They must have really liked you to keep you that long ObianujuU: I just had my interview. First session was "how do you think Nigeria can tackle unemployment?"
Lottssss of behavioural questions, Lots of them...I was probably asked all the behavioral questions that have been shared here, and more.
-What's the most challenging job you've done? -Give us an example of when you've had to seek an opinion in carry out an assignment. -Share an experience of your integrity being tested. Can't remember a lot of them, but I answered 10 or more
Interview lasted for 55mins. A part of me is happy that I finally got this interview off my chest, but this is another level of anxiety for me. |

SHE sounds awesome and determined moxiesera: Spot on!!! You have to just be your best self and prepare your best, given the informations that are available. But also, it’s all about you, so if you have really prepared well and you have the experience- work, school, volunteer, family owned business or even church Please be prepared to share it cause it all ends there.
I mean it’s very competitive and whatever would sell you as thé best fit you shouldn’t even be shy or anxious about saying it.
And don’t let the 1st stage destabilize you. Take your time to think, first note sharp points that come to mind on your paper then start to talk. Don’t hold back and make sure you end with confidence!! That lunches you to a great second phase.
I’m hustling like you all, this is my 4th time of trying the recruitment process but 1st time I’m getting to the interview stage. Whether I got all questions right or not, one thing I did not allow to get in my way was fear. So pls be calm.
And yeah, it’s a SHE talking, so trust me when I say relax
All the best!!! |

Congratulations, I don't think they will take that network glitch into consideration Wickedinlaw: Finally!!!!!
I almost shouted "ahhh" when I was asked to speak on my topic but thank God I was stronger than my village people. The topic was on impulse buying.
Then the other questions were majorly to access "leadership, teamwork and excellence".. Tho I was only asked 3 behavioural questions and they focused more on my CV.
Please go and marry your CV oo
I beg you, don't go and be forming UK accent there oo coz some questions will not only restore you back to factory settings but to your dialect if you are not careful
Finally, make sure you ask the right questions!!
BTW, my network went off and logged me out during the interview. You can imagine the situation I was. I don't want to talk about it coz I almost cried. Tho I later logged in again but I don't know if it would count against me.
I need to attend to my inlaws. |

This is just it. Move forward with confidence. Don't babble too much, and finish strong even if you have been saying rubbish. Also be looking at time, even if they say 5 minutes, you can round up in 3 minutes lonewolf20: Confidently say anything . Na just five minutes |

One question though about the video of the interview, Did they not ask that you turn on your camera or is it optional? please, I'll like to know. Thanks. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Pwc Graduate Recruitment 2020 by benque: 12:58pm On Jul 21, 2020 |
Done mine. It was very chilled. After wearing suit and knotting tie, it was not even video sef.
So first they'll throw that scenario question at you. The thing wanted to shake me but as I started to talk thank God something came out.
Then the interview questions
1. Tell me about yourself 2. They asked about my CV 3. Have you learnt anything recently? 4. Why PwC 5. Do you have a time where you had to convince people to go your way? Tell us about it. 6. Do you have a time where your integrity has been tested? 7. Do you maintain contact with professional contacts in places you have worked for? 8. Have you gotten negative feedback? And how do you cope? 9. Have you had to lead a team? 10. How do you keep up to date with technological trends? |

Where you allowed to out source information from Google or they just wanted your thoughts only cycklerhimself: The topic was read out to me and I was given 5 minutes to come up with relevant points and discuss. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Pwc Graduate Recruitment 2020 by benque: 5:33pm On Jul 20, 2020 |
Congratulations on a successful interview. Please I'd like to know if you were giving some time to come up with points for the topic that they brought up or they just required you to reply immediately cycklerhimself: Hey everyone, many thanks for all the success wishes and prayers. Right back at y’all.
Had my interview today and I think it went quite well – had a fun conversation with the 3 interviewers. My sense is that It’s easily the most straight-forward part of the recruitment process – that’s if you’re well prepared and are able to communicate clearly and concisely.
The interview lasted for about 45 minutes. They began by presenting me with a domestically relevant economic theme to discuss. I would love to share what exactly my topic was; however, I don’t know if that’s appropriate or nah, therefore, I’d rather not (I doubt they’ll give the same topic to others tho). But I think the main idea of this section is for them to see how you think through problems and how you can communicate your thoughts. So, there’s truly no right or wrong answer here, oh and you’d be required to speak for no more than 5 minutes.
From there, they moved on to asking me the classic interview questions such as:
Tell me about yourself Then more follow-up questions on what I had just shared about myself Then more questions about the relevant experiences listed on my CV Tell me about a time that you had to work on a collaborative project Tell me about a time where you received negative feedback and how you dealt with it. What skills have you learned in the most recent past that would be relevant to PwC? Tell us about the LOS you selected and why? Which of the units do you think you are most suited to and why? Any question(s) for us?
So, my advice will be to read your CV and be familiar with whatever you’ve claimed on it. Secondly, read and understand those documents that describe PwC's business activities. Lastly, I know this is somewhat clichéd, but be yourself! If you feel tensed, don’t worry, it’s completely normal – it’s your internal system priming you up for the occasion.
All the best to everyone. |
