A Seed for Contemplation

When you become as little children, you shall see the kingdom of heaven. You will carry no ideas from the past to hold you, none of the future to frighten you, but just the present, with the assurance that everything you need to know is already at hand—every answer, every solution.

The tests that are easy for us are difficult for others. This is the nature of life. And it means that we, as human beings, must learn patience and compassion. The wheel always turns.

If you want to bring yourself closer
to the Holy Spirit, say, "I am a vehicle

everything is being accomplished as

Every man must first seek to give love if he expects to receive it. He must give it under every circumstance- even though he is abused, mistreated, and given unnecessary hardships in this world.

Love is the keystone of the works of ECK. Without it no chela can enter into the heavenly kingdom. There is one direct command and that is to love one's fellowman and to love God more. Whosoever can measure up to this standard shall be ready for the kingdom of God.

The marriage bond can only be sacred if it is sacred to the two individuals who have agreed to this union. If they are one in heart, how can they be divided?

A true marriage has commitment by each person. Both realize the responsibility of that commitment. A marriage of the heart lets each of the couple remain an individual, but the two are as one.

The very heart of the ECK doctrine is love. This love is that divine essence which unites all reality and brings together all Souls. The higher Soul goes into the other worlds the greater this becomes. Love is the bond which holds the worlds together. It is the living ECK, the spirit of the Sugmad.

that mold. But if you put a limit to it,
you often strike out because you’ve

People with a high state of
consciousness are not frozen into
inaction by terror brought about
through disasters. They immediately
make a plan to turn the negative
energy to advantage. At this level of
creative imagination, Soul is in a
condition of survival. The lesson of the
worlds of matter is to develop Soul’s
ability to ride the crests of life. This is
vairag, detached love.

U know I am quite impressed by ur post. I was almost getting defensive until I saw that u did not mind what I said but moved on to say something sensible.

This is a message to christians. I would have no problems with ur religion but for the hypocrisy that surrounds it.
Although I know its not so authentic, if u guys actually behaved like ur christ was descrided then it wouldn't bother me. If u had this aura of peace, wisdom, love; that is when u will get more converts, that is when atheists would ignore u, that is when u will live to ur full potential.

Religion was meant to make the world a better place. But if it only succeeds in doing the opposite, then I will keep trying to make the truth known.
i am not a christian by the way. i am an ECKIST, a member of ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God. the main teaching of Eckankar is that we are all souls created in the image and likeness of God and we exist because of God's love for us. we were sent down to earth to learn love. so any religion that is not teaching love is way off the mark and any follower of any religion that is not practicing love and giving love to all God's creatures without discrimination or bias is also wasting his or her time on earth. St Paul in the Christian Bible clearly stated in one of his writings that no matter the powers you have if you do not have love then you have achieved nothing.
it is so unfortunate that many followers of religions today are busy pursuing shadows and untruths instead of focusing on what matters most. and that is love and love alone to all life. that is all that matters.

very simple indeed.
by giving love to all God's creatures and your fellow man, without discrimination or bias. whatsoever you do unto your fellow man you are actually doing it for God.

this is the most courageous thing i have seen so far. God has given every body the freedom to worship It the way we see fit and no one has the right to take that away. those who kill or bomb people in the name of whatever will receive their just rewards and those who sit by and watch even though they can do something about it but decide not to do anything about it because it seemingly does not concern them or because those being persecuted are not from their religion, their own time is coming. what goes around always come around.

Err, i agree with most of what you say. But when you use the word "heavenly worlds that are within you"? How does that work? Within you?
the road to heaven starts from within you. you have to shut out the outer world by closing your eyes and putting your attention on your spiritual eye which is located between your two eyebrows. that is the narrow gate which leads to heaven which very few find. singing a holy name for God like HU or a spiritually charged word helps in opening the spiritual eye and you as soul not the physical body passes through that window of soul to enter the heavenly worlds to explore and come back with your memories intact. so you go from within and not from outside.

And i presume that soul-travel is possible for every normal human-being on earth.
every human being is already doing soul travel but is not conscious of it. soul travel is very natural to soul. every time the physical body is asleep soul naturally leaves the body and enters the inner worlds. the only problem is that soul is not conscious of this movements and has no control over it. this is what people call dreams. soul travel is a fully conscious movement of soul into these heavenly worlds and you come back with your memories intact.
