I have a big void and pray the holy spirit guides me with answers.

patience is all it takes. Answers will be revealed to you as you are ready for them.

But I meant your last contemplation seed,showing love and expecting nothing in return.It is a fantastic thing to do and the joy it gives can't be measured.Most times the situations present themselves and you are lead by the spirit.Your contemplation says everyday so I asked are we to go searching or move as the spirit leads(which might not happen everyday).thanks.

that contemplation seed is actually a spiritual exercise. you really do not have to go searching for it because the situations are always around everyday. it only takes the awareness to see it.

the situations to do something for love present themselves at our homes, at our workplace, as we are going to work, at leisure etc. how do you open your awareness to them? in the morning after doing the spiritual exercises, ask God to make you a channel for Its Divine as you go about your day. or simply declare yourself a channel for the Holy Spirit. then go about your day. you will be amazed at the number of occasions that will present themselves for you to show love without asking for reward. your whole life and day becomes one whole giving of love to all that comes across your way.

Hi benodic,please can you elaborate on your last post.do we wait for the situation to present itself or we go searching.

The choice is really up to the individual soul. if you are satisfied with what you know you can seat tight and wait. but if you still feel there is more you need to know and that there is still a void to fill, it then gives you the drive to go on searching to find the answers.

how else can you sing Hu when respecting space.

you can sing the HU inwardly within yourself without voicing it out.

The lower universes comprises of 4 major planes. the Kal is the Negative power in charge of all of them. Jehovah is the representative of the Kal power in the 2nd plane or Astral plane which is the next plane immediately above the physical plane.

Were you a lil scared when you started your spiritual journey

of course i was scared. scared and excited at the same time. 

,how long did you sing Hu before you noticed changes.

it took me up to 3 months. i actually had some experience after a week but i was scared to let the experience flow so i stopped. later my love for truth drove away the fear and i was able to leave my body and travel into the inner planes. it was quite fun when i became more relaxed about it and there was no fear again. the first change i noticed after 6 months was that i have lost all fear for death. i felt more free and could easily forgive people which i was finding very difficult before.

when you are with family & friends do you still sing it out loud.

no. you have to respect other people's space and not be a nuisance to them.
but when i am with friends and family who are Eckists, i have no qualms singing it out aloud because they enjoy it too.

A lot of people are out there seeking truth only to stumble to a wrong path,why can't these masters appear to everyone & help people find their way.

stumbling into a wrong path is all part of the experiences of life. it really doesn't matter. what matters is what have you learnt from the experience. and morever, once somebody is not ready for the next level of truth there is nothing you can do to make him/her to understand.
i can still remember my sister who was in secondary trying to teach me the logarithm table while i was in primary school. no matter how hard i tried to grasp it, it never made sense to me until i entered secondary school. that is how it is in spiritual matters. when the student is ready, the master appears.

You got me with the racial one,I can't help but wonder why most masters are white & when I see so much hate towards my race it's hard to love but I try though.I read someplace that Eck masters are teaching at Eck temples in the inner planes.Eck temples,are their divisions in religions,race & language in the inner planes.if yes then I don't even know what to ask.

There are masters from all the races of the world. there are not mostly white masters. most masters choose to remain underground and unknown, working quietly behind the scenes. if you want to meet masters from your own race you can ask, you may be surprised at what you might see. Eck temples are not divided along any lines. the temples are actually open to all truth seekers no matter their religion or tribe. The Holy spirit is privy to your inner feelings and will bring to you a master that you are in harmony with.

