QuinQQ: This is one HUGE problem with NL - you may be debating someone who can barley comprehend what they read
WHERE in the posts did you see anything about "after DNA test"?? The thread is about banning DNA test for minors! Don’t you see the heading??
Both posts say the same thing!!! Which is - once a man accepts a child and bonds with the child for several years, THAT IS HIS CHILD! And there ought be a law encouraging him to focus on raising the child to adulthood (18), rather than spending time and 100's of thousands on a DNA test! Capisce? Stop changing the goalpost. In your first post, you made it an obligation for a man to accept a child that is not his. You even went further with the argument using this phrase 'It is NOT sperm that makes you someone's father!'You later changed your argument by admitting that 'It is entirely up to the man to decide if he'd accept the child.'Both do not say the same thing unless you are having issues comprehending your own posts. |

QuinQQ: Of course I was saying the same thing. If you've raised a fairly grown child from infancy you can't suddenly start shouting DNA years later. You must wait till the child reaches maturity You are contradicting and confusing yourself. In your initial post, you had insisted that a man must accept a child he has bonded with even if he later discovers that the child is not his. You now recanted by saying if a man discovers child is not his but 'still accepts' the child, should not later disown the child sighting DNA test. In the first post, you are compelling the man to accept his father role despite discovering a deception but in your latest post, you are saying the man has the right to decide to accept the child after discovering the deception but cannot later change his mind. These are two different things. The good news is that you have finally opined that a man cannot be compelled to raise a child after discovering he has been deceived. |

QuinQQ: It is entirely up to the man to decide if he'd accept the child. But once he accepts the child and bonds with the child and have a settled family, he can't come out years later to start screaming DNA. The state's concern is to discourage such uwarranted DNA fishing expeditions and have the man save his money and focuse on raising a child that knows him as his only father, a child that is almost cerrainly his biological child! Read your initial post.....👇👇👇 QuinQQ: Simple resson: if you've had a child since infancy, he is your child and you're his father and you're obligated to take care of that child till age of maturity. That's how Nature intended it. It is NOT sperm that makes you someone's father! Now compare both and see whether they are saying the same thing. |

QuinQ: That's the point - we don't know the baby is not his. But once he accepts the child and they’re bonded, state's concern is to discourage the settled family suddenly going on DNA fishing expedition (as is human nature). Note that Davido DNA is still not settled because woman was alleging they manipulated the test. You avoid all that and simply and happily raise a child that only knows you as farher! Can you please say how DNA testing at that point benefits the family or siciety? DNA testing exposes fraud. DNA testing makes mothers accountable. Accepting a baby is by choice not deception! If a man must father a child no matter the age,it must be by his own volition not through compulsion or guilt tripping! |

QuinQ: Well, DNA never existed all this while and humanity somehow managed to survive! But this is not even about paternity fraud. This is about upending a child's and family's settled life by going on a DNA fishing expedition If a mother can reject a baby that is not hers in the hospital why can't a man reject a baby that is not his own no matter the age? |

You underate Croatia in the final ?Who defeated Argentina with Messi in the 2018 group stage as not high stakes?
You are mistaken The guy doesn't even know what he is arguing about. How can say a player that has gone to two world cup finals and won one is less than a player who all throughout is national team career could not carry Portugal to a world cup finals? |

GanagiBitrus: No doubt, Mbappe is a good player but when it comes to high-stake big-game matches that involve winning trophies, he struggles.
2018 World Cup, France +Mbappe were lucky with the fixtures to avoid big teams enroute the Final. They played Uruguay (Q/Final) , Belgium (S/Final), Croatia (Final). Is finalist Croatia not a high stake team? Guy you don't get to choose a high stake game based on name. What would you say about another high stake game against Argentina in the 2022 finals where mbappe dragged the french team from the jaws of defeat by equalising after Argentina were leading by 2-0? Stop trying to play down on his performance! Like I said, get you facts right. |

Kalulu44: Did you see the way Spain blocked all the silky passes from Olise and Dembele to Mbappe. Spain were really on top of it Olise is not a midfielder but a winger. The setup was faulty from the start. This was France biggest threat to a finals and I expected Didier to be a lot smarter about his strategy. |

&he is somehow like Jonah that brings bad luck into any team he joins. Are you talking about the same mbappe who scored and won the world cup in 2018 for France? Same player who singlehandedly brought France from the dead against Argentina in the 2022 world cup finals? Is that the same player you claim struggle when the stakes are high? Kalulu44: Even if he had start, there's nothing he could have done cus Spain was in control from the first minute till the end. France was played off the park A cherki in the middle will push olise to 7. Dembele will play from the centre and mbappe will play from 11. That will curtail movement from the flanks which Spain exploited twice and give wingers the licence to go over the Spanish middle on a counter. Finally,France didnt really need to dominate the midfield. All that was needed was a strategy to pick the right passes from cherki. |

There is a reason why paternity fraud exists and why it should be exposed instead of being condoned. Why should I take up father responsibilities of a child that was born out of a lie? What should happen is every child must be subjected to a DNA test to ascertain if the man taking care of them is their real father. This will make mothers to be more accountable. |

This capitulation from France reminds me of Nigeria second round exit to Denmark which we lost 4-1 in the 1998 world cup. Nigeria was already thinking of a quarterfinals clash with Brazil instead of concentrating on winning Denmark. |

lionshare: Again, that claim isn’t supported by the data. You’re repeating a narrative that doesn’t hold up. I asked a simple question you haven’t addressed: why is Dangote selling Nigerian-made cement in Ghana cheaper than he sells it in Nigeria? If electricity, logistics, and other production inputs were truly that expensive in Nigeria, would it even be possible for him to offer a lower price in Ghana? I don’t buy the “high cost of production in Nigeria” argument. Production costs, just like living costs, are often relatively lower in Nigeria than in many West African countries, largely because of the size of the market. Nigeria has a real competitive advantage in cement production, unlike rice production. In principle, cement should be cheaper here than in many neighboring markets, even before you account for scale. Guy you are entitled to your opinion based on the limitations of data available to you. As I have repeatedly opined, there are many circumstances that have enabled dangote sell cheaper to other countries. This i stated clearly on the comments you mentioned. Just because you don't buy the idea or don't understand the huge importance of production cost on pricing doesn't invalidate its impact. Interestingly,in one of dangote recent interviews,he made an insinuation about some African countries (where dangote has his companies) offering him free lands and reducing their taxes just so that he can provide cheaper products for them. |

Onewazobia: In context our cement should price cheaper Far cheaper. It would also be more cheaper if the FG invested more in gypsum mining(one of the raw materials used in producing cement) esp considering that the country where dangote imports it from a trying to limit foreigners. |

ZombieDredd: So if raw materials are in your backyard, cost of production will be more expensive? The equipment used to convert the raw materials finished products need energy. The bagging needs energy Do you have access to consistent and affordable energy or do you use an alternative which is very expensive? When you are done with the bagging, you need to transport these products....last I checked, transport cost is over the roof. The manufacturing company will be taxed by 10-15 different government agencies. All these that I have mentioned will be inserted into the production cost. |
