@benodic, any special event in the inner worlds today? be it in the lower worlds or were ever.

whats the place of vegetarianism in our spiritual life? l abstain after a certain dream, am wondering if its wrong? thanks and happy special date!
Every Soul is unique. what may be good for one Soul may not be good for another Soul in terms of food. you have to discover yourself and what is good for you spiritually. That is why Eckankar is an individual path. The Holy Spirit gives you guidance in all areas of your life including what foods is good for you spiritually. all you need to do is to ask for guidance and you will receive it.

thanks and remain blessed.

The law which all seek to know is the great principle of life. Its simplicity is amazing for it is summed up in the statement: Soul exists because God loves it.
In other words , all life exists because God so wills it. This is the very foundation of life, the whole of the philosophy of Eckankar. There is nothing more and nothing less.
All life is built upon this basic principle of God. If Soul did not exist, there would be no life anywhere on earth or on any of the planets, nor on the various and many planes throughout the universe of God.

The very heart of the ECK doctrine is love. This love is that divine essence which unites all reality and brings together all Souls. The higher Soul goes into the other worlds the greater this becomes. Love is the bond which holds the worlds together. It is the living ECK, the Spirit of the Sugmad.

Christianity Etc › Re: Happy Sallah Celebration To All Muslims by benodic(op): 8:46pm On Nov 06, 2011
What happens to us in life is not what matters. What matters is how we react to it. Whether we react with love or anger is a clear indication of our state of consciousness.
We should do well to remember that Jesus never taught cursing those who harm us but he taught that if someone slaps you turn the other cheek. Return love for hatred. That love that passeth all understanding is the key to bringing peace on earth and not anger and curses.
Let us show that love in whatever condition we find ourselves and let us all join together in wishing muslims all over the world a happy sallah celebration.

@ chieveboy

Hello benodic Smiley Good day, its been a while! l hope you are Good.
i am very fine. thanks

l hadn't been around--posting--cos l had a ROM upgrade for my phone. problem is it opens NL
on Mobile View; this doesn't give me flexibility as before!

l like to thank you for your responses to my e-mails! those times l could
reach you; l browse them and l get fresh insight and some words are brand new!
this is so handy!!
i am glad to have been of help.

l got a question! when you made this statement: "you are soul" l felt there's something Beneath
. what is it please ?
you are soul and you exist because of God's love for you.

secondly, what it is with this "consciousness" of a thing,  l mean how do you know what level of consciousness you are
in?
very simple. The amount of unconditional love you can give out to life at any moment is directly proportional to your level of consciousness. the more love you can give the more expanded is your state of consciousness.

what are the requirements of increasing it, stuffs you should do or be doing, and other-wise?
doing the spiritual exercises is a very good step. this opens you to the inner guidance that will bring out the rest of the steps you need.

There was this Exercise of the week--the 'Report' one--where you write down whats troubling you as a 'report'. is it for Eckist initiates only? thanks
no. it is for every one to use.

thanks and remain blessed

congratulations on the wonderful step you have taken. What makes me very happy is your decision to keep an open mind. It is a very important ingredient in spiritual growth.
Bear one thing in mind, God always reveals itself to those who ask with a sincere heart and of course God does not belong to any religion.
I wish you luck in all your endeavours.

Most of our problems are self-made.
When things go wrong, if we take
responsibility and do something that
gives us greater understanding, life
becomes easier.
This is how it should be, rather than
having someone always giving us
spiritual, emotional, or physical
healings.
The idea is not to hide from life: It is to
live life, but without making the same
mistakes we did before.

one of the practices that enables one to grow spiritually and which cuts across all religions is the singing of the Holy Name of God, HU. HU is sung in a long drawn way and is done 15 to 20 minutes morning and night.
The HU song when done diligently will start the process of spiritual purification, clearing the cobwebs that prevents soul from bathing in the light and sound of God which leads to full unfoldment of the qualities of soul.

Deja vu is one of the signs of soul awakening to its true nature. That of being above time and space.
When soul starts awakening, memories of past lives lived in a particular location starts coming up in form of deja vu. Soul also has the ability to know what is going to happen in the future and privy to such information unconsciously may appear as a deja vu.
So it is an experience to be welcomed with an open arms while you remain alert to the next step the Holy Spirit may be bringing to you.

why i really do not bother about people who believe that there is escape from the law of karma is that life will teach the person better. it was experiences i had when i started observing that i was reaping what i sow that got me asking questions.
so no problem at all. any body is free to believe what he/she wants to believe but one's believe does not change the immutable laws of God. you will reap what you sow.

As we come out of our childhood of spirituality into greater states, we learn to let people be.

—Harold Klemp
The Language of Soul
I really need you to explain this further, u mean we do not owe it a duty to guide people to enlightenment as you are presently doing, or we just let our lives do the talking?
we guide those who ask for it. others who are not interested you let them be. you do not force truth on people. it is actually a spiritual law called The Law of Non-Interference. The only duty you owe is to yourself to bring yourself out of darkness and go into the light.
Christianity Etc › Re: What You Sow Is What You Reap by benodic: 1:09pm On Oct 25, 2011
The divine laws of God reign outside religion doctrines. and one of those divine laws is the law of Cause and Effect of the law of Karma which Jesus was trying to explain by saying that what you sow is what you reap.
God is really not mocked. whatever any one does in life will definitely come back to the person whether you believe it or not.

the only difference when someone repents is that the person is given spiritual strength to withstand the hardships that will occur as the person starts paying off his/her past negative debts.

i can quite understand your misgivings over some of the comments in this thread. Once one truly believes that his religion is the only one recognised by God, human ego creeps in and it totally changes the person's attitude and he unconsciously starts looking down on people in other religion.
I for one will not want to be friends with one who has no regard for my religion or other people's religion for that matter. Live a life of love for all people and let God be the judge of which religion is true and which one is false.