Another is reincarnation,I understand it but the point is difficult to grasp.I read about an Eckist who was skeptical about Eckankar,but when she joined she realised she was an Eckist in her previous lives.what if she became a terrorist bomber,only for karma to come with a sucker punch in the next life forgetting she was once an Eckist.what about you,for all we know you could be the next Boko haram leader in your next life  Grin, losing all the spiritual maturity you gained & karma waiting with an axe to chop you off in your next life.so I ask,has reincarnation helped in this scenario.why does everybody call it a school,in earth when you repeat a class,with residual knowledge & lil hardwork you'll pass the 2nd or 3rd time.But here your memory is wiped out & you are expected to do better,Chineke!well this is one school I hope to graduate from fast.

actually there is a residual knowledge. the slate is not entirely wiped clean. the only thing you take away with you from earth is your spiritual knowledge and awareness. it follows you from one life time to another. that is why i can not suddenly become a boko haram leader in another life time. in this life time i remembered a lot of the spiritual principles i had learnt in another life so i was just looking for the next step. that is how it is.

Ben you are yet to tell me about Eckankar's stand on the trinity

The trinity comprises of The Father, The Holy Spirit and The Son. In Eckankar The Father is the supreme God we know as the Sugmad. The Holy Spirit is the essence of God, the word through which all was made manifest. in Eckankar , the Holy Spirit is known as The ECK. The third part of the trinity is the son, who is the word made flesh that dwelt amongst men and is the channel for the love of God for all life. In Eckankar, The Son, is the Mahanta, The Living Eck Master. whereas in Christianity, The Son is Jesus Christ.

But Ben from your experience dont u think owing no allegiance  to any religious sect would be the utmost thing to do, but holding firm to the truth in every would be best, because with this truth i know now, it will be so hard not to cross part with dogmas.

from my experience there is nothing absolutely wrong with owing allegiance to any religious sect. but you do it with an open eyes, open mind  and open heart. always be ready to take the next step as the spirit nudges you on from level to level. being with people who do not have the same understanding as you is actually a test of love and humility. will you be able to love them despite their shortcomings and their dogmatic attitude? that is the million dollar question? how you answer it is up to you.

baptism is a process of linking a soul to the Holy spirit so that that soul can start going through the process of purification in order to become a channel for God. so there is nothing wrong is baptizing someone in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit.

Ben i didnt know eckankar believe in the trinity correct me if i am wrong, and u somehow seem to sound as if there is an underlying truth in every religion

like i told you before it is all a matter of understanding. truth has levels and the fact that you are done with one particular level does not automatically make it wrong. that is why earlier i gave analogy with mathematics whereby at a level 1+1 is 2 and at another level it can be 10. does not take away the fact that the 1+1= 2 is still correct.

there is an aspect of truth in every religion. those who are serious sieve through the writings in the holy books and collect the gems in them and use them to make their lives and that of others better instead of engaging in unnecessary arguments that only sow seeds of hatred and anger and drive love away.
if at the end of the day the things i write make you to start reading your Holy Book more to glean out the meanings in them in  other to become a better and more loving christian or moslem or hinduist, then i have already achieved a lot.

the laws of God are no respecter of persons and no respecter of any religious doctrine that does fall in line with it. one of those laws is the Law of Karma or the Law of cause and effect. according to this law whatever you put into motion in life eventually comes back to you. if you do good, you will reap good and if you do bad you will reap bad. there is no exception. whether you ask for forgiveness or not does not stop repayment of past debts and you will pay to the last coin.

Christ stands for saviour or messiah. it is a title given to a Soul who accepts the role of becoming a saviour for his fellow souls.

I did a lil research on Eckankar & I want to ask why most of your members are Bold,knowlegeable and practise what they preach.

That is what i have been explaining all this while in nairaland. the importance of being a spiritual adventurer and a spiritual researcher. Eckists do not take anything we are told at face value. we dig in deeper and go into the inner to verify for ourselves and then make that truth a living part of our life. that is why if you see an Eckist talking, he is not just quoting what he read in books or what someone told him, he is talking about what he has experienced and that experience becomes his authority and once you know it becomes easy to practice the truth because there are no more doubts.

