Barely a week after the Benue State House of Assembly asked Governor Gabriel Suswam’s aides to offer valid explanations on the salaries owed workers, general financial status and revenue generation of the state, a seeming disagreement has ensued between the lawmakers, LEADERSHIP has gathered.

The lawmakers had summoned the commissioner of finance, Omadachi Oklobia, the chairman of Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), Gabriel Asen and the special adviser to the governor on local government, Solomon Wombo to appear before it by today.

However, there was tension yesterday as the legislators were obviously in a serious disagreement on whether to forge ahead with the probe or compel the state governor to settle the salary arrears...

1. CNN has said our Economy is growing. The best Economists are at the World Bank. Now you have all these Nigerian Economists talking nonsense. Do they know better than CNN or World Bank?
2. Nigeria is not poor. Come and see the amount of private jets Nigerians parked at Kenya Airport when we went to Nairobi for Conference. Kenyans were just looking at us with envy. How can you say Nigerians are poor?

i am not a politician but just a political observer,my brother if you study the polity since feb 15 the problem majority of people have against Gej especially in the south west revolves around boko haram and insecurities but in the past days people are begining to give gej a thought but some still remains steadfast .but do you honestly believe nothing has changed?

i didnt call you a politician, however i respect your opinion. as for the issue of things changing, most nigerians are aware of the politics play with the issue of boko haram on the lives of nigerian. and the noise making of the so called aides of the president. if you are opportuned or changed carry out a research by conducting a free and fair poll of who the people want to be their president and you will discover that nigerians still hold buhari and the apc in high esteem.
