering would begin and beyond redemption.

PDP sponsored article to maligned Umana Umana....

Nigeria is not a banana republic...if you cannot stand the rules and feel you can blackmail the govt using job loss propaganda...it wont work.

This is no longer PDP/Jonathan time, when stealing was not corruption...Every kobo due to the govt must be paid into its coffer..or you pack and leave the scene for genuine investors to come in.

Politics › Re: Senate Summons Fashola, Probes $650m Fraud In Ministry Of Power by Bennycollins: 11:11am On Nov 09, 2017
This is not surprising to Me. Tinubu calls the shots. Fashola is just an errand boy. Buhari settled Tinubu with 3 juicy ministries merged as one ( works, power and housing), with the heaviest chunk of the budget, given he was the most instrumental in APC victory . The same for Amaechi in Transport ministry(Aviation/transport). By the time this unpopular clique finish with Nigeria, we will know pdp were learners

When we say things are worse and Nigerians are suffering, Apc supporters, apologist and sympathisers would only abuse us and shout ipob or pdp. We are not all ipob or Igbo, not even politicians. We expect counter claims with facts and figures of what has improved from the previous since this govt came onboard. Does this not qualify them as Zombies?

That's not entirely correct. We would have had 12pts against Zambia's 7pts, who could beat us at home and close the gap to 10pts. We could still lose away to Algeria and Zambia beat Cameroon in Nola to have 10pts.

West Ham is is not heavy weight with the squad the have got now??.
Ok, may be your heavy weight is Bunley.
jayloms:
Well, this in no way clears Man United for the title. Let's hope they don't suffer back to back losses in their subsequent matches. Man U had an unforgivable performance last season, I would not be quick to clear them for the title.

Let's hope Lukaku would be useful when it matters the most cause as far as EPL is concerned West Ham is no longer a Heavyweight undecided

Politics › Re: Amaechi Knelt To Beg For Wike - Uchendu by Bennycollins: 9:40am On Jul 04, 2017
What manner of senator this man would make.
Godson333:
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Chief Andrew Uchendu, has narrated how the immediate former governor of River State and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, knelt to beg Obio/Akpor people on behalf of Nyesom Wike, the current governor of Rivers State.

Mr. Uchendu made this known while addressing the ongoing face off or beef between the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and his estranged successor, Nyesom Wike.

Uchendu, who was recently declared the winner of the Rivers East senatorial election by the state election tribunal, spoke during the unity rally/thanksgiving organised by the Obio/Akpor LGA caucus leader, Mr. Chikordi Dike.

He said: “There is no Rivers son that has made the kind of contribution Rotimi Amaechi has made in my life. Wike said Amaechi behaves like a God, but the Bible said man is God to man.

“If Amaechi has been the instrument of elevation and empowerment of many young people who were at the grassroots and now in the highest level of political career, is he not their God? And if he has helped people who testify as we are testifying today, for me, Amaechi is my God.

“I must congratulate the new leadership of Obio/Akpor caucus and other caucuses from different LGAs. Looking at the crowd here today, it shows that the house is settled for a serious business in 2019.

“By recovering my mandate, Rivers people now have an alternative voice. The truth is in the recorded memory in the political development of the Ikwerre ethnic nationality.

“Don’t forget when Obio/Akpor people said they were not going to accept Nyesom Wike for his second tenure as the chairman of the council, Amaechi went on his knees at the residence of the late Eric Asor at Elelewon and pleaded on behalf of Wike to be given a second chance.

“And finally the people accepted, from chairman to chief of staff and then governor; how else can a man be a god to man?” Punch quoted him as saying.