What are Eckist doing different from xtians that makes it easier to resist temptations.

what we are doing different is that we are singing HU, a love song to God. this opens our heart to the love of God. once we are filled with this love, giving it out to others comes naturally to us. when you are filled with this love, no temptation can shake you. that is why i keep on emphasizing on the importance of love as the key to spiritual growth. without it, you are nothing. It is also because of this love that i am able to rise above racial, tribal and religious bigotry and divisions.  

Do you believe Jesus had a virgin birth, rose  from the grave,if yes why & how come other masters did'nt do the same.

The problem with most christian concepts are in understanding. most of what is written in the bible is written in allegories and symbolism. that is why you need the help of the Holy spirit to unravel the meaning and also how it relates to you as soul.
the virgin birth is not a physical thing which of course will go against the law of procreation in the physical plane and God does not make laws and then breaks them. virgin in the spiritual sense means spiritual purity. something that has not been tainted. only such a vessel can be a pure channel for God message to the world.

in terms of the resurrection, yes of course that was true. why is it that other masters did not do the same? you have to realize that every master comes to earth with a specific role to play and the roles are not the same. each brings out an aspect of truth that is needed at that point in time. so Jesus had to die and resurrect to show humanity that death indeed can be conquered and that it is not the end of life. other masters come to show different aspects of the truth of life, which is so vast that not one book or even a hundred books can contain it all. that is why it is needless for people to fight over religion or to claim that their religion is the ultimate.

Why do you think jesus told the deciples to baptise in the name of the Father,Son & holy spirit.

If the devil is the headmaster of this school,what's Jehovah's role.

Jehovah is in charge of the 1st heaven which is known as the Astral plane. that is the plane most people go to when they die on earth. that astral plane is still under the domain of the devil or Kal niranjan. the role of Jehovah, like that of Kal is to cast illusions on soul by deceiving the  soul into believing that he is the ultimate God and that he and only he is to be worshiped. souls who reach his palace in the astral plane and behold his slendid features and fell down on his feet and start worshiping him for eternity are caught up in the worst trap you can ever find on soul's journey back to God. you need to carefully study the old testament of the Holy Bible to understand how negative Jehovah is. A jealous god that does not blink an eyelid in wiping outt a whole nation and sending untold hardships to those who do not worship him.

is the devil out of reach when your soul travels.if yes,how come some people get lost, never return,& most times see what is not real.if no,don't you think you are exposing yourself to spiritual & physical problems.

when you  soul travel, you are not alone. the Eck masters watch over you. nobody has ever gotten lost from soul traveling and what you see during soul travel is real. there are no spiritual or physical problems from soul traveling but rather you solve spiritual and physical problems through soul travel. maybe you are confusing astral travel with soul travel. astral travel is the one that has all the dangers you mentioned. soul travel is very safe.

Jesus earthly name was Yeshua. Jesus was his spiritual name and
Christ was his spiritual title.

Every soul has a spiritual name which is given to it by God. that name is revealed to that soul when it reaches spiritual maturity and that name has power and authority. some masters out of their love for other immature souls give out their spiritual name to them to help them grow spiritually. that was what happened in the case of Jesus. also in the case of Harold Klemp, his spiritual name is Wah Z. This name has tremendous power and authority which you can verify for yourself in the inner planes. He also gave out this name to us out of love for those who will like to use it to help in their spiritual growth.

this time its about the exercise for his week --the one at eckankar.org. when chanting those names; is it in this format :12345 ,  or 11122233344 ,

you can experiment with that exercise in various transpositions. it is not rigid at all. i have tried some variations like 1-5mins, 2-5mins, 3-5mins, 4-5mins, and 5-5mins. you can also try 12345, 12345, 12345. or 12345, 54321, 12345, 54321. there are endless way you can try it. have fun with it and continue with the one that you are most comfortable with. spiritual exercises are meant to be fun and not a chore.

l downloaded some videos on how to do the HU. there's this aspect whereby one could send help spiritually by doing the HU--or any spiritually/holy name l supose! my question is supposing the sender is too tensed up to 'feel' love as in "filling ones self with love" at that moment. will it still work?

there is no need to be tense at all before doing the spiritual exercises. there are many ways you can loosen up and fill your heart with love. you can think of events in your life that brought so much happiness and you can also go through the various blessings in your life and give gratitude to God for them. you can also think of the one person that you love so much in your life.
to answer your question directly, once you start singing the HU, even if you are tensed up in the beginning gradually you will feel a relaxation coming over you and the tension will go away. so it will work even if you are tense.

any difference b/w chanting and singing?

when you are chanting it is more mechanical and without feelings, more like a chore. when you are singing all your being is involved, there is feelings and it is more fun and loving.

