You forgot that the Chelsea that won 2021 were in a rebuilding process too. Most of those boys were academic players who just began playing for Lampard and others like Kai Haverts, Ziyech, etc were newly bought. Also in 2012, Chelsea were falling apart and could not even make top 5 in EPL, but they went on to win the UCL. You can't underestimate what an in form Chelsea team can do, whether they are old legs or just in their rebuilding process. Chelsea is not Arsenal.

U cannot say that Chelsea team was in a rebuilding process when they had experienced players like Mendy, Azpilicueta (c),Thiago Silva, Rudiger, Kante, Jorginho,Werner,Caballero, Kepa, Alonso, Emerson, Christensen, Zouma,Kovacic,Pulisic, Ziyech, Giroud.

Atiku had two things going for him....financial muscle and loyalty from the PDP hierarchy!
This could have been simply worked out perfectly for Obi if really atiku desired Obi to be the candidate!
This narrative is dead on arrival and makes no sense!
The truth is that most PDP members believed Obi was a lightweight politician who had no structure(popularity) and wasn't their type of candidate who would do their bidding if he eventually gets to aso rock..not surprised!
In other to prove his political capabilities,he left and went to an unknown Labour party & turned them to formidable party in less than a year!
In just one election,he gathered humongous votes from states where PDP were popular and had the supposed structure!
If Obi had failed to establish himself as a powerful politician in 2023,this skewed and hilarious yarn from PDP fanboys like U about how atiku wanted Obi to be president and how wike was the reason atiku recontested would never have surfaced!

Nyesom Wike and his gang kicked against it because they knew Atiku was suggesting that because of Peter Obi.

They came up with the idea that the ticket should be thrown open to all because Wike was very confident that he would defeat any opponent on Primary day...

It was the same Wike that frustrated Peter Obi out the PDP when he saw that Obi was beginning to gather momentum..

It is on record that he went to the Anambra State chapter of the PDP then and bad-mouthed Peter Obi

He divided the state chapter, thus Obi had to leave the party for him.

The constitution certainly doesn't say so. So Atiku Abubakar is very eligible and suitable to run for President again if he so wishes...

I don't belong to PDP but I have met several PDP members who claimed there was indeed zoning in the party constitution!
I had even seen part of such constitution!
This was partly the reason why the same Atiku and other governors left PDP to form npdp in 2013 which later evolved into apc with other parties joining!
If Atiku left PDP because of zoning why is he insisting on contesting when it's obvious that Buhari had done 2 terms and the next leader of Nigeria will definitely come from the South for the purpose of equity?
