Ibu is not the first or last to die in this country. People die everyday.

Igbos should learn to allow people live their life. Life na per head.

That pounds sterling is mostly earned in sweat blood.

If you calculate the efforts it takes to earn one pound sterling, you will be shocked.
It's a serious something. No wonder, people over there stingy and restless like honeybarger

Those considering moving to the UK should reconsider their decision. There are better Japa options. Nothing good comes out of that Kingdom right now.
When you dream of the worth of a pound sterling you will reconsider

I think we just garnered a bad repute over there and most people don’t want to miss opportunities by identifying as Nigerian up front.

But if they trust you or recognize you as a fellow Nigerian, they might open up to you in confidence.

I met some Nigerians in the service industry who didn’t want the stereotype attached to them so they just claimed they were from Ghana. It made me so sad.
You have said it all. The bad reputation is suffocating for honest Nigerians. Imagine you putting your all diligently and still ended up being viewed as a potential criminal. The stereotype is what we will live with for a very long time.

This is unfortunate. Was in Dubai last year and met Nigerians who pretended to be Ghanaian to avoid scrutiny. For a country dubbed the “giant of Africa”, it’s a bit pathetic
What causes that? Was it just because he's a Nigerian or the activities of Nigerians over there?

They are still watching us to see whether our powder brothers won't misuse the small window opened for us courtesy of Mr president. If is not abused by the powder merchants, the same thing can be extended to us in the nearest future.

Some of them are already crying blood up there.

What has this post got to do with the whole Igbos?

You also intentionally omitted where Achebe said ‘ the only thing that unites Naija is their hatred for Igbos’
What has this post got to do with entire Yoruba because you bigotry stems from you quoting somebody that related the post to Yorubas

Your mother gave birth to a wise son. One big secret about the Igbos not prostrating for anyone is that whatever you do for them, they know they can do even more for you and would always like to reciprocate every kind gesture no matter how long it takes for them to do that. Above all, they would never let you prostrate for them when they do you any favour. They see doing good as normal.
No wonder you people lack home training and the more reason you wake your parents with kicks.