In our last private dicussion you affirmed there's power and authority in the name of Jesus; but only more potent when sang continuesly in a long drawn-out way. if you could illuminate after doing it; do you now start 'binding and casting' or you just shut up :/ . or maybe you visualise what your mission/ reason is and see the name doing what you desire as you sing/chant the holy name?

when you sing a Holy word like a love song, it is a form of surrender telling God may thy will be done. you do not need to bind or cast anything. all you need to do after the singing session is to be still and listen. you can ask any question about any truth you want to know and then you remain still and listen and put your attention on the spiritual eye and wait and see what happens. you can remain like that for the next 5 -10 minutes. do not worry if nothings happens. watch your dreams as you go to bed.
daily practice of the spiritual exercises gradually increases your spiritual vibrations enabling you to hear the voice of God and to see the light of God which brings the Divine Wisdom of God directly to you.

i wouldn't ant to drag u into other issues, but you wouldnt blame Christians because the bible states clearly there is know other way to God except through christ(some times i think this quote was politically inserted) so in this instance Christians are quite tempted to feel superior hence deviating from the true message of Christ.

from my own knowledge there is only one way to God and that way is love. and love cuts across all religions, all cultures, all languages and all barriers. and that is why st Paul in his letter to Romans wrote a very wonderful piece on love (charity). without love you are nothing. and without love you can never ever go back to God. what the masters teach you is how to open your heart to that love and that is the basics. if you miss this basics no matter your religion then you have missed the whole road entirely. Jesus was an example of that love and likewise other masters that have come and gone. and we are to learn from them and not to fight among ourselves over which master is greater or which religion is the best. live a life of love and service and God will find you at whatever level you are.

But my fear as regards eck is the personality cult issue (Harold Kempt)

in Eckankar, the Master is given respect but he is not worshiped. there is no personality cult in Eckankar. Each master serves God in helping fellow souls to find their way back to God. when their time is up they simply vacate and hand over to the next master.

and most like other underlining rituals or rites involved in the eckanker belief. so far so good i been impressed with your answers to my curiosity

i wonder what rituals and rites you are referring to. i have been in Eckankar for up to 19 years now to be able to know whether there is any negative rituals or rites that is done in Eckankar. Eckankar programs are done openly and people are invited to participate if they like to. there is no compulsion. Eckankar regularly holds ECK Worship services on sundays in various towns where an Eck Centre is located and also we hold Public seminars on weekends and any body who wants to know more about it can attend. so there is nothing hidden in Eckankar. if there is any hidden thing or any negative thing you have found about Eckankar please do bring it to my notice.

It is just a matter of understanding. The way a christian understands the trinity and the christian faith is different from the way an Eckist understands it because of difference in consciousness. So it is not a matter of the doctrine per se but the way that it is understood by different people.

But all these views at the end of the day really does not matter. What matters is how has your understanding of the doctrine made you a more loving person. If your understanding  of your doctrine makes you vain and makes you to look down on other people's  doctrine then you have missed the whole point.

i have a lot of respect for atheists. people like them are the ones moving the frontiers of knowledge forward in this world. they are courageous and fearless.

there is nothing absolutely wrong in asking for prove about the existence of God. but one should direct that question not to other people but to God itself.

ask boldly and ask fearlessly for God to prove that It does exist to you. if It does then your experience becomes your authority and not whatever any religious person is telling you. go ahead and challenge God.
