EmekaA125:His supporters have sunk his political and electoral worthiness. Yes, he's capable but being capable is one thing and commanding the needed force to actualise and bring his capability to fruition is a different thing. He jumps parties instead of building a formidable one to actualise his ambition. He support base is made of dregs from various dustbins |
I must commend Obi for this but that doesn't change the fact the he will never rule Nigeria |

He Will Politicize Any Natural Disaster Across Nigeria Along It Is Outside South-East”- Reno Omokri Criticizes Peter Obi Ibadan Bomblast Visit To Makinde, Reveals Possible 2027 Election Plans Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has taken a swipe at the Labour Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for his frequent visits to locations hit by natural or human disasters, particularly outside the South-East region. Omokri accused Obi of politicizing such incidents to undermine political figures like President Tinubu or Waziri Atiku. In response to Peter Obi’s recent visit to Governor Seyi Makinde over the Ibadan bomblast, Omokri expressed scepticism about Obi’s intentions, suggesting that these strategic visits indicate a potential plan to contest the 2027 elections. Omokri emphasized that Obi tends to condemn and politicize tragedies selectively, focusing on areas outside Igboland. Omokri shared his thoughts on Twitter, stating, “Peter Obi is obviously planning to contest the 2027 elections. It is as clear as day. His strategic visits to anywhere where there has been a human or natural disaster, whether Kaduna, Plateau, or Oyo, is more than enough evidence of his intent.” He further criticized Obi’s handling of certain issues, mentioning instances where Obi condemned tragedies in some regions but remained silent on similar incidents in his home state of Anambra. Omokri also highlighted the leaked Yes Daddy Audio, suggesting that it could negatively impact Obi’s electoral prospects. “As long as it happens outside Igboland, Peter Obi will condemn and politicise any tragedy in a way that undermines either President Tinubu or Waziri Atiku. He condemned the Kaduna Eid drone bombing, but not the Quilox killings in Anambra (until he was called out). He took umbrage at the Mangu massacre in Plateau, but said nothing about the recently discovered tunnel and school where kidnappers hide their victims in Abia. He has now gone to Ibadan to sympathise with them over the recent explosion, but said nothing when Chinasa Philips was revealed as one of the masterminds of kidnapping in Abuja. “ However, Omokri expressed concerns about Obi’s potential impact on the political landscape, indicating that even with fewer votes, Obi could still divide the PDP’s vote and potentially influence the reelection of President Bola Tinubu. “And anybody thinking that he is planning a coalition with the PDP is not wise at all. Why? He allows people close to him to release information de-marketing Atiku. The latest is the anti-Atiku remark by Governor Makinde, which was released by Peter Obi’s right-hand person. I am not even sure Governor Makinde was aware they would release it. I have just spoken to a significant figure in Governor Makinde’s administration, and now that Obi’s people have publicised it, they, too, have no choice but to do the same.” |
Peterpanny:Anambra as trade hub should be receiving this kind of thing. Nigerians suppose to dey have difficulty choosing between the two but everything ends up in Lagos. Lagos has monopolized everything |
Peterpanny:But make the thing dey happen for other states. My state, Ekiti State needs development too. Good news starts n ends in Lagos. It's not suppose to be like that |
osuofia2:Honestly, I don't know why. Na only Lagos get water for this country? |
Fix electricity, roads and disband market unions. Even dead business will come back to life |
Slytiger:Sad truth is that, he didn't conduct any research. The idea was sold to him by his friend over there relating to gold mine and he took it in hook, line and sinker. |
Enugurangers:All I can say is that, my prayer is with him. Burkina Faso is poorer than Zamfara |
I don't want war in Burkina Faso o. A friend just left Nigeria to Burkina |

The police officer captured in the viral video had insisted that the motorist would not leave unless he paid him the demanded bribe. ANigerian police officer has been caught on camera demanding money from a car driver. The police officer captured in the viral video had insisted that the motorist would not leave unless he paid him the demanded bribe. “Do sharp sharp and go now, if not, I will do my job,” the erring policeman was heard in the video. The officer then proceeded to call his Access Bank account details to the motorist for him to transfer the money before he would allow him to drive his car from the spot. In his reaction, Muyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force described the incident in the video as shameful and against their professional ethics. “This is not allowed, so shameful. It's condemned. We need more info about this. We will fish him out,” He wrote. SaharaReporters had earlier reported also how some operatives of the Nigeria Police Force were accused of kidnapping a businessman in Abuja, the country’s capital city and extorted the sum of N29,900,000 from him. It was alleged that the man was taken away from his site without any proper complaint against him and he was not asked to write a formal statement by the Police Officers. We have taken over this case at the FHQ. The victims and Harrison came to my office on Friday, and we have commenced the investigation into the case. Justice must be served,” Adejobi wrote on X, while reacting to the claims. https://saharareporters.com/2024/01/27/do-it-sharp-sharp-another-nigerian-police-officer-caught-camera-demanding-bribe-motorist |
